Had a haircut with Elise today and cannot recommend enough! Best haircut experience I have had. Elise carefully listened to me and did my hair perfectly, and exactly how I wanted it. This was funny because where I have gone somewhere else before, they have said I couldn't get a fringe because of my cow's lick, but Elise proved them wrong and gave me the perfect wispy fringe. What made the experience even better was how she talked me through it the whole time, making sure I was happy with the cut throughout, this was really nice because most hairdressers don't do this. Overall, Elise is the best person I've gone to for my hair and I will definitely be going again. I walked out feeling like a total new me, which I loved.

Had my hair dyed by the loviest lady Elise today and I am SO impressed with the transformation of my hair!! We went from a faded out red box dye colour to a beautiful 2 tone dye with dark brown and rose gold halo. I appreciated how everything was spoken into steps, reassurance, and honesty through out the whole process of the colouring. I’m still in complete awe of the transformation of my hair, it looks great! & of course brilliant chat and chill vibes through out. Anything is possible with Elise when it comes to colouring! 10/10 ✨

I booked a last minute appointment with Elise for my 10 year old daughter yesterday and she had the most wonderful experience. It was her first time visiting a salon and she was thoroughly pampered and absolutely thrilled with her haircut. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend Elise enough.

I highly recommend Oliveira. I have finally found my hairdressers and Venia is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced hairdresser. My hair is more complicated, so you need to know your stuff with thick/curly hair! Venia was very attentive to what I wanted to do with my hair and patiently gave advice on what would suit my hair the best. I started with dry and lifeless looking curls and color and finished with beautiful bouncy curls and a stunning glow to my hair, and I always get compliments. The salon itself is very welcoming and fun, and I always come out feeling taken care of.

My first experience with Oliveira hair was absolutely lovely! Since moving to Folkestone last year I was struggling to find a hair salon that could understand curly hair. After terrible experiences in two local salons I was about to gave up…until I came across Oliveira Hair. Veina was lovely and did her magic, leaving my hair feeling gorgeous. The place feels very welcoming and relaxed. I had a great chat with Eudu and her apprentice, and I’ll definitely be coming back! 100% recommended!

Asked for Jean Seberg circa 1960 / Winona Ryder circa 1994 hair and got a pixie cut completely tailored to me. Good coffee and conversation made it a very enjoyable afternoon! I've received many compliments and it's only been a few hours since I left the salon, thank you :)

I’ve had the pleasure of having my hair cut by Ash for a couple of years now. Despite never knowing what I want going in, I always come out feeling more confident and much better about my hair. Happy to travel the distance every time to get my hair cut by someone who knows what I want done due to his wealth of experience.

Just had my hair done this evening by Dani, she was so welcoming & friendly! For someone who doesn't get their hair done very often the whole atmosphere was so relaxing! Gorgeous salon as well, it just adds to the luxury feel of it all! & ofcourse, over the moon with my hair booked back in straight away before I left!💗✨️

Amazing first ever experience! This is the first time I took courage to go to a hair salon and I do not regret it. It was an exhausting day as I’ve been to different places and was turned away because they couldn’t fulfil my request. However Alex did, even though I didn’t have an appointment scheduled. She was amazing and had an absolutely mesmerising personality that immediately made me feel comfortable and trusting as soon as met her. And her “scissor hands” were enchanting to observe😁! I went for a drastic pixie cut and I couldn’t have achieved a better result than this, Alex did an incredible job. I feel confident in my new cut and loved every bit of this experience!

Alex is one of the best stylist in Canterbury! I had an amazing wash, cut and blow dry by Alex at No.1 Unisex salon, he’s done an excellent job, he’s the only person I would trust to cut my hair, I am very satisfied with my cut and blow dry. Service is amazing and very professional. I would highly recommend coming here. He also gave my 18 month olds daughters first hair cut. He was very gentle, professional and patient with her. I couldn’t be happier with her haircut, I will definitely be coming back again to Alex to have mine and my daughters haircut. 10/10

Had a lash lift done with Lenka, it was a really lovely experience and the lashes lasted for weeks after!

It was my first time visiting Camomile rooms. I had a great experience with Tiffany who was warm, friendly and very professional. It was my first ever strip wax now there will be no more stress of hot waxing ever again! They are a gem and I can't wait to try all the services

The owner really obviously cares a lot about her business and staff and this wholly translated through this phone call - she's a really lovely lady who wanted to make things right, so I've added a well deserved star. I did want to reiterate that everyone I have had contact with at the Chair have been so lovely, my hair stylist included, and it seems I just had a rare bad experience, via miscommunication or other. Thanks to everyone at the Chair for genuinely caring and making things right. Original Review: Unfortunately I won't be coming back. My stylist was a really really lovely person and did a fabulous job on my bangs but I asked for 2 inches max off my length and at least 3-4 have been cut off my long hair. 2 inches was all I wanted at a maximum because I have very long hair and struggle to feel myself without it but wanted a refresh. I also asked for small beach waves for styling and got a princess curly hairdo instead- not me and not what I asked for at all, and I had photos in tow as an example of what I wanted and just wasn't what I got. I ended up going home and restyling it myself. The cut itself is nice (barring the extra length cut off which I'm not happy about) but for £78 I can't fathom that what I got is what I paid for. A pity, as I came here after having a few bad experiences too.

Having struggled for years to find a suitable hairdresser who can manage my mixed race hair I finally found The Chair. They are simply the best! They work their magic on my hair every time and make me feel well and truly pampered whilst I'm having my keratin smoothing Brazilian blowdry. I have a regular wash cut and blowdry in between treatments and my hair is now in such good condition since becoming a customer of theirs. Hair magicians! 🪄 Thank you 💇‍♀️

I went to The Chair 2 weeks ago and left not entirely happy, as I found many split ends after the appointment. When I left an in-depth review (3 stars) they contacted me asking if I was available for another appointment for a free cut & blow dry to fix the problem. Today I came back for my appointment and they were lovely. They really cleared up any miscommunication between me, the client, and my Hairdresser, Amber, and Amber did a beautiful job. Katie, the owner, also came and talked to me to make sure everything went well and I left with no visible split ends and a gorgeous hairstyle. I have visited twice in the last week and had 4 treatments. The first visit was for an exfoliating treatment followed by a full body massage with Karita. I had managed to book my treatments for the hottest day of the year but the room was a comfortable temperature and Karita made me feel at ease throughout. The products used felt very luxurious and it felt like a real treat. I went again for a facial followed by lash lift & tint with Madison. The facial was very relaxing and again such a treat! The eyelash perm & tint was the most comfortable time I've ever had this treatment. Although perming solution is never a pleasant smell my eyes weren't irritated and I didn't have any discomfort as I've had at other salons. I'm so pleased with my lashes! I was given a few samples of the products used in the facial to take home. They also offer a loyalty stamp card and when you have collected 10 stamps you receive 10% off.

I took my mum here for a birthday treat, we both had facials in the dual treatment room, the hydration sensation facial was so good the ice globe massage was my favourite part so cooling and relaxing! Stacey and Madi were both lovely, they had good product knowledge and made us both feel at ease. They even managed to fit my mum in for a wash and blow dry after so she left feeling very refreshed. Thank you will be visiting again!!

Had high and lowlights with Danielle. She was fantastic. Listened to what I was trying to achieve and the results are just what I wanted. There was no pain which sadly I had become accustomed to with my old hairdresser. It was a lovely relaxing experience with a very talented hairdresser. I will be back. Thank you 😊

After awful experiences at other salons I reached out to this beautiful little salon near my work and I couldn’t be happier. Kay, Immy, Jade and Liv are welcoming, incredibly professional and are ultimately the sweetest team. Over the last year, Immy has made me feel confident about my nails, something that has always been a big insecurity for me. I started my biab journey over a year ago and with regular appointments my nails have never been more healthy and more beautiful. I can’t thank these girls enough for the perfect treatment every time. Definitely reccomend their massages and their nails especially anyone wanting to start their biab journey!! (Picture 1 first set -> picture 2 current set) As my nails grew, so did my Pinterest boards and it really got out of hand… in the best way🤣🫡. Every design I have given Immy over the last year she has taken in her stride, from Taylor swift Eras nails to Cherry red with diamontes, Leopard print to my Barbie and Ken cherry bonanza- she’s done it all. Her ability to take a an idea and make it her own is really really special. …And when I don’t have any ideas, it’s a salon vote, Kay and Immy will help me work out exactly what I want and make it better than I could imagine it!! Sometimes watching Immy effortlessly detail, design and paint is mesmerising and I realise I’m staring 🤣 She clearly loves what she does and so, as my nails have grown, I have subconsciously been challenging her to top the last set🤣. I’m very grateful that I walked into this little salon that has now had the BIGGEST of glow ups and get to have beautiful art on my nails all month long because of Immy’s hard work and creativity. The salon itself is to a phenomenal standard (luxury does not even do it justice), it’s clean, welcoming & the decor is just to die for. As soon as you enter the studio, you can instantly tell the amount of love and hard work that has been put in to make this a place people would be delighted to go to. The team at The Beauty Studio have been nothing but professional, welcoming and in a lot of cases - a well needed therapist! I have had many treatments from all of the team and they all deliver incredible results! I have been a model for training purposes, in which the senior team have provided guidance and support for their members of staff learning something new, not only making me feel at ease to have the treatment, but I can imagine, really supports the staff that are learning too.
