Super tasty, yummy food cooked by Luca himself who we got to meet in person - as he served us our order. What a nice and friendly guy. We ordered the original and BBQ burgers with cheesy fries - yum, yum yum! Quick and efficient service. Fairly priced too - thank you. We'll be back 😃

We visited Luca's after seeing a post on Facebook. The food tasted amazing, the smash burgers were a good size( did I mention they tasted amazing😁) and house fries were plentiful. They were accompanied by coleslaw and potato salad which were both excellent. The ordering process was very straightforward with lots of options to choose to have your burger just as you'd want it. The price point was very good, not much more costly than the national burger chains but the quality of the food was far better than these. The chef coming out for a quick chat and to check our meal was okay was a nice touch, and he seemed like a genuine, nice guy. We will definitely be returning and I would suggest if you like excellent quality food at a good price, you pay Luca's a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Had our first try of Luca's and it is out of this world. The freshness and quality of the food was top notch, me and my partner both thoroughly enjoyed our burgers, both saying how its the best burger we've had in a very long time. The choices we had for loaded fries was overwhelming, in a good way! We opted for the Pulled Chicken and Gravy and the Fried Chicken, they certainly did not disappoint. Paired with the most delicious sauces you just have to try. We would 100% recommend everyone to eat here and will be returning soon! This is a unique eatery that the town was calling out for, high quality, good price and amazing taste. Thanks for the meal, 10/10 all round!

The food we ordered was amazing, we will definitely be returning. Best burger place in Ashford! Just wish they did milkshakes! Burger was delicious , proper tasty. The Chicken strips were tender and juicy, proper chicken, how it should be not like KFC and McDonald’s! Onion rings were nice and crispy not greasy at all. Me and two of my friends went to this restaurant tonight. This was my first ever experience of this cuisine, and it was amazing. I had the beef suya with jollof rice. Food was perfectly cooked, tender, tasted incredible and succulent. Very polite staff who provided an amazing service. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with great music at perfect volume. The drinks served were great too. Fantastic price for the amazing quality of food we received. I will be coming here again and have recommend to others.

Amazing authentic food cooked with love. 10/10 I had the mixed meat pepper soup with plantain Fufu and more plantain. Meat was incredibly tender, succulent and flavourful, the broth had great depth with an unmissable scotch-bonet-pepper-kick. Amazing value and friendly staff.

I recently hosted a birthday party for my husband at Jay’s Soul Food, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely amazing – every dish was packed with rich flavors and truly captured that authentic African food taste we were looking for. From the starter to the main dishes , everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The customer service was also top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and they made us feel so welcome and valued. They were attentive, friendly, and really helped make the celebration special. I highly recommend Jay’s Soul Food for any gathering or meal – it’s a fantastic spot for great food and exceptional service.

Never knew in a million times I would find a good African restaurant in Kent. Just decided to take an adventurous travel down here and I enjoyed it🥺. The customer service was 11/10 and the food omggg it was great as well. I order the pounded yam and egusi soup and it was everything I expected, tried the efo riro as well and it didn’t disappoint. Had to get a takeout for more food. There is a bar as well if you wanna have fun all day. Definitely coming back for more. Thanks Aunty!

We ate here for the first time today and it was absolutely amazing! Everything we tried tasted perfectly balanced and packed with flavour. This is our new favourite restaurant in Ashford by far and we will definitely return soon!

A fantastic family favourite with excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, we visit at least once a week! Stubbs is hands down our favourite restaurant, and it's no surprise that we make a point of visiting at least once a week. The combination of excellent food, friendly staff, and a wonderful setting makes it a place we always look forward to returning to. What sets Stubbs apart is the consistently high quality of everything on the menu. Whether you’re looking for fish, lobster, steak, or a burger, every dish is faultless and always cooked to perfection. The cocktails and Guinness are always served exactly as they should be. One of the things we appreciate most is that you can order anything off the menu and know it will always be nice. The staff are another reason we keep coming back. Eva, the main hostess, deserves a special mention for the warm and welcoming impression she gives at the entrance. She works incredibly hard to ensure that every guest is happy, and her efforts don’t go unnoticed. Lucio, one of the waiters, is always cheerful, professional, and friendly, making every meal even more enjoyable. While Stubbs can get extremely busy even on weekdays, it’s not uncommon to see every table full, along with several large groups of twelve or more people. We’ve dined here both as a couple and as a family, and even though weekends can be noisy and bustling, (my youngest prefers the quieter weekday visits.) However, we are always happy to dine here, no matter the day, as there’s always a great mix of people and families. A standout feature of Stubbs is the absence of any "discretionary" service charge, which we often see added to the bill at some other restaurants. We always try to tip the staff generously because we recognise how hard they work under pressure to ensure everything runs smoothly in such a busy environment but it's so nice for you to have the choice of your own. When choosing foor our favourites are the starters of brie and toast, and tempura prawns, followed by the steak with peppercorn sauce and the Blues Burger often with a side of lobster. For dessert, we often choose choclate cake or the ice cream with brandy snap basket. We have also tried many cocktails here and the Mojito is one of our favourites. Whenever we've had a challenging week, we head straight to Stubbs for a meal that never fails to lift our spirits and round off the week on a high note. We can’t wait for our next visit!

One of the best places in Ashford to have a nice meal. Portion sizes are generous and food is well cooked. The service is excellent with friendly, helpful staff. One thing I like is that the service charge is not automatically added to your bill. They don't really need to because the staff work hard and so deserve the tip. I had no problem adding it to my final total. Decor is good and makes for a nice atmosphere and relaxing lunch vibe. I will definitely be back.

Everything about this place was welcoming and 5 star. I’ve driven past for work many times and always wanted to go. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was 5 star, I had the beef roast and my partner the belly pork. Really decent Malbec too! They gave my floor a free ice cream which kept him happy while we ate. I will absolutely be back!

A nice warm welcome for our group of 40 for lunch which was kindly accommodated in the pub because of the rain when it had been expected that we would be outside. Food was served promptly, was a nice selection and there was the right amount. Really good experience.

What a lovely place this is! We had their brand new roast dinner yesterday (08/09/2024) and it was the first day of their new menu and it was superb. Incredible feast like roast dinner with lots of brilliant options. Delicious. The service was second to none, couldn't do enough for us. Kind, chatty, made multiple efforts to pop over for a chat and really thoughtful too - they gave both our dogs an ice cream pot each. Cannot wait to return!!!

We called in by chance as we were passing on a walk and were delighted with what we found. Beautiful interior with log fire and tasteful seasonal decorations. Very warm welcome from landlady and staff and delicious well priced menu. Chef had made a seafood chowder that morning and we were lucky enough to have the first two portions. Puddings were unusual and delicious - Xmas pudding creme brulee was actual Xmas pudding in a creme brulee with crispy top just as it should be! Highly recommended.

To our delight, the food arrived promptly, piping hot, and without the usual long wait times. It certainly feels like there's been a change in management, and if so, they're off to an excellent start. Wishing the new team every success – we'll definitely be back!

This pub is a hidden gem. It is walking distance from the outlet shopping centre and fairly close to the Centre of Ashford. You wouldn't know it on approach but this pub has a serene riverside beer garden, traditional seating inside and a new (at time of writing) play area for kids. The food was excellent. We stopped for a lunchtime snack. Between us we had a fish finger wrap, a sausage baguette and the Cajun chicken and bacon salad. The salad was amazing with tender and flavoursome chicken. The staff were friendly, calm and couldn't be more helpful.

Brilliant service and amazing quality produce. The lunch set menu is a steal for the quality of food offered here. We were looked after very well and the place was quite clean. The Italian vegetarian options were offered well and enjoyed the lasagne. The wine option by glasses could cover quite a bit more options, that was the only blip. Other than that, everything was fab!

Fantastic food and service, great choice. The only drawback is their deserts. Presentation fantastic but expected more from tiramisu ( my favourite desert ever) , it's sort of watery & tasteless. I've tried my hubby's cheesecake and would say the same - not much taste either. Everything else as I said just delicious

What a wonderful restaurant. Kenny and your staff should win awards for such excellent food and superb service. We visited on the first night after a friends recommendation and had a really wonderful meal. My wife left her sunglasses on the table so we returned on the second night we were in Ashford for another wonderful meal. Thank you so much for your service and attention to detail. We dined here twice as first experience was very awesome as they were fully booked when we called but they took the time to call us back when they had a slot available and we had a late night dinner as we had no one place to go. When we arrived the food was awesome and we tried most of the options on the menu and the food was amazing hence we came back for lunch the following day. My friends will also be sharing their experience here soon. I have attached photos from my order. Must try is the C Momos and Chicken Biryani.

We had a great meal here. The service and food here is amazing. The young lady who was serving us was really sweet and mindful. The food we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend goat curry and rice, steamed momo and Thupka. I only wish the curry was a bit more. They even gave us some discount on the overall bill. Cleanliness and hygiene were other two things which were top notch. Highly recommended.

Boyfriend and I dined here last night and WOW!! The food and service were both excellent. The young lad who served us was absolutely lovely. Food was absolutely 10/10. I forgot to photo the goat thali but it was better than most we had in Nepal! And the Pani Puri was to die for 😍❤️. Will be back!!!!

First time coming here and was lovely, the new decor was very nice and staff were great recommending dishes to try. The food was lovely very authentic, and delicious. Highly recommend and may need to book in advance.

All in all, it was a pleasant experience. Food was nicer than expected and reasonably priced. Service was on point, although it was fairly quiet when we went.

I recently enjoyed a Christmas menu meal with some friends, and it was a wonderful experience.I was happy with the delicious vegan options on the menu and my friends thoroughly enjoyed their non vegan options. The food was cooked very well. The waitresses were attentive, cheerful, and incredibly helpful, ensuring we all felt welcome and well taken care of even with my requests of extra gravy! Each course arrived quickly at the perfect time, with no rush but a lovely flow to the evening. We all had a fantastic time.

The first time I've been here in a few years ,it was ok. The food was abit pricey and I wasn't a fan of the chips because they seem like they were cooked in a fryer? (tasted fatty) but were ok . Unfortunately the 2 puddings I wanted to try (my 1st and 2nd choice, not 2 puddings at once) they were out of ,and I'm not a fan of nuts , so I missed out on the brownie . But my friends had it and it looked lovely (if you like nuts), the tart ta tan also looked lovely but I had eaten too much to fit that in by that point. What I didn't realise was the nachos (specials menu) was a sharer ....but me being me , I ate it all to myself . The cocktails looked good too 👌 Plenty of parking, nice outside area and toilets were clean and nice

What a wonderful meal we had for my son in laws birthday (Ian Laws). The food was fantastic and our waitress that took the order was great (sorry never got your name). There were 10 of us and the service provided by the waiting staff Sheila and Karen was outstanding. We will definately be back and this is the best food I have had in a long time. Thanks the cheese melt was fantastic and I enjoyed the pate as well. Two people had the sirloin roast dinner and loved it. They catered for all tastes and everyone enjoyed their meals. Thanks again.

Had some lovely food here a few times this week! Not expensive at all, 2 drinks and a rib eye steak for less than £30. Ellie was a great barmaid!

We had a lovely 2 course meal with a glass of wine including breakfast as part of a Premier inn deal when we stayed on Saturday night. Mixed grill and breakfast were very very good. Everything cooked perfectly on a hot plate & nicely presented. We also had a couple of cheeky Stellas in the afternoon looking out the window near the bar as storm Bert hit. Really pleasant experience.

Amazing service. Went there for dinner and our server Phoebe could not have been more helpful and nice. All our food was served in a timely manner and my steak was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was very chilled despite a fair number of people being there. I will definitely be returning.
