Very approachable and flexible tutors with whom our daughters studied mainly maths during Years 10 and 11. They always listened to the girls' maths/science anxieties and gave them confidence. Their approach is to teach methods and offer exam practice so our daughters had lots of different types of help. Always happy to go over mock papers they had done in class. They really did make a difference to their grades.

Leesa tutored my daughter through statistics and maths GCSE. Despite having to get up early on a Saturday morning, my daughter very much enjoyed working with Leesa, who helped to improve her confidence and ability, supporting her to pass both subjects. Now keen to signing up child number 2!

My children are really enjoying their classes with Mary. They find her explanations clear & easy to follow. They love the notes she takes during the class. This helps them concentrate during the lesson and go back over things afterwards when they need to apply what they have learnt. Mary has a great balance of being warm and friendly yet firm enough that the children listen and know they are to take their studies seriously if they want to progress and achieve. Mary really knows her subject so well and we feel very blessed for our children to be learning from such a great teacher.

Mary is an excellent tutor and I thoroughly recommend her.  My daughter has made wonderful progress since she started having lessons with her. I have known Sarah for over 20 years and I've had the pleasure of working with her for 6 of those years. Sarah has a real passion for teaching; she is a driven, organised teacher who uses her vast subject knowledge to plan for children's individual needs in order for them to achieve their full potential. She is a very respectful and caring person who you can always rely upon. I have no reservation in giving Sarah my highest recommendation as a tutor.

A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams. Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Both of my children have had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mr and Mrs Awan. They were caring, kind and encouraging and our children loved going. Our initial reason for going was to help them with their general school work. So pleased with the tutoring my children receive at Kip McGrath Canterbury. Since joining in July my son and daughter have progressed a huge amount. At the end of half term my daughter received the Head teachers award for progress made which I believe was thanks to the consistent support received at Kip McGrath Canterbury. Richard has been great with my daughter. She isn’t the most confident mathematician but Richard has been working patiently with her and I am starting to see her confidence being to grow. I would definitely recommend Mr.C’s.

I have a child diagnosed with ADHD. Richard was accommodating, a pleasure to deal with, friendly and professional and my kid bounced into every lesson with a positive attitude.
