First time at Salon Chique and I will be back. I was with Honey for eyelash tint and lift. She was very delicate and the session was super relaxing. I am very pleased with the result and will definitely have it done with Honey again.

Honey is just brilliant, really thorough with the manicure and always up for cute designs! Everyone at Salon Chique is so lovely too!

Highly recommend Shelley - she is so lovely, very friendly and immediately puts you at ease. Very professional service in pristine, comfortable home salon. Shelley has an eye for detail and took care to check we were both happy with results. After care advice given and helpful recommendations for other products I may find beneficial (and have since purchased and been very impressed with) with no agenda/pressure. This was my first lash lift/tint and I love the results. What a great find to discover such a brilliant independent salon practically on my doorstep! My fiancé got her nails done today from the wonderful Shelley, ready for our wedding day on Sunday. Friendly service and made her feel very comfortable and welcome. Would definitely recommend and also she has plenty of other services she offers.

Had my first appointment with Shelly today for a set of BIBA gel nails, she was lovely and made me feel relaxed immediately she has a great choice of nail colours including glitter ones. The beauty room atmosphere is very relaxing and the room is very clean. I came home and immediately booked again to have my nails and lashes done.

Been visit Sabi for a year for my waxing and couldn’t recommend her more! Brilliant customer service she gets to know you and your preferences, remembers to ask about topics you’ve previously spoken about and makes you feel at ease during her service. I always feel comfortable during the treatment and know that I’m in good hands - Sabi’s attention to detail is like no other, she will ensure you leave with smooth skin and teach you how to look after your skin between waxes :)

Booked a last minute deal for a wash, cut and style with Thea. Thea did a pre-cut consultation to ensure she knew exactly how I wanted my hair to look. The cut was perfect and looked amazing one my hair was styled. The products used were fabulous. My hair felt and smelled incredible, so much so that it still smelled wonderful 2 days later. I called the salon and asked to purchase the shampoo, conditioner and oil and Thea popped a complimentary mousse product in the bag for me. Honestly, this is the best salon in Canterbury. I return time and time again and have never been disappointed.

I don’t think I have ever had a hairdresser hit my needs 100% until now!! Thank you so much Megan, not only did you listen you looked after me and my hair throughout, I loved how we both got in the zone me working on my laptop and cracked on with my hair. Megan was approachable and asked all the right questions on styles and practicality as well as talking me through the after care of the colour! I would highly recommend Megan especially if you are looking to be comfortable and want your colour done.

Jess is an absolutely amazing stylist! She works pure magic - my hair is in brilliant condition because of her skill and attention. I have absolute confidence in her advice about colour and hair care. Jess is great at taking my vision and making it a reality. I always leave the salon looking and feeling incredible!

Had high and lowlights with Danielle. She was fantastic. Listened to what I was trying to achieve and the results are just what I wanted. There was no pain which sadly I had become accustomed to with my old hairdresser. It was a lovely relaxing experience with a very talented hairdresser. I will be back. Thank you 😊

I took my mum here for a birthday treat, we both had facials in the dual treatment room, the hydration sensation facial was so good the ice globe massage was my favourite part so cooling and relaxing! Stacey and Madi were both lovely, they had good product knowledge and made us both feel at ease. They even managed to fit my mum in for a wash and blow dry after so she left feeling very refreshed. Thank you will be visiting again!!

I have visited twice in the last week and had 4 treatments. The first visit was for an exfoliating treatment followed by a full body massage with Karita. I had managed to book my treatments for the hottest day of the year but the room was a comfortable temperature and Karita made me feel at ease throughout. The products used felt very luxurious and it felt like a real treat. I went again for a facial followed by lash lift & tint with Madison. The facial was very relaxing and again such a treat! The eyelash perm & tint was the most comfortable time I've ever had this treatment. Although perming solution is never a pleasant smell my eyes weren't irritated and I didn't have any discomfort as I've had at other salons. I'm so pleased with my lashes! I was given a few samples of the products used in the facial to take home. They also offer a loyalty stamp card and when you have collected 10 stamps you receive 10% off.

Danielle did an amazing job on my cantankerous wavy curly hair. Great cut which means I can care for it myself. She took time to find out what I would really like. She was friendly and interesting to talk to. A lovely relaxing yet professional treat. I’m coming back

Laura is amazing. Her work is outstanding and top notch! In a world where people recommend so many services, especially when it’s around wedding days, it can seem overwhelming but Laura was the best choice. I cannot thank Laura enough. Her service was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I met her I knew that she was 'the one'! Went to The Chair today for the first time. My daughter has a very sensitive scalp and is always in a lot of pain when going to the hairdresser. I can’t remember her name, but was a young brunette young lady, my daughter’s word is the best experience she has ever had at a hairdressers. Customer service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ she was so sweet, nice and gentle with my daughter’s scalp and she smiled all the way home because she was so happy with her hair cut n dry. I went to The Chair 2 weeks ago and left not entirely happy, as I found many split ends after the appointment. When I left an in-depth review (3 stars) they contacted me asking if I was available for another appointment for a free cut & blow dry to fix the problem. Today I came back for my appointment and they were lovely. They really cleared up any miscommunication between me, the client, and my Hairdresser, Amber, and Amber did a beautiful job. Katie, the owner, also came and talked to me to make sure everything went well and I left with no visible split ends and a gorgeous hairstyle. Thank you so much for your great customer service The Chair!!

Edit: Further to me posting this review, the lovely owner got in contact with me to talk through my points and offered me compensation or a free haircut and blowdry. The owner really obviously cares a lot about her business and staff and this wholly translated through this phone call - she's a really lovely lady who wanted to make things right, so I've added a well deserved star. I wholeheartedly appreciate the compensation provided to me, thanks so much for listening to my genuine review. I did want to reiterate that everyone I have had contact with at the Chair have been so lovely, my hair stylist included, and it seems I just had a rare bad experience, via miscommunication or other. Thanks to everyone at the Chair for genuinely caring and making things right. Original Review: Unfortunately I won't be coming back. My stylist was a really really lovely person and did a fabulous job on my bangs but I asked for 2 inches max off my length and at least 3-4 have been cut off my long hair. 2 inches was all I wanted at a maximum because I have very long hair and struggle to feel myself without it but wanted a refresh. I also asked for small beach waves for styling and got a princess curly hairdo instead- not me and not what I asked for at all, and I had photos in tow as an example of what I wanted and just wasn't what I got. I ended up going home and restyling it myself. The cut itself is nice (barring the extra length cut off which I'm not happy about) but for £78 I can't fathom that what I got is what I paid for. A pity, as I came here after having a few bad experiences too.

Having struggled for years to find a suitable hairdresser who can manage my mixed race hair I finally found The Chair. They are simply the best! They work their magic on my hair every time and make me feel well and truly pampered whilst I'm having my keratin smoothing Brazilian blowdry. I have a regular wash cut and blowdry in between treatments and my hair is now in such good condition since becoming a customer of theirs. Hair magicians! 🪄 Thank you 💇‍♀️

I’ve had the pleasure of having my hair cut by Ash for a couple of years now. Despite never knowing what I want going in, I always come out feeling more confident and much better about my hair. Happy to travel the distance every time to get my hair cut by someone who knows what I want done due to his wealth of experience.

Ashley has been cutting my hair for years and always does a great job. He knows how to achieve the right look for my face shape and I always leave feeling good. The salon is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Just had my hair done this evening by Dani, she was so welcoming & friendly! For someone who doesn't get their hair done very often the whole atmosphere was so relaxing! Gorgeous salon as well, it just adds to the luxury feel of it all! & ofcourse, over the moon with my hair booked back in straight away before I left!💗✨️

I had a consultation and haircut with Charlotte, and I was so impressed with her expertise and understanding of my long, thick hair. When I left, my hair looked incredibly healthy and shiny, and my family couldn’t stop complimenting how lovely it looked. The whole experience was fantastic – Charlotte and the lady who washed my hair were both so friendly and welcoming. They even brought me a latte and chocolate, which was such a thoughtful touch! Had my hair dyed by the loviest lady Elise today and I am SO impressed with the transformation of my hair!! We went from a faded out red box dye colour to a beautiful 2 tone dye with dark brown and rose gold halo. I appreciated how everything was spoken into steps, reassurance, and honesty through out the whole process of the colouring. I’m still in complete awe of the transformation of my hair, it looks great! & of course brilliant chat and chill vibes through out. Anything is possible with Elise when it comes to colouring! 10/10 ✨

Had a jellyfish cut done by Ben and I’m incredibly happy with the results! The length and style is exactly what I wanted and I really felt listened to about my wants from the appointment. Highly recommend him as he was very kind and accommodating and gave me a great cut :)

Had a haircut with Elise today and cannot recommend enough! Best haircut experience I have had. Elise carefully listened to me and did my hair perfectly, and exactly how I wanted it. This was funny because where I have gone somewhere else before, they have said I couldn't get a fringe because of my cow's lick, but Elise proved them wrong and gave me the perfect wispy fringe. What made the experience even better was how she talked me through it the whole time, making sure I was happy with the cut throughout, this was really nice because most hairdressers don't do this. Overall, Elise is the best person I've gone to for my hair and I will definitely be going again. I walked out feeling like a total new me, which I loved.
