I used Ben for my son Harvey who needed help with his maths GCSE. Ben also helped Harvey with chemistry too. Ben was very professional and knows his subjects. He knew exactly how Harvey was thinking and helped him tremendously. He was so encouraging, positive and patient. Being young, he knows the syllabus and techniques that are used in schools which is so helpful. Harvey's confidence really improved with Ben's help. In fact Harvey has said that Ben is the best teacher that he has ever had and makes the subject so much easier to understand. Ben tutored my daughter for maths in year 11, 12 and 13. My daughter got a 9 in GCSE maths and is awaiting her A Level results. Ben has an indepth and vast understanding of maths, this enables him to clearly explain complex concepts. He takes a keen interest in pupil he is teaching and goes above and beyond to ensure that the child understands the subject in depth. He is very responsive, adapts to the needs of the pupil and happy to reschedule if needed. When my younger children are old enough I would hope that Ben can tutor them too.
