What is there not to love at the Old Kent Barn?! Such a beautiful wedding venue in Kent. I have had the pleasure of photographing multiple weddings at this stunning venue. The gardens are beautiful and perfect for photography.To top it all off the Old Kent Barn team are so fun and friendly! I really cannot wait to come back :)

5 stars just doesn’t seem enough to leave for TOKB - from start to finish of our wedding planning journey we were looked after so well. We dealt with many members of staff with Chloe standing out to us through many email trails and meetings at the barn, she was so helpful with all our questions and explaining how to fill out our portal correctly! But… CLAIRE!!! We had Claire L as our fantastic co-ordinator on our day, and what a magical presence she was! Every step of the day was meticulously planned out with such precision and she was with us every step of the way, to ease any nerves, to hand us drink and to just make sure we were happy and having the time of our lives, which we were because The Old Kent Barn just had everything under control from start to finish. We chose the BBQ for our wedding breakfast and that along with the canapés and evening food has our guests so well fed, plus it was all so so delicious. We knew the second we got out the car on our first viewing visit to TOKB that we would get married here, and thanks to the team and the stunning venue we had the best day of our lives there. Myself and my husband married at the Old Kent Barn in October and had the best day of our lives. The staff were amazing throughout the whole process from securing a date all the way to end day after the big day. Our wedding coordinator in particular Claire was just amazing and so helpful and resourceful. As well as all this the venue was stunning everywhere you look! We would highly recommend the venue to anyone!

Being a wedding photographer myself, being spoiled with all the gorgeous countryside, the super friendly team and some of the most scrummy food, always makes the Old Kent Barn such an amazing venue to photograph at. With so many different spots to explore for pictures, it's always quite the treat, and a space where I just love photographing wedding stories! A fantastic venue!!

The Proposers made my December proposal at Tower Bridge in London spectacular. Everything from decorating the hallway, reserving the venue, taking photos, and coordinating the proposal was super easy thanks to the wonderful team that worked with me. This made the planning process for the proposal very smooth even when I wasn’t living in the country (US-based). They also took care of the clean up of the venue so that my fiancée and I could just focus on enjoying the proposal. The Proposers were absolutely fantastic! I had never been to London before so I knew nothing about the area or what locations would make sense. Given our engagement was during December it was going to be cold outside so the team was focused on inside areas only. They perfectly set up the private area in The Shard and hosted a great event. A violinist, photographer, videographer, roses, Christmas trees, ornaments, everything was spectacular including the dinner that followed. Cannot recommend them more if you are having your engagement in London! Thank you guys!

We're so happy we chose The Oak Barn as our wedding venue! We got married here in August 2023. We fell in love with the venue from the first viewing. The setting is stunning, and the barn is modern but still has a rustic feel, which was perfect for us! The cottages on site are also beautiful. The team at The Oak Barn are a wonderful bunch - incredibly helpful and make you feel at ease throughout the whole process. I want to give a special thanks to Chrystelle, who was amazing in the run up to the wedding and on the day. She made sure everything was running smoothly and really kept us calm! It was one of the most magical days of our lives and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue.

It was a real pleasure to visit The Oak Barn again this time to perform for the newlyweds Abbie & Tom, the venue grounds are well kept and a beautiful setting for such a special occasion, the barn is a great space to host the evening party with a raised stage area for the bands to perform on, the staff are there to greet on arrival, friendly and helpful throughout and one of Kent’s finest wedding venues! We had our team offsite at The Oak Barn and it was perfect from start to end - the venue, the suppliers recommended, all the staff! The location! It is a truly gorgeous place. Especially for us Londoners that need some county air!! Deana and Tim are the nicest people to work with ever, the communication before the event and during made everything so easy. I really appreciate how much effort they put in to make the day a success. I’ve had multiple people ask me about the venue after they’ve seen photographs and everyone is already asking if we can go back again next year!! Thank you so so so much, I was blown away by the entire day and so happy with how the event went.

We had our wedding in October 2024 at the Oak Barn Frame Farm and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue! From the moment we looked around the barn, we both knew it was the place for us. Having 3 barns meant we were able to keep our 50 guests entertained and still have beautiful spaces. We weren’t sure what to expect with dry-hire, but the barn is so beautiful it could be kept minimal if you’re on a budget, but being able to personalise it to how we wanted it made it extra special for us. The open fields, waterfall and sheep meant we got some amazing photos (from our photographer Matt Birchall) as well as the best memories. Chrystelle couldn’t have been more helpful, from her communication in planning, to the materials provided in the run up to the wedding, and her excellent organisation on the day meaning our wedding ran seamlessly and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The list of trusted suppliers was great too, and we used quite a few who were also great. The accommodation on site was an added bonus for us and family, and all of our friends and family commented on what a perfect venue we’d chosen. Being environmentally focused was also a huge bonus for us, as it really aligned with our values. Thank you to all at the Oak Barn for giving us the happiest day!

I would highly recommend Claire and the team at Creative Venue! They recently provided decorations for our wedding at The Gardens in Yalding. Everything was so beautiful and our guests loved it! Claire made the whole process so smooth and was always at hand to answer our questions and offer advice. We couldn’t have asked for a better service!

I had the best experience with the ladies that work at creative venue. They created the look I wanted to dress my wedding venue and provided the outdoor lighting too. I dear mainly with Beth however all the ladies on the day were incredible. They looked at cost effective options and were extremely helpful when there were changes to the plan/numbers. Very thankful to these ladies. I would recommend and wish you all the success.

Claire and the team did a fantastic job of decorating our wedding venue. We started the process of organising the decorations and flowers back in May 2023. Claire was very helpful, giving us lots of suggestions on how we could achieve our ideas within our budget. Over time as other aspects of the wedding came together we continued to refine the plan, each time Claire was full of good advice and a happy smile. She was reassuring when the colour scheme did a full turn, after we failed to find bridesmaids dresses in the colours we needed, helping to hunt down just the right colour ribbon to keep my initial vision alive. On the day I knew Claire and the team had everything in hand and that when I finally saw the venue it would be exactly what we had planned. My maid of honour needed silk flowers due to her allergies and Claire and the team managed to match them beautifully to the real ones. If fact when they arrived I struggled to tell them apart. Thank you so much for bringing the personal touch to our venue that we wanted and for my wonderful flowers.

Creative venue were absolutely fantastic. My wife had a great vision of how she wanted our wedding to look and Claire and the team made it come to life exactly how we wanted. Our wedding stationery was designed better than we could have imagined, we were kept up to date throughout the process and we couldn't have been happier. We can't recommend Creative Venue highly enough.

Such an amazing event! Party Doctor took all the stress and worry out of arranging an 18th birthday party in my garden. They kept the kids safe and they had a fabulous time. Would definitely recommend and plan to use again.

I have now personally worked with Party Doctors 4 times both within a corporate and private sense, with one event already booked next year. To say Raj and Dom go above and beyond would be an understatement, I have yet to witness anything that these two gentleman cannot achieve (even from some of our wildest concepts!). They hold your hand through the entire planning process giving you breakdowns on cost throughout to help you stick to your intended budget, the system they use actually allows you to visually see how the concept will look within the space you are using. They worked tirelessly for us for our first expo this year becoming experts about our brand and what we do, the stand that they created actually drew in such a crowd that we struggled to keep up with the sheer amount of customers! Thankfully that was no problem to them and their team who immediately stepped in to offer information about who we are and what we do to keep clients entertained. Their staff are absolutely brilliant and they have a very close team, a special shout out to Tristan who we personally request for our events who is another person always willing to step up when things get stressful. Overall, I cannot recommend Party Doctors enough would not ever want to work with anyone else as it would simply be subpar.

Our company has worked with Party Drs on several occasions. They are a joy to work with, creative, professional and patient. Nothing seems too much to handle, and they understood our brand and requirements very quickly, carrying this through each event. The staff themselves are great, both friendly and humourous whilst maintaining professionalism. Our recent even was a large exhibition which they took care of from start to finish. From designing our stand to completing all the paperwork and formalities with the venue. Raj and Dom took great care in making sure our stand was ready and even took over aspects that were not in their remit to ensure it met our standards. Raj, Dom and their staff took very good care of our company and customers. When our stand was extremely busy, they took the initiative to mingle with the crowd, offer drinks so our guests were not left hanging around empty handed. Even "off the clock" they assisted in arranging transport home for our stranded customers. This was just a typical example of the lengths they will go to to ensure the event is a success for their customer. We have not hesitated to book again for next year.

We used Party Doctors to help us with a joint 18th birthday party for our daughter and her two friends. They were fantastic. From the first enquiry to the event itself they were honest, helpful, accommodating, trustworthy, professional and reliable. We had 250 guests of varying ages and Party Doctors literally created a night club in our garden. Everything from the marquee, indoor and outdoor lighting, DJ, bar, bar staff, food, toilets and security they arranged for us which took away the stress and allowed us to really enjoy the evening with our guests. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend them - they honestly are all a pleasure to work with and know how to throw an unforgettable party !

Such a good night at The Robbie Williams event at Olby’s in Margate. Such great value for money, the support, Jed Sharpe was brilliant and Dan Budd aka Robbie was outstanding. Such fantastic little venue! Danced all night!!

Our display created by Your Day Events was absolute perfection and completed our party theme. We requested pastel Pokémon and Gemma managed to source these adorable Pokémon pictures. The attention to detail was amazing and I’d highly recommend using Your Day for any parties or events! 🎈

Came across your day events whilst browsing instagram for my baby shower. I wanted something more then the traditional balloon arch to fit in more with my ‘country’ theme. Your Day Events delivered ! After sending across my initial ideas and enquiry everything was discussed from wording to specific palette colours and costing . Set up and install was done by the team , had so many compliments on the day and the guests loved the photo ops! Recommend and would use definitely use again for another event!

Words really can't explain how fantastic the service from Kayleigh was throughout the process in both the preparations for, and the day of, our wedding. Kayleigh has an amazing ability to make you feel like the only couple she is working for through the whole experience. She is fantastic at listening to the "vision", sharing ideas and advice, and executing to perfection. Her responsiveness, above all else, was so helpful and reassuring when handling lots of suppliers - it really does make the difference. My only regret is that I don't have another event to use her for! If i could give 6 stars I would.

Well what can we say? Kayleigh at Pretty Events was AMAZING! We can't thank her enough for the effort she put in to making the décor at our wedding at Hall Place just perfect. From the moment we met Kayleigh at her showroom we knew we had met someone who understood us and knew the look we were aiming for and she so delivered on everything. The chair coverings, lanterns and flowers in the room where we got married looked just as we imagined/hoped it would look and the main hall for our reception was just WOW, so much so that it actually left us speechless (which is a miracle in itself as Kayleigh will confirm as we do like to talk!). Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kayleigh and for that we will always be so grateful as our day was just perfect. If we ever need any décor for a party or future event then we will definitely be calling on Kayleigh as it will be like getting in touch with a friend. I cannot rate this company highly enough. Kayleigh is just wonderful. It was a pleasure to work with her on our wedding journey. She is warm, friendly and really helpful. The customer service is excellent. I really recommend visiting her showroom as the face to face experience is lovely and really assists in creating a vision. We really wanted a starlit canopy at our venue but the type we wanted hadn’t been installed there before so this was a mammoth task for Kayleigh and her team. They worked so hard to make it happen and I know a huge amount of work went on behind the scenes. She really went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and remained conscious of our budget throughout. We used Thanetians for our works annual dinner for around 80 people on Friday 7 June 2019. Our theme was “The Great Gatsby” and we could not fault Thanetians they did a fantastic job in decorating our 8 tables in a black and gold theme. They really listened to what we wanted and made any additions along the way and made the room look fantastic. We were at St Augustine’s in Westgate-on-Sea and we had the Chapel. The tables looked stunning with big ostrich feathers and tall vases with led lights around the top. The table and chairs covers looked amazing really did take our breath away when we walked into the room. Thank you Nikki and Amanda for making our annual dinner brilliant.
