We used A Touch of Kent for our wedding in June. They were absolutely brilliant from start to end! From the initial meeting we had to discuss our plans and ideas, to the actual set up of our special day, Sam and Katie made it completely stress free. There was no pressure to choose anything in particular, very laid back and so easy to work with! We would highly recommend A Touch of Kent for any occasion. I used a touch of kent for my recent wedding in August. Both Sam and Katie where lovely to work with. The were quick to respond to questions and emails and communicated with our venue as well on our behalf. They took the time to meet with us and understand what we want for our wedding. We enjoying going into the show room and seeing ideas in person. They perfectly created my vision of bright summery colours.

They are seriously the most talented group of wedding designers I have come across. I feel extremely lucky to have worked with them. They saw my vision and filled in the blanks for me. The outcomes were spectacular. I cannot thank them enough. They have a unique eye and ability to make a vision come to life. On top of that, they are so kind and welcoming upon meeting them. I highly recommend trusting them with your big day.

Sam and Katie were absolutely fantastic from the beginning of the process! We were sold on them as people and their enthusiasm as soon as we met them! They created our dream wedding and we felt entirely secure every moment. Words cannot express how grateful we are and how in love we were with everything on our day! You truly made it special! After month's of looking for a marquee supplier we found Marquee the Event and loved their clear marquees! Simon was incredibly helpful from the get go, offering advice and information on the different styles of marquee as well as generators, dance floor, tables, benches, toilets and staging. We were so happy to find someone who could cover all our needs for our wedding day. The site visit we did with Simon and his team was incredibly informative but we also felt Simon fully understood what we wanted while providing great practical advice. When we finally saw the Marquee installed we were blown away with how beautiful it looked with the lights, staging and tables! The tables and toilets in particular were even better than we thought they would be and Simon was great at giving us instructions on how to use the equipment provided. Thank You so much for making our Wedding Festival dreams a reality, we would recommend Marquee the Event in a heartbeat!

I’ve got to say, one of the best decisions me and my husband have ever made was to book Simon and Marquee the Event for our Woodland wedding in September this year at Longton Wood! Myself and my husband were really set on using local suppliers in an effort to keep our day as planet friendly as possible and from the very first contact, Simon jumped on board with our planet friendly requests, going above and beyond to meet our requirements and help us create our dream day. We had so many compliments from guests and other suppliers about our marquee (we opted for a fully transparent one and it was absolutely magical set amongst the trees). We honestly could not have been happier! One of the most reliable, professional and hard working people we have ever worked with and we hope there is an opportunity in the future to use Simon and Marquee the Event again! Simon and his team were just brilliant from day one of enquiring with them. Simon would always get back to me straight away with any questions I had (which was A LOT!) he would always go through everything to ensure me that we had everything ready to go for the big day and I couldn’t have been happier with the communication. The marquee itself was outstanding and just exactly what I had been picturing in my head for years! My brief was “clear roof, sides that roll up, black and white dance floor and disco balls galore”.. it was spot on! We opted for the round tables and “nice” chairs which worked perfectly. We also had the toilet block from them, as toliets go.. there were really clean and “posh”. Actually people commented on how nice these were! We also had festoon lights up the drive way and a couple of days before the big day, I decided that I wanted them up the stairs too. I messaged Simon and they were put up the next day- talk about first class service!! We also did this with the carpet as originally I was going to have wooden floors but the carpet really finished it off nicely! We used Marquee The Event to supply a 12m x 12m marquee for the Kent County Show this year and I can't rate them highly enough. It lashed it down with rain and blew a gale all weekend and everybody that we hosted in the marquee said what a clean, dry and solidly constructed marquee it was and I have to agree. I have done many shows up and down the country using many different marquee suppliers and I have to say the marquee supplied by Simon is the best we've ever had at an incredibly reasonable price too. We will definitely look to use them again and can't recommend them enough.

Friends' wedding. July '23. Absolutely superb. A perfect day. Dozens of courtesy brollies were available but don't think rain will spoil this location. It doesn't.

From the moment we first stepped into The Oak Grove, we just knew we wanted to get married there. The place is simply magical, it almost feels as though it was built by fairies or something! It’s such a great layout too – spacious but nicely contained, with lots of the interesting little nooks and crannies for guests to mingle, relax and play games in. Throughout the entire planning process, Sam and Paul could not have been more supportive in helping us to achieve our vision for the day. They really are two of the kindest and most creative people you could ever wish to meet, and their staff are just as fabulous. Our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly - we were on a high all day. In fact, I honestly think if we didn’t have photos, it would probably have felt like some sort of wonderful dream! An absolute gem of a venue ♥

We had our wedding on 18th June 2022 at the stunning Oak Grove venue. What a wonderful day it was! We were so grateful for everything the amazing team did for us!! It was magical from start to finish and everyone was so impressed with the setting! All of Sam, Paul and Tracy's communication was so friendly, prompt and helpful along the way, making it easy and enjoyable to plan and get ready for the big day. We weren’t expecting as much help and support the day before and the morning of the wedding which actually felt like such a relief and we could rest knowing it was all in good hands. We looked at lots of woodland venues around London and this was by far the best value for money for what was included, we would highly recommend! The attention to detail is remarkable- everything has been thought of from the vintage furniture, cocktail bar, fire pit, converted horsebox toilets, children's area and stunning ceremony area. It really was perfect and hardly needed any extra decoration! We also had spots of rain during the ceremony but we were oblivious to it and umbrellas were provided for our guests, as were blankets throughout the evening. We had a ceilidh band in the evening and the venue was perfect for this too! Thank you to the Oak Grove for such a memorable day. We hope you bring as much happiness to many more couples in the future.

I thought everything about this venue was brilliant for a late summer wedding. We were there on the hottest day in the year in September. The leafy arbour and benches for the ceremony are lovely. The lavender confetti the couple chose worked well and I smiled as I took pictures of the blankets and umbrellas provided for cold and wet days. The toilet facilities are amusing and kitted out with everything that might be needed. The marquee and bar were well appointed, beautifully arranged and the staff very accommodating.

I attended the course in May 2023. It was fantastic! Pippa and her team are so knowledgeable and you learn so much. I can't recommend this course enough if you're serious about a career in weddings planning. I did so much research into courses and you won't find a more comprehensive, more enjoyable course.

I recently completed the 1:1 course in Wedding Planning & Business marketing. I was very impressed with how the course was structured. I was given 8 books which I read before the 1:1 session which I found to be incredibly detailed & informative. The 1:1 session was engaging and I really enjoyed Pippa's teaching style. I found Pippa to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about the wedding industry and how I could work to develop my business and succeed. I really appreciated the time Pippa took to help me work on my branding and develop a realistic business plan. I would definitely recommend the WPS and I feel confident to begin my journey as a wedding planner.

What an incredible week spent on the Elite Course with the Wedding Planner School. As an aspiring wedding planner the course was just the thing I was looking for x1000. We were lucky enough to stay in the grounds of Leeds Castle for a week which was a magical experience whilst getting to know my course mates, who were all really supportive of one another. The daily classroom sessions (theory and practical) went into great detail and there was lots of opportunity for questions and discussion. In addition, the opportunity to work on a real wedding towards the end of the week was brilliant and gives you great insight as to what you can expect. All in all, the course was the perfect springboard for my next step towards becoming a wedding planner. Thanks to Pippa and Amber for everything you continue to put into it!

I want to say thank you for the wonderful wedding planning course. The course was incredibly informative and practical, and I feel I’ve learned so much! I appreciated how hands-on it was, allowing us to practice what ‘we learned. The day wedding coordination was particularly amazing as it gave me a taste of what it’s like to work on a real wedding. On Saturday I had the pleasure of working as the celebrant for Amy and Alex’s wedding, with Sian from Busy Brides Wedding Planners, and I must say what a joy it was. Prior to Amy and Alex’s wedding, Sian contacted me and other vendors, introducing herself and setting out detailed but easy to follow information about the day. She provided maps as to where to park, passes for the vendors for easy parking, and a schedule for the days event. Upon my arrival she took time away from her busy schedule to show me around and to introduce me to the venue staff who would coordinate the music. We had an informal briefing to ensure everyone was singing from the same hymn sheet with regards to entrance music, certificate signing and the bride and groom exiting the room. It was seamless!! Sian took the time to assist me with the positioning of the ceremony area for the best pictures and even took some pictures for me in preparation. The day ran so smoothly. I must say it was a delight to work with her and I hope there will be future events that we can collaborate with. Thank you very much

Jack & Kelli were amazing for our wedding. We would highly recommend. Jack & Kelli are so friendly and lovely to chat too. We spoke a few times in the run up of the wedding and on the day they were brilliant! On the day the set up looked fab and tied in with our colour scheme. We couldn’t thank Jack enough for checking in with us on the day and keeping to our time line. The confetti bombs were a huge hit on the dance floor and also capturing our first dance was a lovely touch. We know where to go if we ever need a DJ. JMC Events made our wedding day fabulous. They were professional to work with, flexible with our requirements and struck the right tone with the music choice. It was an amazing party! Evoke helped me organise the disco, photo booth some drapes and extra lights for the venue. Emma got everything perfectly timed so each part was installed at a set time on the day so it was minimally disruptive to the wedding party, the draps add that extra special touch to the room, the mirror photo booth was a major and DJ was spot on. All in all Evoke events added those finishing touches to what was a memorable special occasion. Highly recommended and when my other daughter gets married I will use Evoke events again. Thanks Emma💕

We contacted Jay back in January to organise my birthday party in July..he arranged marquee, toilets, 360 photo, catering (bbq-the burgers were insane), music, sax and bongos which were brilliant.
