A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Rita has helped our daughter to achieve her GCSE with care and compassion and patience. In the 6 months she was tutoring our daughter she believed in her. Our daughter felt comfortable and build a rapport up with Rita. We would highly recommend her. Thank you Rita.

Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. She and my son had had lessons with Vicky before (in yr6) so I felt confident she’d be the perfect person to give my daughter (yr10) the boost she needed. She had weekly lessons with Vicky up until going through her GCSEs and the change in her attitude towards learning and also her confidence in her own abilities has been seriously dramatic in the last few months. Now she’s actually really looking forward to getting her GCSE results!! I’ve already put my son on Vicky’s list to give him a boost as he starts yr11. I’ll be forever grateful and can’t recommend Vicky enough, education is so important and Vicky teaches in a patient and empowering way!

Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Kumon is an amazing experience for my son. He has improved academically and his cognitive skills have improved significantly. His reading has also improved. Would recommend for your child.

Kumon has given a great base to my children - First to my daughter for over 8 years and now my son. Daily worksheets are manageable and makes the process of learning much easier.

Could not have asked for more for my daughter. The team in Tonbridge are absolutely amazing, great feedback and communication between tutor and parent, very welcoming and enjoyable for the children. My daughter loved the fact that on the first day she was given her own tuition satchel and stationary. Ilse was so lovely and understanding of every families own personal circumstances and very supportive. My child had 6 tuition sessions on a Saturday and a couple of full days during the summer holidays which were so valuable and I genuinely appreciate the wonderful contribution and teaching the group have provided her for the best start for secondary school. We are over the moon that she has passed! Thank you for everything! X

Update- I had no hesitation enrolling my boys at RTC following the success they had with my first. Maria was brilliant with them and gave in-depth feedback every week. Thanks also to Ilse for being welcoming and approachable. I would definitely recommend RTC! My son prepared for his 11+ under RTC and passed excellently. I particularly liked the weekly feedback and the methodical approach to covering all the required topics across a range of subjects. Also the mock exams were apt opportunities to discuss strengths and weaknesses and agree steps forward to fill the gap. Special mention to Jo and Justine, and to Steph and Jinky for seamless front of house comms. All well appreciated.

My daughter started with the RTC (TW) in Y4, and she's finished her journey with success now. My daughter loved the weekly classes with her excellent and extremely professional tutor, Justine.. Justine was fully supportive, with her invaluable advice and guidance. I really can't recommend her enough. All the process went really smoothly, the weekly classes;the email follow-ups with content about what has been taught each week; the mock assessments; the consultations after the mock with the Tutor and the revisions. And of course, a huge thanks to the front team : Stephanie, Jinky, and Ilse. They have been highly supportive,very friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much for such a caring, perfect environment.

My son started tutoring with RTC in year 4 of primary school, finally finishing his time with them in the Summer holidays following year 5. During that time we have felt fully supported, with there being a focus on my son as a whole person rather than just ‘getting him through’ his 11+. We were offered sound advice which I appreciated, a kind ear from the lovely Ilse and a confidence boost from everyone he encountered. I took my son to the Tonbridge campus and Tony could not have been a more wonderful tutor in every sense. We actually really miss the sessions since he stopped.

My two daughters were tutored by Kate & she was excellent with them. Always supporting them & adjusting her teaching style to their individual needs. They are now at grammar school. Kate is extremely approachable, flexible in her teaching style & will readily accommodate every type of learner. Cannot recommend Kate enough!

I can highly recommend Kate not only a lovely lady but she is a very experienced tutor. My daughter was tutored by Kate in preparation for the Kent test in small groups of up to 4 children. My daughter found Kate really supportive, kind and helpful and the sessions were adapted to support her in the areas that she needed most.

Kate is a very experienced tutor in Sittingbourne. Both my children were tutored by her in preparation for the Kent test. I can highly recommend her. My children were tutored in small groups of up to 4 children. They were matched with similar ability children so they could learn at the pace best suited to their needs.

Mary is an excellent tutor and I thoroughly recommend her.  My daughter has made wonderful progress since she started having lessons with her. Her own daughter was home educated and is currently studying at Cambridge University which highlights the standard of her teaching. Mary also has experience working with students who are dyslexic with great results.  I would not hesitate in choosing her to tutor my child.

My children are really enjoying their classes with Mary. They find her explanations clear & easy to follow. They love the notes she takes during the class. This helps them concentrate during the lesson and go back over things afterwards when they need to apply what they have learnt. Mary has a great balance of being warm and friendly yet firm enough that the children listen and know they are to take their studies seriously if they want to progress and achieve. Mary really knows her subject so well and we feel very blessed for our children to be learning from such a great teacher.

Having lessons with Mary has been really helpful. She is knowledgeable about the syllabus and what will be expected and has given concrete advice about how the children can improve their writing. I cannot recommend Mary highly enough. We originally asked her to help our son with English Language because we were concerned that his grades were continually falling over time. However, her tuition also helped improve his English Literature work in the process, and they ended up being his two highest GCSE grades. Mary was friendly and professional throughout and we could see a noticeable improvement in our son’s ability and confidence in the subject from the start.
