Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

Richard was great to speak too, gave brilliant feedback, and just helped my daughter take that extra step. He gave her confidence, and his message to her just resonated with her brilliantly. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.

Paul has been working with our daughter on maths GCSE for the past couple of months with the aim of getting her from a grade 2/3 to a grade 4. The progress she has made has been remarkably, we await to see what grade she gets, but I have no doubt had we had more time she would have been able to have got a grade 5/6. She really enjoyed the lessons and found the way Paul teaches maths made a very difficult subject seem normal. Paul showed an understanding and caring approach towards our daughter with the normal day to day pressures that a 15-year-old kid is under with exams looming. Tried the ionic bonding quiz which was exactly the right level

A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

Could not have asked for more for my daughter. The team in Tonbridge are absolutely amazing, great feedback and communication between tutor and parent, very welcoming and enjoyable for the children. My daughter loved the fact that on the first day she was given her own tuition satchel and stationary. Ilse was so lovely and understanding of every families own personal circumstances and very supportive. My child had 6 tuition sessions on a Saturday and a couple of full days during the summer holidays which were so valuable and I genuinely appreciate the wonderful contribution and teaching the group have provided her for the best start for secondary school. We are over the moon that she has passed! Thank you for everything! X

Update- I had no hesitation enrolling my boys at RTC following the success they had with my first. Maria was brilliant with them and gave in-depth feedback every week. Thanks also to Ilse for being welcoming and approachable. I would definitely recommend RTC! My son prepared for his 11+ under RTC and passed excellently. I particularly liked the weekly feedback and the methodical approach to covering all the required topics across a range of subjects. Also the mock exams were apt opportunities to discuss strengths and weaknesses and agree steps forward to fill the gap. Special mention to Jo and Justine, and to Steph and Jinky for seamless front of house comms. All well appreciated.

My son started tutoring with RTC in year 4 of primary school, finally finishing his time with them in the Summer holidays following year 5. During that time we have felt fully supported, with there being a focus on my son as a whole person rather than just ‘getting him through’ his 11+. We were offered sound advice which I appreciated, a kind ear from the lovely Ilse and a confidence boost from everyone he encountered. I took my son to the Tonbridge campus and Tony could not have been a more wonderful tutor in every sense. We actually really miss the sessions since he stopped.

My daughter started with the RTC (TW) in Y4, and she's finished her journey with success now. My daughter loved the weekly classes with her excellent and extremely professional tutor, Justine.. Justine was fully supportive, with her invaluable advice and guidance. I really can't recommend her enough. All the process went really smoothly, the weekly classes;the email follow-ups with content about what has been taught each week; the mock assessments; the consultations after the mock with the Tutor and the revisions. Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams. Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. I used Ben for my son Harvey who needed help with his maths GCSE. Ben also helped Harvey with chemistry too. Ben was very professional and knows his subjects. He knew exactly how Harvey was thinking and helped him tremendously. He was so encouraging, positive and patient. Being young, he knows the syllabus and techniques that are used in schools which is so helpful. Harvey's confidence really improved with Ben's help. In fact Harvey has said that Ben is the best teacher that he has ever had and makes the subject so much easier to understand.
