Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. She and my son had had lessons with Vicky before (in yr6) so I felt confident she’d be the perfect person to give my daughter (yr10) the boost she needed. She had weekly lessons with Vicky up until going through her GCSEs and the change in her attitude towards learning and also her confidence in her own abilities has been seriously dramatic in the last few months. Now she’s actually really looking forward to getting her GCSE results!! I’ve already put my son on Vicky’s list to give him a boost as he starts yr11. I’ll be forever grateful and can’t recommend Vicky enough, education is so important and Vicky teaches in a patient and empowering way!

Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

My children are really enjoying their classes with Mary. They find her explanations clear & easy to follow. They love the notes she takes during the class. This helps them concentrate during the lesson and go back over things afterwards when they need to apply what they have learnt. Mary has a great balance of being warm and friendly yet firm enough that the children listen and know they are to take their studies seriously if they want to progress and achieve. Mary really knows her subject so well and we feel very blessed for our children to be learning from such a great teacher.

I cannot recommend Mary highly enough. We originally asked her to help our son with English Language because we were concerned that his grades were continually falling over time. However, her tuition also helped improve his English Literature work in the process, and they ended up being his two highest GCSE grades. Mary was friendly and professional throughout and we could see a noticeable improvement in our son’s ability and confidence in the subject from the start.

Mary is an excellent tutor and I thoroughly recommend her.  My daughter has made wonderful progress since she started having lessons with her. Her own daughter was home educated and is currently studying at Cambridge University which highlights the standard of her teaching. Mary also has experience working with students who are dyslexic with great results.  I would not hesitate in choosing her to tutor my child.

Both my son and I were made to feel welcome on day 1. He went for the week long tutoring before the Kent test the week before the test itself. My son said he had a great time by the time Friday came and it didn’t feel like a school session at all they played games and had fun all through the week. After the test itself he stated he was so glad he had had this opportunity to practise as it made the test feel a lot easier. A weekly lesson has proved massively beneficial for my daughter. She started in September and, as I saw her confidence grow, and her Maths and English improve, we decided to continue for the rest of the school year. To our delight she was top in her year for maths homework, she was no where near this at the beginning. It was a real pinch myself moment! Her English too has improved, this extends into other subjects, making lessons all round better for her. She was not keen to go at first but as soon as she had her first lesson she was all in. Rowena has tutored my daughter for 13 months and she successfully passed her 11+ and taken her ISEB exams. Rowena was very good at identifying areas of improvement and bought along additional materials like practise papers every week. Really helpful website, all their quizs cover nearly all topics and give question requiring in depth thought and connections between topics, overall amazing and will continue to use!

A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. He really enjoys going to Kip and loves the fact his learning plan is bespoke to him and that he earns Kip points for good work. I felt my son needed more of a challenge than what he was getting at school, and the learning plan Simon has put in place for him is now doing that. Both my children attended in centre and online Compass sessions. My son completed the 11+ package and while there was frustrations with the package content and occasional online issues, the staff were always eager to help. My son had some great tutors, Taryn, Ben, Maddison are just a few that always made him feel relaxed and calm. In addition I cannot even begin to explain how much they accommodate families last minute changes or even the occasion where you have forgotten a session completely. My experience of the managers (Sian, Katie & Taryn) has been 100% positive; they are patient, polite and helpful. Both my children passed their Kent Test with good marks. Thank you 😊
