I cannot recommend Mary highly enough. We originally asked her to help our son with English Language because we were concerned that his grades were continually falling over time. However, her tuition also helped improve his English Literature work in the process, and they ended up being his two highest GCSE grades. Mary was friendly and professional throughout and we could see a noticeable improvement in our son’s ability and confidence in the subject from the start.

Mary has been amazing with our son. Her firm but compassionate approach has not only improved his grades drastically but his confidence has rocketed. My children are really enjoying their classes with Mary. They find her explanations clear & easy to follow. They love the notes she takes during the class. This helps them concentrate during the lesson and go back over things afterwards when they need to apply what they have learnt. Mary has a great balance of being warm and friendly yet firm enough that the children listen and know they are to take their studies seriously if they want to progress and achieve. Mary really knows her subject so well and we feel very blessed for our children to be learning from such a great teacher.

Tried the ionic bonding quiz which was exactly the right level

A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

I’ve had many English tutors throughout my GCSE studies but Emma has by far been the best one, she has helped me increase my grades in English by an incredible 5 grades in the short time she taught me (from my year 10 mock to my actual GCSE’s!). Emma gave me great advice on how to approach exam style questions including how to efficiently answer questions. Emma was able to identify exactly what I struggled with in English which I didn’t even know my self and worked on that issue which ultimately lead to me getting a grade 8 in English language. Emma is such an incredible teacher I would highly recommend her lessons!

Without Emma, I could never have achieved a grade 9 in both English literature and language. Before starting my tutoring, my grades were at 6’s and 7’s and I didn’t know what I could do better to improve them. But once Emma started tutoring me, I began to discover my strengths and weaknesses. She increased my confidence and is incredibly supportive and kind. She is an exceptional tutor and I am 100% positive that anyone who chooses her to tutor them, will definitely improve their grades and confidence in English.

Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams. Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. Excellent mock test experience with Tutor World. We prepared for the Kent test at home and took two mock tests (both during few months before the real exams). These mock tests have greatly helped to solidify confidence and gave a motivational boost. It also helped my daughter to practice controlling her nerves on the real test day and experience exam-like environment. She was able to achieve excellent score in the Kent test. I have recently finished my 1st aid and Door supervisor course with these guys and couldn’t be happier. The premises are great for training and the staff couldn’t be any nicer. The training was spot on for my capability’s and the course work was also manageable. I made some great friends on the course who I know I will keep in touch with. My main shout out is to Brenda-Lee. The lady is my idol. Amazing teacher with so much knowledge in her field and maybe one day I’ll be even half as good as her. Steve also was fantastic and can’t forget Ansuhka who makes sure everything is right behind the scenes. I will absolutely be back for the add ons and top ups.

Level 3 emergency first aid at work. I'm a visual learner and was worried about "death by power point" but Steve explains the information clearly and makes sure you understand before moving on to the next stage. The demonstrations are done step by step to and the reasons given are explained. I have more confidence from today's course than I did previously. Thanks Steve

You can tell that the trainer is actually really passionate about first aid and was very diligent but also personable and friendly. I had a lot of questions that he answered happily and in depth. Very happy with my training and would definitely go back to Onnpoint if I wanted additional qualifications!

I would highly recommend Jeni from Sunnydene! My daughter was preparing for the Kent test and my friend had recommended Jeni for Mock tests (we already had a tutor by this point). The mock tests ran very smoothly, the feedback was very helpful and valuable. We focused on the feedback provided and the second mock test result showed a massive improvement on my daughter’s scores! Being relatively new to Kent I found the whole selective system and Kent Test process somewhat overwhelming, but Jeni completely demystified it and made it all feel more manageable.
