I had the best breakfast here since the beginning of my stay in the UK. I rate the whole experience very good. The service was nice and helpful. We didn't wait long after placing the order. The dishes were wonderful - fresh, tasty, pleasing to the eye and palate. Compliments to the chef. Delicious coffee. I will definitely come back here, even though the queue in front of the entrance is not getting shorter 😄 It's really worth it!

Incredible food, lovely staff an overall really comfortable dining experience. Highly recommend for a quick breakfast, brunch or lunch. My companions had their meals prior, but the staff were happy to offer just the sides and a drink without any fuss. Perfectly situated along the way to Canterbury cathedral and surrounding areas.

My friend and I came to this place for a quick lunch. We both ordered a bacon and chicken toast and it tastes really good - probably some of the best toasts I’ve ever had in the UK. The breads are perfectly toasted and delicious - definitely a hidden gem. The price is quite reasonable too.

Nice little on the way in Canterbury from Canterbury West station. Very friendly staff and lovely cafe. We had breakfast/brunch and ordered the Rancher and the House Smoked Salmon and Avo with two tea. Very good and different from your normal breakfast offerings. Worth a visit.

Great food in an amazing location close to the Canterbury Cathedral. The restaurant is a fusion between classic dishes (you can find pizza, pasta, burgers) and Romanian cuisine. Romanian cuisine focuses on good meat and good quality ingredients, if you want to try some authentic dishes I would recommend the smoked aubergine salad, mititei and for dessert the Dracula's heart (actually called papanași, freshly made in the kitchen, the waiting is worthwhile). The service is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant looks amazing!

We went to La Cabana on graduation day, and we were lucky that they had tables free for us and seated us very quickly. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The food was really tasty and great portion sizes! The atmosphere was great, with a nice intimate restaurant with great music. We would definitely come again, and would absolutely recommend to go to!

Been a few times to this great little restaurant. The food is outstanding, try one of their mixed plates with injeera bread and a tasty Asmara beer.

Fabulous fresh and delicious food - the shiro was as good as I’ve had, lovely injera with a perfect sour tang, and the coffee with full ceremony is a joy. Best new place in Canterbury.

Las Iguanas is hands down the best place to go for a fun, vibrant dining experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy, and the staff were beyond amazing.They were so lovely, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire evening, making us feel right at home. Now, let’s talk about the cocktails! They have an incredible selection, but the piña colada is an absolute standout—perfectly blended, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. Easily one of the best I’ve ever had! The happy hour deals are also fantastic, making it the perfect spot to unwind with friends or celebrate a special occasion. On top of that, the food was delicious with a great variety of flavors and dishes to choose from. It’s clear that Las Iguanas puts a lot of thought and effort into every part of the experience, from the quality of the drinks to the warm, welcoming service. Whether you're popping in for cocktails or a full meal, this place never disappoints. I can’t recommend it enough this is truly the best spot in town for great food, amazing drinks, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back!

We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening so the place was quiet. The food was nice, I had a burrito and a nice cold Mexican beer. Not bad, but not as good as I was expecting.

It was a welcoming and wonderful experience, I planned a surprise dinner for my partner with friends. Gabe helped me out big time, pulled off the surprise and helped set up the table with decorations. The restaurant was beautifully presented, and the cocktails were amazing! Came as a group of 5 to celebrate my sisters birthday. We had the bottomless brunch which was absolutely brilliant! Our server Lucian was on it making sure we always had drinks. He was a good laugh and service was quick. Thanks Lucian and Las Iguanas - we'll be back for sure!

Fabulous pub! We went with friends on Sunday and had the delicious Sunday Roast. It was really great. We particularly loved the Cheesy Leeks and the Yorkshire Pud. The beef was perfectly cooked. Can't wait to go back!

Absolute little hidden gem. The Food is always delicious. Generous portions too and always consistent with quality. ROAST DINNERS ARE A MUST HAVE. There's nothing better than a pub with a brilliant work force behind it. Emma and her great team are amazing.

Just had a wonderful Sunday roast. Even tho we didn't book, they found us a teeny table! The pub was heaving, the atmosphere great, the food amazing... fantastic roast beef with loads of veggies, deliscious Yorkshire puddings, gravy, cheesy leeks, carrots, parsnips, roast tatties... very good indeed!! Incredible Sunday summer roasts packed with flavour and excellent wine list and seasonal cocktails. Highly recommended and far better value than the Pig!

The food was exceptional as was the wine selection which included a number of English vineyards. We chose the â la carte menu and were very pleased with the choices. I suppose the only comment we would make is that it's basically a pub albeit an elevated one and the service reflects that. Which doesn't mean that anyone was rude - far from it - but there was a fair bit of shouting and loud talking in/out of the kitchen and up/down the bar. My expectation when paying £75pp is that the staff would perhaps be a little more circumspect but in no way did it detract from the absolutely amazing food.

I had a wonderful time at the Fordwich Arms. The food was delicious and the staff very kind! I had the Hake, The Quail, the pistachio and raspberry tart. My fiancé got the Pork instead of the Hake.

An incredible experience, all round. The service, food and atmosphere were outstanding. I love the fact that this restaurant doesn't have a 'stuffy' vibe. It's top class but in a relaxed way. Will definitely be going back.

El Sol is a fantastic find near the cathedral, offering a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere. The paella is a must-try—worth the wait and absolutely delicious. The tapas were also top-notch, showcasing a variety of traditional Spanish flavors. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. Whether you're nearby or just passing through, El Sol is well worth a visit.

This restaurant is great with lovely Tapas and a very cosy feel. Really enjoyed the octopus, the chorizo and fab padron peppers. Took 1 star off as when it's busy, it's a bit tight for space. Our table on 15th November was right next to the bar area where everyone waits for their table. Try the food though!

I must say there service from two young staff was brilliant . I think they were called George and Freya, and they were very hard working, jolly and funny guys! .. a breath of fresh air and very polite indeed . We stopped for a drink at lunch time ,and found it to be so nice we booked for dinner 😘.. food was good, standard pub food which we really enjoyed ! Well done guys! Xx

We had Sunday lunch. The food was exceptional. There were three choices of meat/poultry. None overcooked or dry. The roast potatoes were really good. The fairly limited vegetables were well cooked and prepared, although the carrot and swede did taste like carrot and sweet potato. Service was very good. Attentive, but not intrusive. The original beams and floor add to the ambiance. I'd definitely recommend paying the place a visit.

This gorgeous beauty has recently been taken over, we drive past regularly and thought we would try out under new management and we certainly were pleasantly surprised how welcoming the owner and staff were, had a great evening. Went for lunch with my Mum, excellent service and very good value set menu. I had the flat iron steak with a side of delicious chips. Unfortunately my steak was overdone, I asked for medium but it was well done-I didn't mention it at the time-i'm sure they would have made me another if I made a fuss, but it was still OK. Mum had fish pie which she enjoyed. Treacle tart for desert was very good.

Some of the best dishes I have ever tasted. A beautiful setting, attentive staff. Great wine list with plenty of affordable options by the glass, designed for experimentation. But the food is by far the brightest star. The savoury blue cheese cheesecake with beetroot jam is the most stunning dish I have tasted this year; and the flavour will be something I remember for years to come. Everything was excellent, but also deserving of special mention was the dark chocolate torte with hazelnuts blackberry sorbet. A stunning mixture of flavours, executed perfectly.

We had a lovely dinner with the family. Very child friendly restaurant. The ambiance and food are fantastic! We highly recommend the Beef Wellington. Their home made ice-cream is delicious too. Definitely recommend!!!

I'd never known that Cosy Club existed until someone I know had recommended going. A friend and I were visiting Canterbury for a bottomless brunch at another venue and just had to visit to find out how nice it was for ourselves. It was a Sunday early evening, and quiet when we arrived. Our welcome was super friendly, and the service at the bar was good. Cocktails were 2 for £12.95 which is brilliant! We didn't have much time available before our booking elsewhere, although we tried to push back our other booking so we could stay longer, but was unfortunately unsuccessful in getting hold of the other venue, which was a shame. Despite this, we had enjoyed our first drink so much that we decided to go back for another before ending our evening and heading home. The lady at the bar even brought them outside for us! The decor is absolutely stunning, drinks tasted amazing and were served with a smile. We would definitely be back to try more of the cocktail menu!😍

Great for all occasions fancy or casual. i Went for my grad celebrations & had the funniest time. Lunch menu was amazing!! and the service was super! Went here for Christmas Eve dinner and it was amazing! I've wanted to go to this place for a long time and regretted that I didn't do it earlier!! The atmosphere and interior are simply incredible, you can look at the scenery and paintings forever, they are all so beautiful!! The food was delicious, we chose a few starters and also my friends chose two main dishes At our request, all the food was brought to us at the same time, for which I thank you very much🙂 Everything was delicious, especially arancini and shrimp 🤤 All the staff were very friendly and attentive, the service was impeccable The star was Bella, who served our table, she was incredibly pleasant and made our evening special Thank you!

First time here and I can honestly say it won’t be the last, service was very good. They were busy with Christmas parties but they were prompt. Food was good but the cocktails are such good value for money, if you go between a certain time it’s 2 cocktails for £12.95 bargain
