“The service I received from the staff was honestly amazing they very kind and informative in helping me get certain food items from their menu. The food itself was really nice, especially the jollof rice and meat pies. However the food at the time did arrive somewhat cold so that did dampen my experience a little.”

“I’ve been a regular customer of Smokeys for over 5 years now. The food has always been consistent in quality, flavour and presentation. I disagree with some of the reviews on here and can say that Smokeys is one of the best restaurants in Canterbury when it comes to chicken. I recommend Smokeys if you’re looking for a fair priced meal for top quality food, food is always up to standards!”

“I was pleasantly surprised to stumble on this excellent vegan restaurant. The staff was friendly and described what was available to me. The mushroom Wellington was excellent, and the roast vegetables were nicely accompanied by a mildly spicy sauce. So it is a five-star from me - which I give out rarely”

Smoking Brunch
Robinsons Foundry, Broad Oak Rd, Canterbury CT2 7QG, UK

“Had the Hot honey chicken burger but chose sriracha and chipotle aioli as the sauces instead of the hot honey. Whilst the people I was with had the regular smash burgers. It was probably the most flavourful chicken burger I’ve ever had, I don’t usually go for chicken burgers from fast food joints as it’s always dry, but theirs was so succulent, the sauces were so tasty. The tomato and veg in the burger were so fresh. I highly recommend this burger if you come here. The people I was with had smash burgers and both said it was the best burgers they’ve had. I had to agree big time. The cheese fries were heavenly too. Staff extremely nice and helpful, couldn’t have asked for a better experience and food. Highly recommend this place. (Merry Christmas to you too! Have a good one!)”

“My family had a lovely lunch here when visiting Canterbury over the bank holiday. We weren't sure where to eat but after quickly searching online we settled for this place as it seemed to have good reviews and now we can see why! We enjoyed every dish that we ordered and the flavours were on point!! The meat was not dry, it was very juicy and well seasoned. The staff was super friendly and the dishes were decently priced as well. The portion sizes were good and was also presented beautifully. We ordered the bread and hummus, lamb ribs, mixed meat, and chicken wings which also came with some cous cous and salad with a lovely dressing. Would definitely come back if we're ever back in Canterbury which is likely as my family is still talking about this place after the one visit. Thank you so much! :D”
