Arrived for lunch sitting 1145 to be greeted by very friendly and informative staff. Menu choice incredible, prices good, food standard unbelievable! 100% coming back ASAP.

Wow the food here was phenomenal, fantastic value for money and huge portions. The food was full of flavor and the chicken tenders ordered by my friend were big chunks of pure chicken breast. My partner has a huge appetite and was so full after his meal I have alot of allergies and they couldn't have been more helpful so accommodating, they double checked ingredients for me without me asking and without any fuss, which can sometimes feel awkward, and embarrassing but here I was made to feel like it was no trouble at all and I was confident that what I was eating was prepared safely for me making it even more enjoyable. If you are considering eating here my advice would be stop considering and just go you won't be disappointed!

Second time coming here with family, and honestly, it was amazing. Food was delicious, especially for the kebabs, chicken karahi, and naan. It was very tasty. When I came here for the second time, I had the afghan pilau was yummy because not only it has the meat, but it was topped up with carrots and raisins. I would definitely recommend it if anyone considered trying afghan food.

Upon arriving, we were quickly served, though due to the busyness of the restaurant, the waiter was only able to set up a small table in the waiting area for us. We placed our order, including the signature Kabuli Pilau, only to be informed that it was temporarily unavailable—quite surprising given that it was only 6 PM and the restaurant stays open until midnight. After a bit of clarification, the waiter explained they were in the process of preparing a new batch, which would take over 30 minutes. Despite the initial hiccup, the service was efficient, and the food arrived fairly quickly. The dishes themselves were impressive, with flavors that felt genuinely Afghan. Portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food offered. This restaurant is family-friendly, making it a great choice for those dining with children or in larger groups. Overall, while the initial service issues reflected the restaurant’s high traffic, the quality of the food and the value make it a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy Afghan cuisine.

There is a high standard of care and attention to detail to people frequenting the restaurant. The food came out quickly although the restaurant was busy. All the serving staff were very welcoming and also the bar staff when we arrived greeted us with a smile and welcomed us. The food was outstanding and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends, also lovely Mocktails. The greeting was warm and very welcoming, offered coffee, tea or juice and assisted me with my bags up to my room. Excellent service. Room was clean and tidy and well aired, I like a slightly cooler room than average and this was perfect for me. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Downsides, when I booked it, I didn't spot that it's a shared bathroom although, as it happens, I never saw the person/people I was meant to share with. The sink was dirty and had hair in it also the mixer fawcett was loose but worked. I also almost fell off the toilet as the seat was broken. The restaurant was closed so I had to either go for a walk down to the take away, which are only about 5 minutes walk away, or order in. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Welcoming, courteous, clean, quiet, and safe for females and Muslims, too. I was very grateful my luggage was carried upstairs as I struggled with lifting the luggage and my bags. Highly recommend! Great value for the price I paid, which was less than half of what my fellow colleagues paid at Holiday Inn. Tip: Welcoming, safe, quiet, 24hr hot water

Lovely pub, seemed busy around lunch time on a Saturday. We were told to wait for 30 minutes for food, which wasn't too bad. We just had a quick snack (nachos; ratio of tortilla chips to sauce was 2:1) and some nonalcoholic cider as we were driving back to the city. Great atmosphere and service. Just scored low for the lack of sauce.

I've been driving past here for a few years now, but it has never been. I'm pleasantly surprised. Very nice pub, large car park. There are plenty of tables to choose from. The staff are polite and friendly, also professional. Ordered food from the bar, and food arrived promptly. Food was lovely, very happy. Will be bringing the family back here for sure. Thanks.

I’m a regular to the Hardwick arms and I’m always greeted with friendly staff and I am always able to have a laugh with them whilst there on there shift. I would like to make a special shout out to Mandy and will, 2 of the management team, always outstanding and really know what they are doing.

It was our first time there with a large party of 50 plus. The team did a great job in taking the orders and getting the food to the tables within minutes of each one, even though there were other large groups at the venue. The food was tasy and varied. We will visit again. Very professional and excellent service.

As someone that’s eaten all around the world, at some of the world’s best restaurants, at the price point Da Vinci’s is at, it’s up there with all of them! Now I’m not saying it’s as good, I’m saying at the value you can get a fillet steak (fillet Neroi) in a fabulous sauce for £23.95 is outstanding value with excellent quality. Where in a restaurant nowadays are you getting pasta dishes under a tenner? I think I counted 15 pasta option under a tenner, even lobster ravioli was only 12-13 quid! The wine list isn’t massive, but the most expensive bottle is a Rioja at only £25 that’s outstanding! The wine is priced fantastically and fairly, We visited twice in the build up to Christmas then new year, both times were fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly without being overbearing, no rushing at all. The menu is extensive, with antipasti starters, vegan and vegetarian, pizzas, fish, calzones, grills, chicken, risotto and much more, something for everyone. Good selection of deserts, the profiteroles my wife had were excellent. My pet peeve are toilets, downstairs yes, but spotlessly clean, very important. Overall, by far the best non Indian (put them in a different category) in the area, the pubs local including Wetherspoons charge more than these guys for some of the menu and there’s no comparison! Absolutely five star for the price you pay, they also do a deal in the week I believe.

Went last night for a Birthday Meal. Absolutely could not fault a single thing. Staff very attentive - drinks order, food order, drinks served, Starters served, Mains served….we were beaten so didn’t sample any Desserts but I’m sure they’d have arrived with the same speed and efficiency. Relaxed atmosphere - most tables were occupied when we got there but you wouldn’t have known they were busy - you were made to feel like their only customer. Great choice on the Menu from Meat, Fish, Pizza & Pasta. Whilst the Restaurant may not be Italian-owned, as someone who has lived abroad and sampled Mediterranean food frequently, this was delicious. Perfect portion sizes with great value for money. My Son aged 10 is already asking when we can go back so he can try the Lasagne “next time”! I see absolutely no reason why we shouldn’t!

I have to give the new relaunched Afrikana a 5 star rating, the food was amazing!! The phat boxes are definitely worth a try when your visiting. The service was brilliant, a special thanks to Alikha for being so helpful and attentive! The atmosphere was nice, definitely a lovely place to visit.

Me and my uncle went for a meal today to Lil' Afrikana. Were given food and drinks menus by a gentleman with the name of Saif. Saif was very respectful and also knowledgeable of the restaurants menu. The restaurant was very clean and had a relaxing environment. We both loved the food and will definitely be coming here again. Thank you for your outstanding service and delicious food. 😊

Myself and my wife and son called in for a meal and a drink around 4.30pm before heading back home to Oldbury. The old cinema had been kept with plenty of character and the food was good, but the only downside was that the main doors into the seating/dining area were pegged open and as it was so cold outside a very cold draught was blown through and it soon cools down your meal and body temperature!;!😔

Cracking pub that tries its hardest to look after everyone that walks through the door. Who says Spoons are not the pub to be seen in? This pub is head and shoulders above some of the 'better class' pubs in the area!

Went there 26th Jan for late Burns night supper. At 12pm, the place was packed. Mostly families having brunch following sporting events(I guess). Found a table and had a couple of drinks before ordering the Burns specials. I had haggis tatties and nepes and the wife had Caledonian burger. It was as expected and on a cold day, the plates were hot. Enjoyed it there. Laid back and a friendly atmosphere.

Lovely food, stop off whenever we are in Birmingham. Every time we go the staff are very welcoming and the food is by far some of the best about. The chicken tikka is the best i have ever had. The large Tawa is amazing if there is a few of you and you don’t mind sharing.

First time visiting the place. I asked if l could have sample taste of lamb and chicken they were more happy to do that. I have to say lamb and chicken shawarma was really tasteful. Lamb doner tasted like proper lamb doner. The nan was slightly on thin side so it broke easily. Update: So l tried the lamb & chicken kofta in a wrap. Great tasting, moist and goes well with salad. Well worth visiting to check out the food.

Just had the most delicious Lamb Kofta ever. The food was delivered to me in such a beautiful way. Will not hesitate to re-order from Turkish Grill and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a platter for 5 when there were 4 of us. Food was piping hot, fresh and tasted amazing. I've eaten from a few places similar but this is definitely a place I will be revisiting often. Very good price for the amount of food you get. The naan/roto served with the platter was really soft and tasted fresh. Definitely recommend to everyone!
