Very approachable and flexible tutors with whom our daughters studied mainly maths during Years 10 and 11. They always listened to the girls' maths/science anxieties and gave them confidence. Their approach is to teach methods and offer exam practice so our daughters had lots of different types of help. Always happy to go over mock papers they had done in class. They really did make a difference to their grades.

Our children have had Frank for Maths tuition for a number of years, and more recently the Sciences also. He made lessons fun & gave them confidence. I believe a child really needs to like someone if they're to learn well, & both my kids really like him! I am sure their recent good GCSE results reflect the quality of their learning with Frank. We used GTA for 11+ tuition. Assam was great. My daughter was a BIG fan of his teaching methods - not so much of the homework he set though! HA! She loved the lessons and found them very helpful. What I liked about most about these guys is the honest assessment of your child's abilities. On my first meeting with Shahnaz, she was very open in telling me that if she didn't think my child was capable of doing the 11+, she would tell me straight and that it would be unfair to put pressure on a child if it is clear they are not up to it. I really liked that. There was never any pressure to book lessons either. I was also very grateful for all the tips and advice Shahnaz gave me - as the parent, supporting my child's learning - which I found invaluable, especially moving forward as "it doesn't stop here" Shahnaz quite rightly said. So all-in-all, great service, I would highly recommend them.

We joined this wonderful group three years ago. My kids love the sessions. It’s quick 15 minutes but the benefits they get makes you wish it was hours long. The instructors are lovely and the coordinator is easy to reach and is open to discussing concerns/issues. Suggestions are made and plan of action is put in place right away. I don’t feel guilty if I am not reading with my child because I know they already had a reading session that day. I am lucky to have discovered Read with us. Life changer.

I have been with read with us since 2020. before I was introduced to read with us by my cousin. I had tried two different companies I must say this was a best move ever. The tutors has been extremely helpful and very professional I went to school in Africa and I struggle to teach my daughter Maths because it's done differently. This platform has offer my child with so much experiences and skills such as confidence to read to others without fear, confidence to read, pronounce words correctly as expected also have a better understanding of some words and their meaning as well as the stories he reads. His teacher Bridget is very reliable, professional, a great communicator she understands my son very well hence knows how to deal with him. Read with us is great platform for kids to develop their read information skills and confidence from 0 to 10 within months also gaining additional computer skills.

Reading with Harvey 3 times a week has been so important for my son’s education and development. When we started with Read With Us my son found reading a real challenge. He was reading way below the normal reading level for his age. Today my son’s teacher told me that he was now reading above his age group, and was doing so well he won the weekly reading Champion Competition . His reading and comprehension skills have come a long way since we started with Read With Us . I would highly recommend them.

Taran has finished tutoring one of my children and is currently working with my youngest. She provides an excellent, small classroom environment (8 max) to support their learning, very good materials and sets the right amount of homework to embed their understanding of different subjects. Taran is very personable, has excellent communication with parents including direct access via wattsapp, and my children always enjoy the sessions. Highly recommended.

Rowena has tutored my daughter for 13 months and she successfully passed her 11+ and taken her ISEB exams. Rowena was very good at identifying areas of improvement and bought along additional materials like practise papers every week. Paro tuition was recommended by a friend of mine. Faisal and his team were extremely professional . One of the tutors Karen explained all subjects in greater detail allowing each learner to learn at their own pace. A friendly environment for children to learn and excel without being pushed. My daughter excelled in all the subjects which at the beginning she had very little knowledge . She was guided and given support in subjects she found more challenging. Could not have asked for more for my daughter. The team in Tonbridge are absolutely amazing, great feedback and communication between tutor and parent, very welcoming and enjoyable for the children. My daughter loved the fact that on the first day she was given her own tuition satchel and stationary. Ilse was so lovely and understanding of every families own personal circumstances and very supportive. My child had 6 tuition sessions on a Saturday and a couple of full days during the summer holidays which were so valuable and I genuinely appreciate the wonderful contribution and teaching the group have provided her for the best start for secondary school. Both of my children attended weekly classes for about a year in the run up to the 11+. I think both of them benefitted a lot from the classes. It really helped them understand what to expect from the test and how to prepare for it, and get used to the style of questions. Thoroughly recommended.

My son started tutoring with RTC in year 4 of primary school, finally finishing his time with them in the Summer holidays following year 5. During that time we have felt fully supported, with there being a focus on my son as a whole person rather than just ‘getting him through’ his 11+. We were offered sound advice which I appreciated, a kind ear from the lovely Ilse and a confidence boost from everyone he encountered. I took my son to the Tonbridge campus and Tony could not have been a more wonderful tutor in every sense. We actually really miss the sessions since he stopped.

Update- I had no hesitation enrolling my boys at RTC following the success they had with my first. Maria was brilliant with them and gave in-depth feedback every week. Thanks also to Ilse for being welcoming and approachable. I would definitely recommend RTC! My son prepared for his 11+ under RTC and passed excellently. I particularly liked the weekly feedback and the methodical approach to covering all the required topics across a range of subjects. Also the mock exams were apt opportunities to discuss strengths and weaknesses and agree steps forward to fill the gap. Special mention to Jo and Justine, and to Steph and Jinky for seamless front of house comms. All well appreciated.

My daughter prepared her 11+ with Advantage Tuition, attended the Saturday classes and really enjoyed them. They were very organised, covered all the topics during the year, organised the homework and tests to practice at home, had mini assessments every term to evaluate their progression and they offered parent consultations. During the summer they also offered revion days and mock exams. All these really helped my daughter, and she ultimately performed well in the 11+ with a good result. Advantage Tuition - massive thank you for taking our daughter through the 11+ tests, providing her with the knowledge and confidence to pass the test and an opportunity to go to Grammar School.
