Would highly recommend. Paula at Amber Events organised our wedding reception/garden party for us in July. She is friendly and efficient and engaged with us regularly. She understood the theme we were going for and arranged all the suppliers from stretch tents, lighting, DJ to catering. Paula added zero stress in the run up to the day and on the day itself her and the team were awesome! Everyone has commented on how amazing the day was and several guests have messaged since for details on suppliers. We couldn't have done it without you Paula!

Cannot recommend Amber Events highly enough! I love hosting but when it came to my parents wedding reception in my garden I just knew it had to be special with as little stress as possible and I can honestly say that using Paula & her team was worth every penny! We had plenty of correspondence and meetings with Paula & Jo beforehand to ensure that our vision could come to life, and they offered us lots of great suggestions! We wasn’t a huge event (65 people) but we made sure every space was utilised and the timing of everything was perfect. We used the following services: • Marquee with Lights, Curtains & Dancefloor • Bar & Bar Staff (including made to order cocktails) • Private Chef & Waiting Staff • Table & Chair Hire • Glasses, Crockery, Cutlery etc Hire • Ice • DJ Everyone that came to the house was so respectful, friendly & helpful but most importantly, I had zero stress on the day – even when we thought it was going to rain, Paula was there ready with a backup plan (luckily we didn’t need to use it). And all of our guests commented on what a fantastic day/evening it was. Cannot wait for the next opportunity to use Amber Events again! Thank you so much xxx

What can I say about Amber Events, other than AMAZING! From the very start we had a good feeling about Paula and Amber Events and knew they would help take the pressure off the big day. But she takes all pressure off from the very start to the very end. Paula has so many ideas at the start of the process and made it clear that she can make it happen. Paula was helping arrange a 40th and made the party the best ever. They arranged all staff, all the entertainment, catering, cocktails, helped arrange the marquee, and just had everything covered. Anything we hadn’t thought of, Paula had. Anything we wanted, Paula made happen. We could not thank her and everyone that worked for Amber Events enough. At the start we did think about trying to arrange the events ourselves, but thankfully we allowed Amber Events to do it. We both enjoyed the party like we were simply guests like everyone else, as Paula took control and managed everything. So if you are thinking “Do I need help with an event?” The answer is YES. And there is only one place I would now go! Could not recommend highly enough!!

Paula was invaluable helping us to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday. She gave us all the right advice, plus a fantastic DJ with silent disco, bar and catering staff. She was really attentive and helped pull the event together, from recommending the correct lighting and dance floor to the plastic glasses and portaloo. The Proposers made my December proposal at Tower Bridge in London spectacular. Everything from decorating the hallway, reserving the venue, taking photos, and coordinating the proposal was super easy thanks to the wonderful team that worked with me. This made the planning process for the proposal very smooth even when I wasn’t living in the country (US-based). They also took care of the clean up of the venue so that my fiancée and I could just focus on enjoying the proposal. I cannot rate this company highly enough. Kayleigh is just wonderful. It was a pleasure to work with her on our wedding journey. She is warm, friendly and really helpful. The customer service is excellent. I really recommend visiting her showroom as the face to face experience is lovely and really assists in creating a vision. We really wanted a starlit canopy at our venue but the type we wanted hadn’t been installed there before so this was a mammoth task for Kayleigh and her team. They worked so hard to make it happen and I know a huge amount of work went on behind the scenes. She really went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and remained conscious of our budget throughout. Words really can't explain how fantastic the service from Kayleigh was throughout the process in both the preparations for, and the day of, our wedding. Kayleigh has an amazing ability to make you feel like the only couple she is working for through the whole experience. She is fantastic at listening to the "vision", sharing ideas and advice, and executing to perfection. Her responsiveness, above all else, was so helpful and reassuring when handling lots of suppliers - it really does make the difference. My only regret is that I don't have another event to use her for! If i could give 6 stars I would.

Well what can we say? Kayleigh at Pretty Events was AMAZING! We can't thank her enough for the effort she put in to making the décor at our wedding at Hall Place just perfect. From the moment we met Kayleigh at her showroom we knew we had met someone who understood us and knew the look we were aiming for and she so delivered on everything. The chair coverings, lanterns and flowers in the room where we got married looked just as we imagined/hoped it would look and the main hall for our reception was just WOW, so much so that it actually left us speechless (which is a miracle in itself as Kayleigh will confirm as we do like to talk!). Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kayleigh and for that we will always be so grateful as our day was just perfect. If we ever need any décor for a party or future event then we will definitely be calling on Kayleigh as it will be like getting in touch with a friend. We used Party Doctors to help us with a joint 18th birthday party for our daughter and her two friends. They were fantastic. From the first enquiry to the event itself they were honest, helpful, accommodating, trustworthy, professional and reliable. We had 250 guests of varying ages and Party Doctors literally created a night club in our garden. Everything from the marquee, indoor and outdoor lighting, DJ, bar, bar staff, food, toilets and security they arranged for us which took away the stress and allowed us to really enjoy the evening with our guests. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend them - they honestly are all a pleasure to work with and know how to throw an unforgettable party !

Our company has worked with Party Drs on several occasions. They are a joy to work with, creative, professional and patient. Nothing seems too much to handle, and they understood our brand and requirements very quickly, carrying this through each event. The staff themselves are great, both friendly and humourous whilst maintaining professionalism. Our recent even was a large exhibition which they took care of from start to finish. From designing our stand to completing all the paperwork and formalities with the venue. Raj and Dom took great care in making sure our stand was ready and even took over aspects that were not in their remit to ensure it met our standards. Raj, Dom and their staff took very good care of our company and customers. When our stand was extremely busy, they took the initiative to mingle with the crowd, offer drinks so our guests were not left hanging around empty handed. Even "off the clock" they assisted in arranging transport home for our stranded customers. This was just a typical example of the lengths they will go to to ensure the event is a success for their customer. We have not hesitated to book again for next year.

Such an amazing event! Party Doctor took all the stress and worry out of arranging an 18th birthday party in my garden. They kept the kids safe and they had a fabulous time. Would definitely recommend and plan to use again.

5 stars just doesn’t seem enough to leave for TOKB - from start to finish of our wedding planning journey we were looked after so well. We dealt with many members of staff with Chloe standing out to us through many email trails and meetings at the barn, she was so helpful with all our questions and explaining how to fill out our portal correctly! But… CLAIRE!!! We had Claire L as our fantastic co-ordinator on our day, and what a magical presence she was! Every step of the day was meticulously planned out with such precision and she was with us every step of the way, to ease any nerves, to hand us drink and to just make sure we were happy and having the time of our lives, which we were because The Old Kent Barn just had everything under control from start to finish. We chose the BBQ for our wedding breakfast and that along with the canapés and evening food has our guests so well fed, plus it was all so so delicious. We knew the second we got out the car on our first viewing visit to TOKB that we would get married here, and thanks to the team and the stunning venue we had the best day of our lives there. Myself and my husband married at the Old Kent Barn in October and had the best day of our lives. The staff were amazing throughout the whole process from securing a date all the way to end day after the big day. Our wedding coordinator in particular Claire was just amazing and so helpful and resourceful. As well as all this the venue was stunning everywhere you look! We would highly recommend the venue to anyone!

Being a wedding photographer myself, being spoiled with all the gorgeous countryside, the super friendly team and some of the most scrummy food, always makes the Old Kent Barn such an amazing venue to photograph at. With so many different spots to explore for pictures, it's always quite the treat, and a space where I just love photographing wedding stories! A fantastic venue!!

The were quick to respond to questions and emails and communicated with our venue as well on our behalf. They took the time to meet with us and understand what we want for our wedding. We enjoying going into the show room and seeing ideas in person. They perfectly created my vision of bright summery colours.

Came across your day events whilst browsing instagram for my baby shower. I wanted something more then the traditional balloon arch to fit in more with my ‘country’ theme. Your Day Events delivered ! After sending across my initial ideas and enquiry everything was discussed from wording to specific palette colours and costing . Set up and install was done by the team , had so many compliments on the day and the guests loved the photo ops! Recommend and would use definitely use again for another event!

Creative Venue are amazing. They brought mine and my husband's vision to life on our wedding day. I was so excited when I saw all of the decor set out in our wedding breakfast room. I'd like to say a special thank you to Beth (who we started our consultation with) and Jenny who took over once Beth left and was responsible for set up on the day. Claire and the team did a fantastic job of decorating our wedding venue. We started the process of organising the decorations and flowers back in May 2023. Claire was very helpful, giving us lots of suggestions on how we could achieve our ideas within our budget. Over time as other aspects of the wedding came together we continued to refine the plan, each time Claire was full of good advice and a happy smile. She was reassuring when the colour scheme did a full turn, after we failed to find bridesmaids dresses in the colours we needed, helping to hunt down just the right colour ribbon to keep my initial vision alive. On the day I knew Claire and the team had everything in hand and that when I finally saw the venue it would be exactly what we had planned. My maid of honour needed silk flowers due to her allergies and Claire and the team managed to match them beautifully to the real ones. If fact when they arrived I struggled to tell them apart. Thank you so much for bringing the personal touch to our venue that we wanted and for my wonderful flowers.

Creative venue were absolutely fantastic. My wife had a great vision of how she wanted our wedding to look and Claire and the team made it come to life exactly how we wanted. Our wedding stationery was designed better than we could have imagined, we were kept up to date throughout the process and we couldn't have been happier.
