A superb venue in a beautiful location. We visited for the first time for the summer party at the end of August. We had a lovely time, enjoying the picturesque oast house setting and delightful grounds and accommodation. We were made to feel very welcome, with excellent hospitality and entertainment throughout the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend highly for weddings and other special celebrations.

What a stunning venue!! It's all so beautiful, and there's so much to it. We went to the opening day at the weekend and it was so good, and colourful - despite the overcast weather! What a great place for an event. The staff are really lovely, and I adore the fact you can get married under that stunning willow tree!!! Definitely recommending Shires Oast for hosting different events :)

We visited the Shires Oast open day on Saturday 31st August and were very impressed with what we saw. The venue is absolutely beautiful! We were shown found the premises and very well informed about what was on offer. We loved the fact that we could tailor an event exactly how we wished. The staff were very approachable and friendly and we felt that they would do all they could to make our function work for us in the way we wished. We would be very confident in booking our event there.

This is a really lovely venue with real attention to detail. The staff are extremely accommodating and the venue has specific, separate areas suitable for all sorts and sizes of events. I would thoroughly recommend Shires Oast to anyone.

Amazing service from Kent Events…. We contacted Jay back in January to organise my birthday party in July..he arranged marquee, toilets, 360 photo, catering (bbq-the burgers were insane), music, sax and bongos which were brilliant. Everyone had an amazing night.. they really took the stress out of organising a party… highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve worked with Kent Event Packages on a number of occasions and have always found them to be organised, friendly and professional, always putting on a fantastic show and meeting the client’s brief. The DJs have always been brilliant and have created a great atmosphere for each event. Would highly recommend!

We had our team offsite at The Oak Barn and it was perfect from start to end - the venue, the suppliers recommended, all the staff! The location! It is a truly gorgeous place. Especially for us Londoners that need some county air!! Deana and Tim are the nicest people to work with ever, the communication before the event and during made everything so easy. I really appreciate how much effort they put in to make the day a success. I’ve had multiple people ask me about the venue after they’ve seen photographs and everyone is already asking if we can go back again next year!! We're so happy we chose The Oak Barn as our wedding venue! We got married here in August 2023. We fell in love with the venue from the first viewing. The setting is stunning, and the barn is modern but still has a rustic feel, which was perfect for us! The cottages on site are also beautiful. The team at The Oak Barn are a wonderful bunch - incredibly helpful and make you feel at ease throughout the whole process. I want to give a special thanks to Chrystelle, who was amazing in the run up to the wedding and on the day. She made sure everything was running smoothly and really kept us calm! It was one of the most magical days of our lives and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue.

From the moment Georgie walked through our door we had every confidence she would organise, manage and deliver the most incredible party and sure enough she did. Her attention to detail is second to none. She is a great listener - her ability to pick up on our needs and style, knowing them even before we did. So often I asked her about something and it had all been sorted without us being involved. She evidently really cares about delivering an excellent service. Her network of contractors who helped physically create the party were second to none. All delivered on time without any fuss. They just got on with the job. We really enjoyed working with Georgie - she made it fun, taking all the stress away and just allowing us to enjoy the run up to the party and relax once it was over. Our party was everything we could have wished for and more. We couldn't recommend her highly enough. Georgie is a consummate professional with whom we look forward to working again in the future.

I don’t even know where to start in saying thank you to Charlotte and her team for helping us on our wedding day. From start to finish, Charlotte made sure every single detail was checked and looked after. Throughout the whole build up, she was reassuring and positive - putting us totally at ease. On the day, she ensured everything was set up to the highest quality and that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. There is no way we could of had our day run without a glitch without Charlotte and her team! I cannot thank her or recommend highly enough!

The hardest thing about this review will be keeping it short. We cannot say enough about Charlotte and Katie. Their enthusiasm was there right from the start, from the very first meeting. They finished our thoughts and sentences and we had an immediate reassurance that we were in capable hands. We are very detailed orientated, we had done most of the planning ourselves before we brought Charlotte and Katie on board and that’s probably our biggest regret, not finding them sooner and bringing them on board earlier. Their experience, attention to detail and organisational skills were self-evident and they asked about details that no one else had thought of except us. Other than us (the bide and groom) they were the only people to have EVERY single detail of the big day (and remember them). We knew we could completely trust them to manage the set up and running of our special day. They understood our whole vision and the part that every supplier played in our day. We can honestly say that we had brilliant suppliers, but there were so many jobs that fell outside of the venue/ florist/ stylist etc that without Black Sheep, those jobs wouldn’t have got done and our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. The day before the wedding, we realised that there were DIY jobs that we weren’t going to get done, so we asked the girls if they could do them and they agreed without hesitation. We felt guilty at the amount we asked them to do, but they really took it all in their stride, they were completely unfazed. No idea how they did it all in the time. They did not stop working from the day before our wedding, all the way through our wedding, right through to every bag, crate, box and fairly light being packed up. They even kept the staff at the venue on their toes, prompting them to clear plates. No job was ever too big or too small for Charlotte and Katie. They were always there when they were needed and they made it look effortless, but we know it absolutely wasn’t. The wedding industry can be greedy and grasping, but Katie and Charlotte give everything they’ve got and then a bit more. They were determined to make our day as stress free and perfect as possible for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, even our guests have commented on how much they did throughout the day. Katie & Charlotte won’t let you down, the relationship between them is special and they are a formidable team. Nothing we can say in any review will express our gratitude for all they did for us, we are so sad that we don’t get to do the wedding planning over again, except this time with Black Sheep involved from the beginning.

Where do I begin?! Charlotte and Katie were amazing from the day we met them! Throughout the planning process they were on hand to answer any questions, gave advice on ideas and provided us with recommendations of suppliers (which we used and loved!). They shared our enthusiasm for the day, complimented each other with the knowledge, skills and expertise they both brought and were two amazing ladies who we felt we could completely trust with the planning and running of our special day. They were brilliant setting up our venue the day before and morning of the wedding (and packing up at the end of the night too!), were busy liaising with suppliers, setting up and dressing areas and were a genuine friend to the bride during stressful moments! During the day, Charlotte and Katie did not stop! They had planned the day perfectly and even with the unpredictable British weather (heavy rain in August!!) the changes they made to the running of the day seemed effortless and unfazed them. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, so much so that I wouldn’t even know where to begin to list everything! They both really understood the vision we had for the day, were honest with what would and wouldn’t work and gave us ideas we would have never thought of. Charlotte and Katie were both professional and a friend at the same time. We are so grateful and felt very lucky to have them be a part of our special day. There is not one thing we would change about our day and so much of that is down to these superhuman ladies!

My partner and I recently got married in London and we hired Dita as our on the day coordinator. Dita made the wedding so much less stressful and she was completely supporting of our quirky ideas and helped us bring them to life. Something that we didnt experience speaking to other wedding experts. Dita's help and knowledge was invaluable and the staff she brought for the event were also so so lovely. We couldn’t speak highly of them enough. A lot of our friends and family complimented the staff saying how helpful and accommodating they were! Overall, the wedding was amazing and we couldn't have done it without Dita!

After 3 years of procrastination, we finally decided to plan our wedding in London while living in the US. All we can say is thank goodness for Dita! From beginning to end, Dita was incredibly patient while we made up our minds. She was never pushy and always encouraged us to do what we wanted, all while appreciating our budget. Dita was invaluable in making sure everything came together. Her unique ideas, expertise, and network of collaborators brought our vision to life. Not only was our garden transformed into a beautiful wedding reception venue, but the atmosphere was elevated by Dita’s impeccable styling. Moreover, she really went above and beyond in working with us from abroad to select excellent catering with a bespoke cocktail menu. She was an exceptional collaborator in how she worked with us to bring together a beautiful multicultural experience that spoke to our families’ traditions. Dita and her team were all brilliant leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. We couldn’t have done it without her. It is thanks to Dita that we have such wonderful memories of our wedding day!

Dita helped us pull off an amazing wedding party after 15 years of procrastination. In one meeting, she had filtered through our ideas until we had a plan. Eight weeks later, we had the cabaret wedding party we never knew we always wanted and the response from our guests was fantastic. It was the most stress free party we'd ever hosted and Dita Rosted's roster of contacts and suppliers all hit the mark perfectly. We would do it all over again if only we could.

What an amazing night Dita created for us. With just a few meetings, a couple of thoughts on acts and a Pinterest Board at her disposal, Dita created our "Happily Ever After Party" to perfection. We couldn't have asked for a better night. Thank you

I attended the course in May 2023. It was fantastic! Pippa and her team are so knowledgeable and you learn so much. I can't recommend this course enough if you're serious about a career in weddings planning. I did so much research into courses and you won't find a more comprehensive, more enjoyable course.

I recently completed the 1:1 course in Wedding Planning & Business marketing. I was very impressed with how the course was structured. I was given 8 books which I read before the 1:1 session which I found to be incredibly detailed & informative. The 1:1 session was engaging and I really enjoyed Pippa's teaching style. I found Pippa to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about the wedding industry and how I could work to develop my business and succeed. I really appreciated the time Pippa took to help me work on my branding and develop a realistic business plan. I would definitely recommend the WPS and I feel confident to begin my journey as a wedding planner.

What an incredible week spent on the Elite Course with the Wedding Planner School. As an aspiring wedding planner the course was just the thing I was looking for x1000. We were lucky enough to stay in the grounds of Leeds Castle for a week which was a magical experience whilst getting to know my course mates, who were all really supportive of one another. The daily classroom sessions (theory and practical) went into great detail and there was lots of opportunity for questions and discussion. In addition, the opportunity to work on a real wedding towards the end of the week was brilliant and gives you great insight as to what you can expect. All in all, the course was the perfect springboard for my next step towards becoming a wedding planner. Thanks to Pippa and Amber for everything you continue to put into it!

Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!

If you’re looking for someone to style your venue and take all the stress away. Hire these guys now. We found them through our venue and went to one of these procecco and browse days. Well these guys formed my wedding. I found them, my rings and my stationary through there show room! I wanted an Autumn wonderland and they delivered! They came in the morning and when I went to check on them they needed no direction they knew what they were doing I could go upstairs and enjoy my morning stress free. When I came down for my ceremony I couldn’t believe it was the same room it looked amazing. The colours, the attention to detail, the neatness!!! Everyone of my guests were in awe and took so many photos infront of our arch! These guys know weddings. Book them tell them your vision and they will make it come true. I didn’t have a clue what flowers I wanted and let them have complete control and my bouquet and the boys pocket flowers were stunning! Chic arranged the flowers for my wedding at Hayne House and created the most beautiful bouquets and archway. They listened to my many and ever changing ideas, helping to make it a reality and put it all together. They even created mistmatched bouquets in colours that were sentimental to each bridesmaid, yet tied in with my bouquet and including all the colours and flowers that I liked. Chic were amazing! We hired them for our wedding flowers and they delivered. The consultation was perfect as Tammy listened to our vision of what we wanted. We were also able to adapt our choices as we started to have better visions as we engaged with other suppliers and saw various inspiration. The flowers lasted ages after the wedding, so the enjoyment could continue after the big day. I absoultely loved my bouquet with all the special flowers and it was great to be able to have one of my favourite flowers in there even though it was only at the start of the season. I had the sincere pleasure of capturing a beautiful wedding, here at Oak Tree Barns, in May 2024. As a local Kent photographer, it was a real treat to visit one of our county's most beautiful wedding venues. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL! Very well thought out and, clearly, very carefully and lovingly looked after. I must also praise the exceptional staff. The entire OTB team were incredibly kind, supportive and helpful. Everything a couple (and a fellow supplier!) could hope for on an otherwise busy wedding day! Well what can we say, we visited OTB, absolutely fell in love with the venue and the team and signed on the dotted line before we even got home or visited any other venues. From start to finish OTB staff were incredible, especially Lydia who hands down absolutely smashed her role as Wedding Coordinator. We had countless compliments for Lydia on the day and she is a true asset to the team. The venue itself is insane, so many of our guests commented on the day of how well everything worked. Nothing was ever too much and the day to night transition feels like you have two venues in one. If we could do it all again, we wouldn’t change a thing. We included the Bothy and utilised both the on site salon and glamping pods, all these additions just added to the wow factor and overall experience. Will 100000% be recommending this venue to all future couples, especially Ashleigh working in the industry. We had a wonderful Christmas wedding at Oak Tree Barn. Renee, Lydia, Theresa and the rest of the team were on hand to answer all our queries both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. Having the venue for the whole weekend meant we had plenty of time to set up and decorate without any stress. We stayed in the Bothy with our family and enjoyed a lovely evening before the wedding. Plenty of space for up to 7 adults and a lovely master bedroom for the bride and groom. Also lots of space to ready separately on the morning of the wedding. We used caterers and a DJ recommended by Oak Tree who were both fantastic. Our favourite part of the venue was all the fairy lights and disco balls - it looked so magical. We can’t thank the team at Oak Tree enough for a perfect day and would recommend to any couples who want a relaxed wedding in a fun and rustic setting.
