Great little pub that seems to get better every time I go in. Serving good quality changing cask ales alongside other beers, lagers, wines & spirits. They have Estrella Galicia on tap, a refreshing change to drink a lager that's actually made in Spain, unlike Madri concocted in the UK & to be avoided at all costs. I haven't eaten here but I'm told the food is good. Keep up the good work. 👍

Our lovely local, amazing burger nights, great events throughout the week and Sunday sandwiches are to die for! Always greeted with a smile, happy for us to sample what's new and make alterations with the menu. Can be an issue sometimes with space as it is a small pub but the outdoor area is inviting and has heaters

Great service, great food (especially the burgers!!) and great atmosphere. Lovely garden and outside space. Family friendly (before 9pm). Just a lovely place to go. 😍

Everyone enjoyed their meals, apologies, no main meal pictures. My icecream pictured was really good. Service was friendly and prompt. Allowed to bring your own drinks. Would go again.

Malabar: I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience visiting this restaurant. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff who make us feel welcome every time we walk through the door. To start our meal, we ordered ten popadoms (10 I know, my friend has a popadom addiction) which arrived at our table quickly, accompanied by a selection of delicious chutneys. The popadoms were crispy and light, making for the perfect start to our dining experience. For the main course, we opted for two chicken curries: the Chicken Tikka Curry and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with tender chicken pieces that simply melted in our mouths. The Chicken Tikka Curry was rich and flavorful, with a subtle spice that left us craving more, while the Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and indulgent, with a hint of sweetness that complemented the spice perfectly. We also ordered the Bengali Lamb Curry, a dish that was new to us, but one that we'll certainly be ordering again. The lamb was cooked until it was tender and juicy, and the curry was rich and aromatic, with a complex flavour profile that was both exotic and comforting. To accompany our curries, we ordered a serving of Tarka Dhal, a delicious lentil dish that was the perfect balance of flavours. The lentils were cooked until they were soft and creamy, and the spicing was spot on, with a hint of ginger and garlic that added depth and warmth to the dish. To round off our meal, we ordered chips and naan bread, both of which were perfectly cooked and delicious. The chips were crispy and golden, while the naan bread was fluffy and soft, with a hint of charring that added a subtle smoky flavour. Overall, our dining experience at Malabar was exceptional. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend Malabar to anyone looking for a dining experience that won't disappoint. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt like we were in good hands, and we'll certainly be returning to Malabar again and again.

We had an excellent meal here yesterday evening. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Excellent food and there is nothing the staff won’t do for you! We won’t eat anywhere else in Aldridge! The Railway Lamb Madras was exceptional.

Absolutely lovely place,so chilled and relaxing after a hard day.loved the mocktail that was recommended by the lovely young guy that made it and the food was very tasty.I will definitely be visiting with family again soon.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing Mocktails and shisha….Vibe was very relaxing and the staff was very helpful they explained menu very well and looked after us as well. Would definitely visit again.

Only other place to do my favourite chipotle bowls and that I was very impressed with , will have to go through their menu they have some good selection, was very happy with what we ordered today. My girlfriend had the Zenjafil chicken it was unlike anything we’ve ever tasted very unique and absolutely delicious.

Based on several reviews, I suggested to my mother in law we visit here and I’m so pleased we did as we both came away already looking to our next visit! We were greeted immediately, shown to a table, ordered from the breakfast menu and in addition enjoyed an afternoon take out cake since we couldn’t help wanting to try from the generous selection. A really delightful experience, lovely and welcoming staff and as for the food, it was just as it states on the door…Simply Delicious! We look forward to seeing you soon x

Went for Afternoon Tea with two of my best Friends... everything was 100% excellent service.. excellent food .. lovely friendly Staff..we would highly recommend. Plenty to eat and drink...set in a lovely setting..our visit on 5/12/24..was wonderful...deserves 10 stars. Xxxx

The service alone gets this 5 We forgot an order and they got it out to us lightning quick so we could all eat together rather than wait. Jalfrezi and wraps were great. Food was amazing, very popular and good selections. Booking is a must. Thanks to the staff for keeping us in check and for great service.

Absolutely fantastic Desi-pub... Haven't been here for years, so was very surprised by the amount of space it has. A good choice of curry type meals and grills at a reasonable price. Good choice of draught drinks at the bar. You queue up to order food, and again to order drinks... Seems to work well and the food came out quite quickly. The only gripe was the weird "dance" music being played too loud that made it difficult to have a conversation... Follow up visit... Not as good. Felt really rushed, they brought out poppadoms but no plates, then brought out plates and the mains within moments. Would not recommend the salad, it was tiny, mostly lettuce. However, the background music was better and not as loud (shame about the group of "grown men" behind us who were shouting and messing about ...)

The food is absolutely immaculate. It always come out in great timing, a little more on the spicy side. What’s more is that the portion sizes are very generous. There is nothing to fault about this grill other than the noise dampening, or the lack of it. I feel due to the nature of the rooms the noise echoes around. Sound deadening clouds would be a great addition but apart from that, be SURE to eat here. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity. :)

This was my first time here and I will return. The food was amazing... so fresh. Loved the prices too and the beer.

We've been here a few times as we live in the area. The staff are always very welcoming and attentive. The food has always been good too its the best Indian in the area in our opinion. Also having a few pubs nearby helps to make a whole night around there.

Our second visit here and it would have been better if I hadn't had trusted my instincts. My usual choice off the menu is for something very flavoursome and on the hotter side. Unfortunately this resulted in our waitress recommending the Gurkhali special, apparently it's one of their most popular dishes but I wasn't sure and subsequently found it really bland and watery, possibly the most tasteless dish I have ever had. I should have returned it but waiting for a replacement would also spoil the night for the wife. Her meal was just the opposite which she couldn't praise highly enough. There was nothing wrong with the starters or sides either which were better than most places . I did mention my "issue" to them and TJ was very apologetic and rectified the issue. If in doubt with the menu please seek his advice. The friendly and efficient service, ambience and presentation of this restaurant is excellent, and we look forward to a different dish when we return.

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal here. The food is a notch or two above the other Indian and Asian restaurants in the area and competitive on price too. They serve alcohol so you wo t be able to take your own but prices are good £4.50 for a reasonable sized glass of red! I just wished I'd taken a photo of the nasn bread - it was a sight to behold.

Have popped by a few times now. Plenty of parking and when it gets busy, there is an over flow car park too. Toilets are available if needed. The garden centre is large and has a lot to offer. Even has a lovely walk around the back. Or you can just sit by the lake and enjoy a cup of tea and maybe a meal. The cafe is a lovely place. Ladies are always helpful and polite. Food is nice enough and not over priced. Yet if your a vegetarian, you'll have very limited choices. But a nice slice of cake usually helps me through such limitations. There is something for everyone though. If your in the area, pop by and enjoy.

Went for Afternoon Tea, a belated birthday present. Had to queue to be seated, but it was very busy, however a table had been reserved for us. Food quickly arrived and looked delicious. Only down side was only filter coffee and breakfast tea included, I usually have decaffeinated drinks. Maybe they should look at that or allow you to pay extra. It was very busy, so noisy and we struggled to get more coffee for my husband. Maybe they should give you a small pot. For the price it was very enjoyable and would definitely return.

Clean, tidy,friendly staff,food wait was not long came out with coffee and it did not dissapoint will be returning in future.

Nice to see a good old fusion restaurant. The quality of the food is quite good but I must say that most of the dishes are quite spicy, even if you ask them to tone it down. I even tried the Beef Mongolian (good lamb dishes are hard to find these days) and it was not bad. Just goes to show what can be done with well cooked food and a large selection of spices. The drinks are ok, a bit on the expensive side but where aren't they these days. Decor is nice, fairly relaxed which makes for a pleasant dining experience, whether with friends or family. I suspect if I lived closer we would probably be ordering from here on a regular basis. Would definitely recommend and will probably go again.

Lovely staff, food was really good, I wanted something spicy and they delivered! The hand dryer is very powerful, I love it! 😮 The decor is clean and modern 😍 I probably won't be coming back tho since I'm not a big fan of noodles or Indonesian style food. 4.5/5 stars. But hey look at my pictures, I should be a frickin photographer.

This has to be the best Chinese food iv had in Birmingham ! Everything was so tasty, I can’t fault one thing! Me and family loved not just the food but their excellent customer service which makes me want to go back again. The staff were so polite and went out their way to make our first experience a very good one!

The location of this restaurant is randomly placed away from merry hill but the food and service is fantastic. We were seated right away and ordered from the main and chef specials menu. The starters are freshly made, no frozen calamari just freshly done. The mains we perfect sizes, no need to order sides with it. We didn't have enough room to eat dessert so took a tiramisu home instead. Staff are very friendly and clear your table promptly to make space for you.

Exceptionally high quality Italian at really good prices. The area around it is not so pleasant but do not let that put you off. The staff were attentive and friendly in their manner. The food was top notch.

First time visiting but will definitely be back. Great quality, authentic, Italian food, all very reasonably priced in a well kept restaurant with good atmosphere
