Grand tutors is an excellent tutoring school. My son attended the school for only 7 weeks during the Summer holiday, and then went on to pass the 11 plus with a high score. Grand tutors gave my son the tools and the knowledge to pass the Grammar test on a very short time scale. The tutor is dedicated to her pupils and always gives encouragement and praise. My son enjoyed every lesson and was always keen to attend his next class. He also won the end of year 11 plus Mock exam , and is now achieving well above his expected levels in Maths and English at his Junior school. This is all thanks to the brilliant teaching skills that is given to all pupils at Grand tutors. Thank you Grand Tutors, from a very happy parent.

Rosie is an excellent teacher. She was very patient, gave the kids time to learn & understand things. Rosie did not only teach but she also encouraged the kids to do their best with her motivational speeches. My son learnt a lot, became confident in doing his homework, happy to attend his lessons, and finally got into his grammar school of choice. All this within a short time would not have happened if we did not meet Rosie. Dynamics 11+ tuition is just the best. Thank you Rosie.

Rosie is a brilliant tutor, my daughter loved going to her because she is exceptionally kind and patient, and she really helped her improve in all areas of the 11+ study. My daughter passed the 11+ with a score in the top 180, which is down to the tutoring she received from Rosie. Now my son is studying with her too! Paul has been working with our daughter on maths GCSE for the past couple of months with the aim of getting her from a grade 2/3 to a grade 4. The progress she has made has been remarkably, we await to see what grade she gets, but I have no doubt had we had more time she would have been able to have got a grade 5/6. She really enjoyed the lessons and found the way Paul teaches maths made a very difficult subject seem normal. Paul showed an understanding and caring approach towards our daughter with the normal day to day pressures that a 15-year-old kid is under with exams looming. I can recommend Paul with the upmost confidence to be able to support and grow your children’s knowledge in maths. Thanks Paul.

Paul is professional and is focussed on planning the lessons by identifying my son’s needs. He has made a big difference to my son’s confidence and his enthusiasm towards learning, and he always comes out of the class smiling! Both of my children have had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mr and Mrs Awan. They were caring, kind and encouraging and our children loved going. Our initial reason for going was to help them with their general school work. At Kip McGrath they got the individual attention that they needed to improve and were also gently nudged to make sure that they pushed out of their comfort zone to achieve more than they thought possible. We soon saw the benefits at school. They also supported our children in the run into Kent Test. Again they helped without making our children feel pressured. So pleased with the tutoring my children receive at Kip McGrath Canterbury. Since joining in July my son and daughter have progressed a huge amount. At the end of half term my daughter received the Head teachers award for progress made which I believe was thanks to the consistent support received at Kip McGrath Canterbury. My daughter’s confidence has grown, now she tackles tasks which she would have been too scared to attempt. My son has just moved onto secondary and the classes really help him to build up his confidence and knowledge in his weaker areas. Mr and Mrs Awan are also very kind, approachable, helpful and provide a calm supportive environment for children to learn. Kip McGrath Canterbury is an excellent choice for flexible tutoring and I am so pleased I made the choice for my children.

We have been attending the centre since June 2021. Mr and Mrs Awan provide a calm, productive work environment and are very patient, there is a genuine sincerity in their care. The work is mainly computer based in small groups and lessons are designed for a student’s individual ability and aimed to build confidence as they progress. Mr and Mrs Awan have brilliant learning techniques and help students to understand how to answer questions correctly. The centre can cater for helping students study towards the Kent test but are also very helpful to students with learning difficulties who may need extra support. Mr and Mrs Awan share years of teaching experience in schools but now provide this tutoring programme which is reassuring for students and parents. I thoroughly recommend this centre.

Without Emma, I could never have achieved a grade 9 in both English literature and language. Before starting my tutoring, my grades were at 6’s and 7’s and I didn’t know what I could do better to improve them. But once Emma started tutoring me, I began to discover my strengths and weaknesses. She increased my confidence and is incredibly supportive and kind. Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts.
