Even though my son joined just before last month's test, I am very glad for what Ruvini did for him. I enrolled him for a mock test, and afterward, Ruvini clearly identified my son's weak areas. She explained exactly which areas he needed to improve and provided excellent guidance on how to do so. She also went over the topics with him, giving extra lessons to reinforce his understanding. I would highly recommend Jeni from Sunnydene! My daughter was preparing for the Kent test and my friend had recommended Jeni for Mock tests (we already had a tutor by this point). The mock tests ran very smoothly, the feedback was very helpful and valuable. We focused on the feedback provided and the second mock test result showed a massive improvement on my daughter’s scores! Kate is a very experienced tutor in Sittingbourne. Both my children were tutored by her in preparation for the Kent test. I can highly recommend her. My children were tutored in small groups of up to 4 children. They were matched with similar ability children so they could learn at the pace best suited to their needs.

Kate has tutored all 3 of my children and they all enjoyed their time in Kate's lessons. All 3 did exceptionally well in their 11+ tests and this allowed them to all go to the local Grammar Schools. We have been attending the centre since June 2021. Mr and Mrs Awan provide a calm, productive work environment and are very patient, there is a genuine sincerity in their care. The work is mainly computer based in small groups and lessons are designed for a student’s individual ability and aimed to build confidence as they progress. Mr and Mrs Awan have brilliant learning techniques and help students to understand how to answer questions correctly. The centre can cater for helping students study towards the Kent test but are also very helpful to students with learning difficulties who may need extra support. Mr and Mrs Awan share years of teaching experience in schools but now provide this tutoring programme which is reassuring for students and parents. I thoroughly recommend this centre.

Mr and Mrs Awan have been such amazing teachers to my children! I cannot recommend them highly enough..fast forward 2022 when my kids started their lessons I had no hope that they would want to continue, but I’m filled with so much joy to see how they have grown in confidence with their school work in this short space and it’s all thanks to Mr and Mrs Awan love, patience and dedication to what they do. So pleased with the tutoring my children receive at Kip McGrath Canterbury. Since joining in July my son and daughter have progressed a huge amount. At the end of half term my daughter received the Head teachers award for progress made which I believe was thanks to the consistent support received at Kip McGrath Canterbury. My daughter’s confidence has grown, now she tackles tasks which she would have been too scared to attempt. My son has just moved onto secondary and the classes really help him to build up his confidence and knowledge in his weaker areas. Mr and Mrs Awan are also very kind, approachable, helpful and provide a calm supportive environment for children to learn. Kip McGrath Canterbury is an excellent choice for flexible tutoring and I am so pleased I made the choice for my children.

My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

Richard was great to speak too, gave brilliant feedback, and just helped my daughter take that extra step. He gave her confidence, and his message to her just resonated with her brilliantly. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.

Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. She and my son had had lessons with Vicky before (in yr6) so I felt confident she’d be the perfect person to give my daughter (yr10) the boost she needed. She had weekly lessons with Vicky up until going through her GCSEs and the change in her attitude towards learning and also her confidence in her own abilities has been seriously dramatic in the last few months. Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams.
