“My partner and i are near for the weekend and decided to come here for dinner. First impressions the whole place was beautifully decorated for christmas and overall had a very cosy feeling. All staff very friendly and welcoming, Dean our server was very attentive and made sure everything was okay for us. Food came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious, one of the best steak and ale pies we’ve had. Definitely worth the visit and would massively recommend!!!!”

“Quite busy in the restaurant but that's because it's popular. For starter had crispy beef to share. Had a roast beef and roasted cauliflower with satay sauce for our main course. Good food, good service. Would like to go back in the summer and sit in the garden for lunch”

“Went for lunch, , driving into the entrance was amazing, fabulous setting, beautiful house. Food was served by fun attentive staff, which made you feel relaxed. Good lunchtime menu. We had a mix of plates for starters for four and four mains. We brought a birthday cake which was served up on a beautiful glass cake stand without any fuss. A couple of glasses of presseco and beers went down well. Highly recommend. Thank you all at THE PIG at the BRIDGE”

“We finally managed to have a tour and tasting today, after Covid had cancelled it twice before. We had an informative tour around the vineyard, and then a tour around the winery, in a relaxed manner, with plenty of laughter. Then we had a proper tasting in the bar upstairs, and a few good goes down the adult slide! We’ll with the price and time. Sylvia could not have been better, and was a great tour guide and supplier of fine wines, still and sparkling for tasting. And the best bit, it was adults only, no children - keep it that way!!”

“Staying in a nearby hotel for Christmas but had to come here as have heard so much about it. A few pubs in Bridge and this one seemed certainly very nice but typical of a good country pub. BUT tried only a bar snack and thought YES I get it. I want to come back and have a meal soon.”

“We’re tourists in the area and this was the closest pub for dinner. To be honest I wasn’t expecting too much after seeing the photos of previous reviews for the food, but it was really really good (excuse my photos too lol). The service was first class and so so welcoming and great value for money to boot. AND dog friendly”
