10/10 ⭐️ Took my mom to this salon, and we had a great experience from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed and offered a drink. My mom had a cut and blow dry booked in with Summer, who was absolutely lovely—she made my mom feel really comfortable and did an amazing job. Her hair looks so much thicker and beautifully styled! We’ll definitely be coming back. A really great salon with fantastic service!

I went to Urban Roots for a haircut, and Ashleigh was the stylist who helped me achieve the look I wanted. She also gave me a great blow dry 😁. Lovely personality and customer service 10/10

She is not only exceptional at her work but also incredibly caring and attentive to customer needs. I must apologize for the condition of my hair, as its roughness and tangles took nearly an hour to address. Despite this, she handled it with such patience and professionalism. The rest of the staff were equally well-behaved and supportive. I am absolutely thrilled with the experience and can’t wait to visit again! I love Urban roots **)

I came across Harris Gibbs not long after Chris and Alex had opened their first salon, I had always gotten so anxious about my hair and what if anything went wrong… I sent a lengthy email explaining my hair and my desired style/colour… That was over 15 years ago and I wouldn’t go anywhere else… Always an amazing experience from the moment you step into the salon to the moment you leave… You won’t go wrong if you try these guys..

Best hair salon experience ever, cannot recommend enough!! I was let down by another place when my hair cut was cancelled last minute. They took me on the spot as a walkout and I was treated so well. Chloe proceeded to give me the best haircut I have maybe ever had in my life. She was lovely and took such great care of me giving me EXACTLY what I wanted. I had a waxing and eyebrows appointment with Preet, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was so understanding and accommodating, especially since I have sensitive skin and a low pain tolerance. Preet talked me through the entire appointment, helped calm me down, and was incredibly patient. The results were fantastic — smooth waxing with no irritation. For my eyebrows, she really listened to what I wanted and gave me the natural look I like without over-shaping or thinning them out, which is hard to find! I’m very particular about my eyebrows, and it’s rare to find someone who does them so well. I highly recommend Preet and will definitely be coming back!

I have had three sessions of electrolysis at J Beauty by Nilima and the service has been exceptional. I have felt extremely relaxed during the sessions. Nilima ensures that the electrolysis is completely satisfactory before I leave a session. Overall, I have had a really great experience of electrolysis with Nilima! I can already see so much progress :) 10/10. Would recommend to anyone looking for a permanent hair removal option.

I recently visited to j beauty by nilima , Manisha did my treatment and I had such a great experience! The staff was super welcoming and professional from the moment I walked in. They really listened to what I wanted and gave helpful suggestions too. Prices were reasonable for the quality of service, and I never felt rushed. Sukhi and the team is absolutely brilliant. They are so kind and thoughtful. I’ve never really had anyone who did my eyebrows with as much care and thought as Sukhi. She checks with you at every stage, makes sure you actually like your brows before moving on. Makes recommendations tailored to you. I’ve been here three times and have had nothing less than a great experience. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing Dora was so lovely by the end I felt like she was a long lost friend and she did my hair perfectly exactly how I wanted it. I’d say it was one of my favourite hair colours, I felt a million dollars leaving the salon.

My daughter needed a hair cut and treatment and I was struggling to find a stylist, I read Madora’s amazing reviews and contacted her directly. She fitted us in that week and my daughter’s hair is incredible. The healthiest it has ever looked and has given her so much confidence. Madora is amazing professional in every way I must be her most awkward customer I don’t trust anyone to do my hair, she makes me feel so comfortable and gets it perfect every time, even my kids love to go to her to get there hair done they love her braids and think she is hilarious. It was the first time using the salon, I needed a good cut and restyle due to the poor condition of my hair. Marcia and her team gave me a fantastic consultative service from start to finish, which included hair care regime advice, and lovely cups of tea and biscuits!!. I knew I was in safe experience hands with the end result actually being way better than I expected. I’ve been going to Olena for waxes since Nov 2023, my first and only waxer! She has a really nice calming energy which is a bonus if it’s your first time getting a service like Brazilian/Hollywood wax. She’s constantly asks if you’re ok throughout ensuring your comfort, she checks the temperature of the wax is right and is always so respectful. I love our little catch ups every couple of weeks as she is a really nice person all while remaining professional.

Had my first appointment with Olena yesterday for a male pedicure. I was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout my appointment and Olena was so professional and gave me some good advice on products I can use at home in between treatments to make things better for me. Lovely lady Michelle gave me a great cut, and not too expensive. Thank you! Since this review michelle has cut my hair again (which I’m happy with again) and I’ve brought my daughter to her also. Now daughter is hard work to please, but Michelle was so lovely with her and even though my daughter acted like she didn’t like it at first, (as teenagers do) she loves her hair now. Michelle is a brilliant cutter and we both have thick curly hair, Highly recommend her!

Daughter was happy with her cut but I would argue the price is a little high for a child’s cut. Nevertheless she’s happy.

I went to this hairdressers for the first time and had the best experience. Ellie did my hair and did an amazing job, we had a discussion before hand and Ellie knew exactly what I wanted and I left with a balayage better than what I imagined. All the staff were lovely and very professional, I will definitely be returning to this hairdressers and would recommend to anyone.

I had my hair washed and blow-dried by Aliyah, one of the junior stylists, and she was absolutely lovely! She was really polite, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable throughout. I had my hair done with Ellis today - a fantastic colour expert, highly recommend as she really knows her stuff! She really listens to her clients’ needs and makes sure you get the whole experience 5 star. The service is fantastic across Benjamin Ryan generally and a lovely relaxed environment. I’ve been going for years and will continue to do so. (Some of the reviews that have been left that are negative are so far removed from anything I’ve ever experienced).
