Loved this place cooking. Am a fan of Fried Chicken, seasoning is amazing, fried crispy to prefection and great portions. Friendly and great service. All the complinents to this local business. I endorse their cooking and service 100%.

Best fish and chips for miles around Kent. Great family run chippy. My new local, even tho it's a 15 minute drive away.

Lovely little fish and chip shop just off the high street, very friendly staff and very good value, parking right opposite for a few cars or more parking in the high street including a free car park, delicious fish and chips.

So far only had takeaway or delivery but this place was recommended to us by a friend and as dubious as I was to try somewhere new, I’m so glad we did not one dish has disappointed us, always great flavours and they never deviate. Staff are brilliant and are also good at following instructions for delivery.

Very quiet mid week and terrible music playing but the food was good and the service was excellent.

Lovely local restaurant. Restaurant itself is a little dated but that dosent bother me as food is fresh and tasty.

We had a family Christmas dinner with one couple staying the night. It was all so amazing that we've agreed this will hopefully be our new Christmas go to for our dinner! The room was also lovely and warm, big and well appointed. Thanks to all at The Bull

Great experience here, can't fault it. Martin was quick to respond to some questions I had when booking. Very comfortable room, great meal, excellent wine list, and the service from Dylan was perfect. Highly recommended!

Some young, inexperienced, bar and service staff. Breakfast disorganised and slow. Other staff very good. Due to type and age of property there is no lift and the room floors slope. Pretty village, lovely place to stay and get some r & r. Excellent venue for a wedding or engagement/anniversary/birthday party etc.

Only went for evening meal and what an evening meal it was. Top class cuisine, friendly and efficient staff. What a great find! Highly recommend a visit to this lovely place

I've been coming yo this restaurant since it first opened in the early 80's my parents where in fact there very first customers, I've had meny meals here both eat in and take away never had any bad food obviously some are better than others but the food has always been very good staff are friendly and place is spotless I've never had to complain in over 40 years .

We love the Raj and enjoy eating there whenever we visit our friends in Sevenoaks. The food and service are outstanding.

Recently had a meal here with my wife and two young boys , a fantastic friendly service, very attentive. Food was amazing. We can’t wait to come back.

Just had the most amazing meal for my birthday with the family. They have been so accommodating and the food was absolutely amazing. We all had different and everyone said how lovely the meal was. The staff were so friendly and on point. It was so busy too but it was so cosy and relaxed we didn't have to wait at all between meals considering how many of us there was. We are not that local but will definitely be going back again. We'll worth the journey out. Thanks again for the perfect birthday meal xx

Went for a family meal to celebrate my birthday… food was fantastic, including my vegetarian dish. Service excellent, staff polite and friendly. Had my two young grandchildren with us on Friday evening and they were welcomed and catered for. Really can’t fault the evening and will most definitely return … infact planning to re visit very soon.

The Moat itself is the perfect winter wedding venue, it’s cosy yet spacious , beautifully decorated and the food is incredible! They aren’t phased by dietary requirements or tailoring the day to the individuals. If you are engaged, get to the Moat for a tour and book your perfect day! Prices are very competitive, and the accommodation is perfect too. No need to go anywhere, the whole day is effortlessly hosted on site from start to finish. Thank you again for giving us special memories of our perfect day! And even better, we can return for our anniversary celebrations in the future to dine in your equally wonderful restaurant! We cannot recommend The Moat enough....the truly pulled off the most incredible wedding for us. From our first visit, through all the planning and the day itself we had exemplary service, care, warmth and organisation. They made everything so easy, were willing to go above and beyond and put us at ease. Special shout out to our coordinator on the day, Amy. When we arrived the day before to drop off our stuff she was so knowledgeable, helpful and calm as well as bringing such a positive vibe. All our family and guests commented on how wonderful she was. The space is just so beautiful and all the facilities (including the hotel rooms) are top notch. The food was particularly spectacular, we had the family style service and everything was delicious, hot and plentiful. The team at The Moat liaise with all your vendors and make everything so easy including the registrar people, band, photographer etc. It's the perfect venue if you want somewhere that's going to make planning straightforward but at the same time not feel like it's just a cookie cutter wedding venue that pumps out weddings on repeat. The place is somewhere we'll always go back to as a pub for years to come and it's got a lot of character and charm. It was also comparably great value, wedding prices are usually extortionate but I think their rates are very fair. We had the best day of our lives and highly highly recommend The Moat to anyone looking for a venue in the area.

Doesn't do food ! But great wee pub

Quite a sweary place with men shouting at live sports and a lot of toxic masculinity. However the locals are friendly, good beers including ales on draft and a pool table. The only pub left in central Borough Green now that the Red Lion turned into flats and the station pub into a Sainsbury's.

Nice friendly pub, lots of promotions sports on TV. Well worth a visit.
