Best pub in the sevenoaks area by far. Ben is a fantastic host you couldn't feel more welcome. Me and my family love this place.

We went to the Plough for Thai Night and wow it was amazing! The food was very tasty. The flavors were well-balanced, combining sweet, sour, and spicy elements in a satisfying way. The dishes were freshly prepared with quality ingredients. From the aromatic curries to most amazing fish dish, each item vibrant and bold tastes typical of Thai cuisine. It was both filling and flavorful, leaving a positive impression overall. We will definitely be going back!

Went for a birthday with ten of us, a mix of kids and adults and had a fab Sunday lunch. Beef, Lamb and Turkey were all wonderfully cooked and the food was plentiful. The staff were exceptionally kind and couldn’t do enough for us, including the landlord who made us feel continuously welcome. The surrounding area was also beautiful with quite a few walks - I recommended leaving it for after the food! Wouldn’t hesitate to go here again.

Thank you for a perfect lunch. My burger was amazing. No grease, not stacked ridiculously high, no overly sweet brioche bun, it was so tasty with delicious relish and freshly ground beef. The fries were light and crispy too. The pub is beautifully presented and perfectly clean and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm. Particular thanks to Debbie for being so welcoming. A real ray of sunshine. 6 stars if I could.

We really enjoyed our Father's Day meal here. The pub is in a beautiful village setting and boasts the original wonky beams and low doorways of a 16th century drinking hole. The menu is simple and unpretentious, but the food is delicious, cooked to perfection and generous in portion size. The staff are friendly, helpful and gave us the space and time to enjoy our meal as a family group of 9. We stumbled upon the pub as a happy accident but would definitely book again.

Great experience here, can't fault it. Martin was quick to respond to some questions I had when booking. Very comfortable room, great meal, excellent wine list, and the service from Dylan was perfect. Highly recommended!

I had booked another hotel for my partners 40th birthday. When we arrived it was awful and I decided not to stay there. We found the Bull and thankfully they had one room available! The staff were so welcoming and the location is lovely. Our room was homely, clean and comfortable. We had a nice view from our window and we both slept well both nights we were there. The only sound was local church bells which was really nice :) On the first night we ate in the restaurant. The service was excellent, the waitress was really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! We had breakfast both mornings which included juices, yogurts, cereal, tea/ coffee, toast, a range of marmalade, jam and honey and the option of a full English breakfast. The breakfast was also delicious and the service at breakfast was also excellent. The restaurant/ pub/ bar area is a really nice place to sit and enjoy a meal or a drink. We would definitely recommend the Bull as a hotel and as a restaurant. We’re really lucky we found this place after the bad start to our trip and my partner ended up having a lovely birthday! Some young, inexperienced, bar and service staff. Breakfast disorganised and slow. Other staff very good. Due to type and age of property there is no lift and the room floors slope. Pretty village, lovely place to stay and get some r & r. Excellent venue for a wedding or engagement/anniversary/birthday party etc.

I usually have my takeaways from here as they are consistently excellent. Last week four of us went to the Banquet evening, which is on a Wednesday. It isn't well advertised but costs £14.95 for a starter, main course, side dish and a choice of rice or naan bread. We all found the food to be excellent. It was hot and so tasty. The waiter was friendly and helpful with the menu. The restaurant is lovely and the meals are all served in stylish white china dishes on a linen tablecloth. It is a shame that more people don't take advantage of the lovely food. Definitely one of the best curry houses I have used.

So far only had takeaway or delivery but this place was recommended to us by a friend and as dubious as I was to try somewhere new, I’m so glad we did not one dish has disappointed us, always great flavours and they never deviate. Staff are brilliant and are also good at following instructions for delivery.

Quite a sweary place with men shouting at live sports and a lot of toxic masculinity. However the locals are friendly, good beers including ales on draft and a pool table. The only pub left in central Borough Green now that the Red Lion turned into flats and the station pub into a Sainsbury's.

Just had the most amazing meal for my birthday with the family. They have been so accommodating and the food was absolutely amazing. We all had different and everyone said how lovely the meal was. The staff were so friendly and on point. It was so busy too but it was so cosy and relaxed we didn't have to wait at all between meals considering how many of us there was. We are not that local but will definitely be going back again. We'll worth the journey out. Thanks again for the perfect birthday meal xx

The staff at the moat are friendly, the food is very good and prices are ok. The wait was longer than I'd expect and we had to find someone to order coffees before our meal. I would return on a less hectic day as this was just before Christmas and they may have had a member of staff off or something so will definitely return as overall I left with a positive experience

The Moat itself is the perfect winter wedding venue, it’s cosy yet spacious , beautifully decorated and the food is incredible! They aren’t phased by dietary requirements or tailoring the day to the individuals. If you are engaged, get to the Moat for a tour and book your perfect day! Prices are very competitive, and the accommodation is perfect too. No need to go anywhere, the whole day is effortlessly hosted on site from start to finish. Thank you again for giving us special memories of our perfect day! And even better, we can return for our anniversary celebrations in the future to dine in your equally wonderful restaurant! Went for a family meal to celebrate my birthday… food was fantastic, including my vegetarian dish. Service excellent, staff polite and friendly. Had my two young grandchildren with us on Friday evening and they were welcomed and catered for. Really can’t fault the evening and will most definitely return … infact planning to re visit very soon.

I've been coming yo this restaurant since it first opened in the early 80's my parents where in fact there very first customers, I've had meny meals here both eat in and take away never had any bad food obviously some are better than others but the food has always been very good staff are friendly and place is spotless I've never had to complain in over 40 years .

We love the Raj and enjoy eating there whenever we visit our friends in Sevenoaks. The food and service are outstanding.
