We had the most amazing wedding day at Preston court! The venue and team exceeded our expectations! Not only is the venue the most beautiful and unique place with lots to explore, the team is beyond incredible! We’d name everyone but there isn’t a single person that wasn’t giving their everything making our day perfect. Not only can they party like hero’s, they also got a German and British audience organised and entertained throughout the entire day. Everyone still talks about our wedding day and all the different, fun, quirky, exciting and just „out of the box“ moments. If you want a unique wedding, filled with laughter, good vibes, spectacular picture / video material and simply the best memories, you better book a date at Preston court. We’ve done all our wedding planning remotely from Germany and we couldn’t thank the team enough. Wow, what a fantastic venue! We fell in love with Preston Court the moment we viewed it and having our wedding here was the best decision we ever made! The place is just truly magical. It's cool, quirky, the grounds are beautiful and Jess, Isaac and the team made sure the whole day ran smoothly from start to finish. Everything was perfect- from our ceremony on the island, the uniqueness of the barn, the fun of the carousel, our first dance outside under the canopy of lights and finishing the day glamping with our closest friends and family. I could talk for hours about how fantastic everything at Preston Court was but I’ll run through the highlights. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, with every little detail considered. The team all brought their A-game! Jess who was corresponding with us in the lead-up was helpful and attentive. The coordinators on the day Emma and Dawn were fantastic, knowing the stresses we would be going through and taking all the responsibility away from us to let us enjoy our day. They knew the vibe we wanted to create and matched it perfectly. Lizzy was a dream! Professional but so friendly, I don’t think we ever heard a single “no” to a request. I cannot give them high enough praise! The whole team at Preston Court were there at every step of the process but never felt like they were getting in the way. All our guests were amazed by the venue, the carousel, the food, and the vibes. Thank you Preston Court, you were the perfect choice!

We celebrated our wedding at Preston Court in May - what a beautiful and magnificent place to get married! Not only is the setting stunning, but what really makes it is the amazing team. Before the day Jess was brilliant, answering our many, many questions, nothing seemed too much trouble, and she definitely put us at ease. The whole process, which can seem overwhelming was made so much easier with their help, and they really do think of everything! On the day Jess and Nuta (and the rest of the team) were fantastic, making sure everything was set-up and in place, and even holding umbrellas so we didn’t get soaked. We also had a live band and there were no issues with them performing with the sound limiter, they sounded great! Even with the rain we had a perfect day, the carousel was so much fun and the barn is gorgeous. We had so many comments from guests about the venue. We are so grateful to Preston Court, thank you!

My wedding was wonderful and better than we could have imagined. Sally our wedding coordinator did everything in her power to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted. All of the team, admin, bar staff, cleaners, gardeners, coordinators, literally everyone in the team are awesome and I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so much for all you did for us! It was great for my team and I to visit Winters Barns recently for a fun filled wedding day. The barn is decorated in a great rustic style meaning additional decor isn't needed and really sits well for sustainability and simplicity. We loved exploring the outside spaces and enjoying the pockets of space around the venue. Look forward to heading back soon

Went to my nieces wedding. The setting was beautiful. Everything in one place the ceremony, which, luckily, the weather was kind to us, and they could exchange their vows outside. The 3 couse wedding breakfast was tasty, the evening fish and chips or burger and chips was a welcomed alternative to a buffet. The service and attention to detail spot on. Would recommend 👌

Where do I start with Winters Barns?! I absolutely love everything about this place! The barns themselves are rustic and perfect for any couple looking for a countryside wedding. The gardens and fields surrounding the venue make the perfect setting for couple time. Not forgetting all the lovely staff! They make the day run so smoothly and they are just the kindest people. I booked Solton Manor to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. Prior to my stay, the team were great at responding to any queries I had. We had a wonderful weekend at the property. The dining room in particular is amazing and is even bigger than it looks in the photos! The games room was brilliant as well. It is a very grand house, perfect for celebrating something special. I would also recommend The Lantern Inn for a drink, which is walking distance from the property.

Solton Manor is such a beautiful wedding venue tucked away in the countryside near St Margrets Bay. I have had the pleasure of capturing multiple weddings a Solton Manor and it is a venue I could keep on coming back to. The beautiful manor, surrounding gardens and the amazing Dutch Barn are the perfect setting for a wedding. You also have the opportunity to get married outside underneath the gazebo. The photo opportunities are endless! I can't wait to return to Solton Manor for another wedding!

My husband and I got married at Solton Manor in April 2024 and I cannot recommend it as a venue more highly. From the moment we had our first meeting with Karen and Jackie we knew this was the venue for us; their warmth and passion really came through, and we left feeling that they would do anything to make our wedding day special and unique for us. And they did! The team at Solton Manor are absolutely brilliant, and couldn't have done more for us both leading up to the wedding and on the day. Everyone commented on how stunning the venue is and how friendly the staff were. We also stayed in the Manor House on the night of the wedding with our families, and it is just beautiful, and lovely to have a relaxed breakfast there the morning after the wedding! Also Invitca caterers based at Solton Manor are incredible - the food was sensational, everyone loved it, and Teresa was so lovely to work with. We cannot thank everyone at Solton Manor enough for making it the most special day of our lives, we are forever grateful 💖

Solton Manor was just the most perfect wedding venue. From the gorgeous Manor House and the impressive Dutch Barn to the charming grounds and surroundings, it was everything we wished for and more. Our guests were very impressed and even our beloved sausage dog, Frankie, was welcomed and got to be part of our special day, too! ❤️ Karen, Jackie, and their team were fantastic from start to finish. We used Thanetians for our works annual dinner for around 80 people on Friday 7 June 2019. Our theme was “The Great Gatsby” and we could not fault Thanetians they did a fantastic job in decorating our 8 tables in a black and gold theme. They really listened to what we wanted and made any additions along the way and made the room look fantastic. We were at St Augustine’s in Westgate-on-Sea and we had the Chapel. The tables looked stunning with big ostrich feathers and tall vases with led lights around the top. The table and chairs covers looked amazing really did take our breath away when we walked into the room. Thank you Nikki and Amanda for making our annual dinner brilliant.

If you’re looking for someone to style your venue and take all the stress away. Hire these guys now. We found them through our venue and went to one of these procecco and browse days. Well these guys formed my wedding. I found them, my rings and my stationary through there show room! I wanted an Autumn wonderland and they delivered! They came in the morning and when I went to check on them they needed no direction they knew what they were doing I could go upstairs and enjoy my morning stress free. When I came down for my ceremony I couldn’t believe it was the same room it looked amazing. The colours, the attention to detail, the neatness!!! Everyone of my guests were in awe and took so many photos infront of our arch! These guys know weddings. Book them tell them your vision and they will make it come true. I didn’t have a clue what flowers I wanted and let them have complete control and my bouquet and the boys pocket flowers were stunning! Chic arranged the flowers for my wedding at Hayne House and created the most beautiful bouquets and archway. They listened to my many and ever changing ideas, helping to make it a reality and put it all together. They even created mistmatched bouquets in colours that were sentimental to each bridesmaid, yet tied in with my bouquet and including all the colours and flowers that I liked. Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!

Chic were amazing! We hired them for our wedding flowers and they delivered. The consultation was perfect as Tammy listened to our vision of what we wanted. We were also able to adapt our choices as we started to have better visions as we engaged with other suppliers and saw various inspiration. The flowers lasted ages after the wedding, so the enjoyment could continue after the big day. I absoultely loved my bouquet with all the special flowers and it was great to be able to have one of my favourite flowers in there even though it was only at the start of the season. Jane and Keith are excellent to work with. There attention to detail is first class and they are a delight to work along side with as they are excellent communicators between suppliers. I recommend them both very highly.

Went here for a wedding on 15th December and had a wonderful time. It's in a nice and quiet location, not too far away from a main road but you'd never know it. We were a small party and the venue for the ceremony was nice and intimate, but they have a large hall that can house plenty for bigger events. Pleasant bar and restaurant, had local cider available and a great range of food that we could choose from. I stayed the night in a lodge with an incredibly comfy bed and warm shower, and thankfully the heating is very effective too! TV also provided with a firestick, but I fell asleep too quickly to browse xD Lovely fry up the next morning too. Special thanks to the staff who were incredibly friendly and bubbly and always willing to help. The layout of the place on a hill may present a challenge to parties with lots of less mobile people, though they have a golf buggy to help people up and down. Thanks again!

A true hidden gem. We held an Afternoon Tea in the Lounge Bar for my Mum's 80th Birthday and it was just perfect. A stunning venue and relaxing atmosphere were just what we were after. The whole team were attentive and professional whilst the food was out of this world. We were lucky enough to try the new menu - delicious! I'm now looking for an excuse to go back!

I absolutely loved photographing Jack & Izzy's Wedding at the Chapel House Estate and I cannot recommend this venue enough! Living locally to Chapel House Estate this venue has to be one of my favourites not just in Thanet but in the whole of Kent. There are endless opportunities for photographs in the gardens surrounding the main house. There are so many different options for couples no wedding is the same at this stunning venue. I can't wait to come back!

We had our company Christmas do here this year. All of us that attended had the best time, made all the better by Keeley and her team. From the minute we arrived to time we left, we were thoroughly looked after by all of the staff at Chapel House. This ticked every box for us there was a lot of brilliant attention to detail that made a very memorable night that no doubt we will all remember for time to come. Amazing service from Kent Events…. We contacted Jay back in January to organise my birthday party in July..he arranged marquee, toilets, 360 photo, catering (bbq-the burgers were insane), music, sax and bongos which were brilliant. Everyone had an amazing night.. they really took the stress out of organising a party… highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve worked with Kent Event Packages on a number of occasions and have always found them to be organised, friendly and professional, always putting on a fantastic show and meeting the client’s brief. Angie is amazing! She literally made any idea we had become reality saving us so much stress and time. We wanted something a bit different and she wasn’t in the slightest bit phased and everything fitted perfectly. The favour tags, table plan, guestbook and centre pieces were specially made for us.
