We had a wonderful meal here back in July. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and served with great wine. Darren is an amazing and entertaining host. Thank you so much. We will be back soon.

Lunch today at Hilltop was an outstanding experience - made even more pleasurable by the irrepressible manager Daren. A traditional English Sunday lunch served in comfortable, spacious - in places quirky - interconnecting dining rooms with attentive and personable staff keeping the buzzing guests fed and watered (or wined). Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch with my nan, she used to attend the reggae nights on a Friday back in the day. Darren was beyond attentive and really made my nan feel special, talking about the old days with her, gave her a tour of the venue, a bowl of the coleslaw she used to eat there and a lovely flower from the gardens as we left. I love smiley, chatty, warm welcomes. When I entered Perfetto Pizza that is just what I received. Don’t let the name pull your attention towards the fast food staple. Perfetto Pizza crafts beautiful examples of all Italian cuisine. All is served in a humble, bohemian beach house that is bright and modernly decorated. Service is fast, attentive and helpful. The food is presented artfully and tastes superb. I loved the relaxed environment; great value, no none sense quality Italian food.

Had the most incredible meal here! Enjoyed every single bite well worth every penny spent! We had the venison tagliatelle and carbonara and both were exceptional! Cannot wait to return!

Lovely little fish and chip shop just off the high street, very friendly staff and very good value, parking right opposite for a few cars or more parking in the high street including a free car park, delicious fish and chips.

Loved this place cooking. Am a fan of Fried Chicken, seasoning is amazing, fried crispy to prefection and great portions. Friendly and great service. All the complinents to this local business. I endorse their cooking and service 100%.

I got chips with 2 saveloy sausages and honestly, they were amazing. The chips were cooked very nicely and the saveloy was cooked with the skin and sausage meet very well! Would recommend to any person visiting Borough green. (I put on the pepper myself)

Have not lived in the UK for 15 years, so when I do come back, I love to get fish and chips. This place did not disappoint. I've had cod and rock from here on two occasions and they were both really good. The salt and pepper chips are great !

Been coming here for over 35 years, moved away a few years ago but whenever we are back in the area this is a must for us. Best fish and chips and for the veggies their spring rolls are excellent.

I cannot believe that I've lived in the local area for 17 years and not found this place. I've just popped in on way home from work as my go to fish bar closes at 20:30. So glad I did. This is one of the best Cod n Chips meals I've ever had. Awesome batter, chunky piece of Cod, all cooked fresh in front of me and the chap serving was so pleasant. I'll be back!

Had large cod and two large battered sausages. Cod was huge and yummy, great batter. Sausages very tasty. All in all I was really impressed.

Best pub in the sevenoaks area by far. Ben is a fantastic host you couldn't feel more welcome. Me and my family love this place.

We went to the Plough for Thai Night and wow it was amazing! The food was very tasty. The flavors were well-balanced, combining sweet, sour, and spicy elements in a satisfying way. The dishes were freshly prepared with quality ingredients. From the aromatic curries to most amazing fish dish, each item vibrant and bold tastes typical of Thai cuisine. It was both filling and flavorful, leaving a positive impression overall. We will definitely be going back!

The staff are fantastic and so polite. The food is great to the portions are great I promise you you will not walk out still feeling hungry like some pubs

Went for a birthday with ten of us, a mix of kids and adults and had a fab Sunday lunch. Beef, Lamb and Turkey were all wonderfully cooked and the food was plentiful. The staff were exceptionally kind and couldn’t do enough for us, including the landlord who made us feel continuously welcome. The surrounding area was also beautiful with quite a few walks - I recommended leaving it for after the food! Wouldn’t hesitate to go here again.

Lovely pub and atmosphere. Very good selection of drinks, starters and desserts. Quality of what we had was very high and the service was excellent. The only reason why I don’t give the 5th star is that I found the choice of the mains quite limited and maybe a bit samey compared to other gastropubs.

Loved this place , food was amazing, dog friendly!! The bloody Mary's to die for ,will also recommend the prawn starters and the bao buns !!! Staff is so friendly and service is quick ,!!!

Visited as one of a group of ten for early Christmas get together. Service was brilliant, food sublime, nothing was too much trouble and atmosphere was second to none. Obviously not the only ones who enjoyed this lovely venue as it was quite busy. Would highly recommend.

We had walked 5.5 miles around the local countryside When it was suggested that we would like to lunch in the papermakers. We was warmly greeted and showed to a table for 5 The food was great 4x sausages and mash and I had the thai chicken curry all of had clear plates Followed by 4x apple crumbles and 1 mixed icecream yet again 5 clear plates. We had a really lovely visit to The Moody Mare recently, the first of many I hope. Great staff and a really good selection of drinks. The most incredible aspect of the pub is the building. The atmosphere is really special and history is truly worth hearing about. The team have managed to keep both the important historical features but add some unique features, such as the teepees at the back of the pub.

Nice food for reasonable prices. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the venue is clean and really big. A service charge is automatically applied to bill at payment.

Beautiful place but can’t comment on food as only stopped in for a drink. Really nice staff. Can’t wait to come back for a meal. Lovely outdoor area. Good parking.

We really enjoyed our Father's Day meal here. The pub is in a beautiful village setting and boasts the original wonky beams and low doorways of a 16th century drinking hole. The menu is simple and unpretentious, but the food is delicious, cooked to perfection and generous in portion size. The staff are friendly, helpful and gave us the space and time to enjoy our meal as a family group of 9. We stumbled upon the pub as a happy accident but would definitely book again.

We had our first ever Christmas Day lunch at a restaurant at the Vineyard today. We had a lovely time. Louise and her team were very welcoming, professional and really looked after us. The food was excellent as was the service. The ambience was also lovely. We would definitely go there again for Christmas Day lunch and would recommend it. Thank you the Vineyard for making our Christmas Day lunch special.

Having lived in the surrounding villages for a long time, and now moved to West Malling, I've driven past this place countless times. I’m aware that the premises have gone through a few variations over the years. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I’d heard there were new owners who took over earlier this year. I was thinking it might have a pub/restaurant feel, but I was mistaken. This is not a pub at all, but a restaurant. Inside, it’s beautifully decorated. A lot of attention to detail and expense has clearly been put into the decoration, from the decor to the artwork. Chairs, tables—everything has been done to a high quality, giving it a sense of fine dining. This is enhanced by the exceptionally presented food and the excellent service provided by the staff. Moustapha, our main server, was excellent. The food was good and tasty and they have an excellently presented menu and wine list. The atmosphere was also wonderful, making it a great place for a date night. It stands out from other local places with its real restaurant feel.

Gorgeous food! We’ve been to both the supper club and had the dining at home boxes and the food is to die for. High quality food & produce. The pastries and coffee on a Saturday are a must too! Couldn’t recommend enough!!

I ordered the take away meal box for my husband’s birthday (we have young kids at home so this worked so well for us). Communication was easy, delivered (for free) at time stated. Really easy to follow reheating instructions and the food was superb!! Gave us that restaurant feel without leaving the house. Can’t wait to try the restaurant. The meal box includes 3 courses and a very welcome (delicious) cocktail. Excellent service, top notch food and reasonably priced for such great quality! Highly recommend

One of the best kept secrets of Sevenoaks or maybe even the entire South-East. If you fancy an AA rosetted 3-course-meal delivered to your own home comforts, that is so easily prepared (literally just pop them into your oven for either 25min or 15min - they come with instructions) and are SO extremely delicious, even the cocktails, then look no further! And if not, you may also join their Supper Club and experience their full-on 7-course fine-dining on every Friday. They even do Cookies and the best cinnamon buns on the odd Saturdays! Thumbs up to the dream team Tom & Becky.. and of course their three girls!
