I attended a Christmas wreath makingg event with elegant events yesterday and it was fantastic! They should us how to make it from start to finish. This was my final result and i couldn't be happier with it. The atmosphere was fantastic and it got us all in the Christmas mood! The whole process was so flawless, great communication, set up was fabulous and Angela was lovely. My partners 40th birthday was made even more special with the amazing work they did providing such an elegant back drop for photos. Elegant events provided a wonderful experience. The balloon arch was stunning and exceeded my expectations. The set up was quicker than I had anticipated but they still paid attention to every detail. It was the most beautiful back drop for our evening. Thank you to Kerry and the team for creating and absolutely incredible backdrop at the stunning venue Roseyard Kent for my husband's 40th. From start to finish they were so professional and so helpful and able to create exactly what I envisioned. Also last minute I had to change the date and extend the hire. No questions asked they were more than willing to accommodate my request. The who set up was stress free for me! I wish Elegant Events were located to where I live as I organise so many parties and would loved to have used their services. Thank you Elegant Events of Kent for the decorations! I would 100% recommend this team to anyone looking for decor set up for events!

Amazing service from Kent Events…. We contacted Jay back in January to organise my birthday party in July..he arranged marquee, toilets, 360 photo, catering (bbq-the burgers were insane), music, sax and bongos which were brilliant. Everyone had an amazing night.. they really took the stress out of organising a party… highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hardest thing about this review will be keeping it short. We cannot say enough about Charlotte and Katie. Their enthusiasm was there right from the start, from the very first meeting. They finished our thoughts and sentences and we had an immediate reassurance that we were in capable hands. We are very detailed orientated, we had done most of the planning ourselves before we brought Charlotte and Katie on board and that’s probably our biggest regret, not finding them sooner and bringing them on board earlier. Their experience, attention to detail and organisational skills were self-evident and they asked about details that no one else had thought of except us. Other than us (the bide and groom) they were the only people to have EVERY single detail of the big day (and remember them). We knew we could completely trust them to manage the set up and running of our special day. They understood our whole vision and the part that every supplier played in our day. We can honestly say that we had brilliant suppliers, but there were so many jobs that fell outside of the venue/ florist/ stylist etc that without Black Sheep, those jobs wouldn’t have got done and our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. The day before the wedding, we realised that there were DIY jobs that we weren’t going to get done, so we asked the girls if they could do them and they agreed without hesitation. We felt guilty at the amount we asked them to do, but they really took it all in their stride, they were completely unfazed. No idea how they did it all in the time. They did not stop working from the day before our wedding, all the way through our wedding, right through to every bag, crate, box and fairly light being packed up. They even kept the staff at the venue on their toes, prompting them to clear plates. No job was ever too big or too small for Charlotte and Katie. They were always there when they were needed and they made it look effortless, but we know it absolutely wasn’t. The wedding industry can be greedy and grasping, but Katie and Charlotte give everything they’ve got and then a bit more. They were determined to make our day as stress free and perfect as possible for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, even our guests have commented on how much they did throughout the day. Katie & Charlotte won’t let you down, the relationship between them is special and they are a formidable team. Nothing we can say in any review will express our gratitude for all they did for us, we are so sad that we don’t get to do the wedding planning over again, except this time with Black Sheep involved from the beginning.

I don’t even know where to start in saying thank you to Charlotte and her team for helping us on our wedding day. From start to finish, Charlotte made sure every single detail was checked and looked after. Throughout the whole build up, she was reassuring and positive - putting us totally at ease. On the day, she ensured everything was set up to the highest quality and that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. There is no way we could of had our day run without a glitch without Charlotte and her team! I cannot thank her or recommend highly enough!

Where do I begin?! Charlotte and Katie were amazing from the day we met them! Throughout the planning process they were on hand to answer any questions, gave advice on ideas and provided us with recommendations of suppliers (which we used and loved!). They shared our enthusiasm for the day, complimented each other with the knowledge, skills and expertise they both brought and were two amazing ladies who we felt we could completely trust with the planning and running of our special day. They were brilliant setting up our venue the day before and morning of the wedding (and packing up at the end of the night too!), were busy liaising with suppliers, setting up and dressing areas and were a genuine friend to the bride during stressful moments! During the day, Charlotte and Katie did not stop! They had planned the day perfectly and even with the unpredictable British weather (heavy rain in August!!) the changes they made to the running of the day seemed effortless and unfazed them. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, so much so that I wouldn’t even know where to begin to list everything! They both really understood the vision we had for the day, were honest with what would and wouldn’t work and gave us ideas we would have never thought of. Charlotte and Katie were both professional and a friend at the same time. We are so grateful and felt very lucky to have them be a part of our special day. There is not one thing we would change about our day and so much of that is down to these superhuman ladies!

Emma was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Nothing was ever too much trouble, she was always at the end of the phone for advice, had amazing ideas and was so patient with the various Gov. restrictions and date changes for our wedding. Emma helped us with hiring waiting staff for our DIY wedding and after patiently discussing our needs, she provided us with an amazing team of four. Arriving on site whilst we were in our ceremony, they worked unsupervised to provide an excellent service to our guests who were full of compliments for them. We had brought some flowers back with us from the church and they were incredibly helpful in artfully displaying them around the marquee. No job was ever too much and they worked with complete professionalism. Thank you Emma and team.

Working with Emma Warburton, Founder and MD of Evoke Events, was a breath of fresh air and a real pleasure from beginning to end. Emma and her team provided an exceptional service for this high profile event discerning exactly the vision we had in mind with fresh ideas, being very pro-active, fast acting precise decisions when required and nothing was too much trouble. Evoke helped me organise the disco, photo booth some drapes and extra lights for the venue. Emma got everything perfectly timed so each part was installed at a set time on the day so it was minimally disruptive to the wedding party, the draps add that extra special touch to the room, the mirror photo booth was a major and DJ was spot on. All in all Evoke events added those finishing touches to what was a memorable special occasion. Highly recommended and when my other daughter gets married I will use Evoke events again. Thanks Emma💕

Angie did our table numbers plus the table planner it was beautiful much better than I expected her attention to detail is second to none. Angie & her team are absolutely amazing! I’ve had the pleasure of ordering my daughter’s birthday balloons with Angie and although I have less than a week’s notice Angie made me 2 balloon stacks and a “2” balloon arrangement all in Paddington bear theme which all my party guests commented on. She even delivered them, nothing was too much trouble! I also work with Angie to create all of my acrylic cake menus for my wedding cakes, they always turn out beautifully and I can’t wait to see the next one she creates

Angie is amazing! She literally made any idea we had become reality saving us so much stress and time. We wanted something a bit different and she wasn’t in the slightest bit phased and everything fitted perfectly. The favour tags, table plan, guestbook and centre pieces were specially made for us. We just found a photo of something we liked and she had it made or we gave her an idea and she created it. The photos just don’t do her work justice. Thanks so much Angie for making life so easy! I can’t really find the words to describe how amazing our day was…but I’ll give it a good go! Pip and Kerry went above and beyond for us. It’s the most beautiful venue and all of our guests were stunned at how picturesque and perfect it all looked. It really is a hidden gem of a venue, made even better by the staff. Being able to use the beautiful, surrounding orchards for our couple shots has given us perfect photos that we will cherish forever. The range of caterers who we could choose from was amazing, and they did anything we wanted - we went for a Mexican themed meal! We made the day personal to us by decorating the tables ourselves and adding little touches throughout the day which made it even more special. We were able to bring in whichever suppliers we wanted, and we definitely made use of that! We also took advantage of The Night Yards prop hire which was so handy. If you’ve been lucky enough to find The Night Yard in your search for a wedding venue, don’t hesitate to book it - you really will have the most wonderful, surreal experience. The Night Yard was great choice for our wedding!!! The venue and staff were both excellent and accommodating. The venue has everything you need in it and makes it more intimate as everything is in one place but gives you room to move around. The staff, especially Kerry was excellent and gave us all the support we needed and more. I have left more of my views below – if you are considering getting married you should have a look. The wedding was of course great, but let me tell you about: THE VENUE Glasshouse - Really nice venue which matched everything we hoped for. It has a big glasshouse which is where our ceremony and wedding breakfast was held, it is large enough to cater for everyone and still have space for a DJ. Courtyard - It has a nice outside garden / courtyard where ceremonies can take place too, this is a big open space that latches on to the main glasshouse which means all your guests are in the same area (which means no wandering off guests). The kids loved the courtyard and played outside for lots of the time. The staff even put out games to entertain them (and adults too). Parking - lots of parking and you can leave your car overnight. Lockers – They also provide you with access to big lockers to store things in a couple days before which does help – we didn’t need to but it is useful to have. THE STAFF This was the other main reason we chose The Night Yard. On our first viewing of the venue Kerry was great and you can tell really loved her job, she explained everything and walked us around the venue and left no doubt in our mind that the staff really love to help. After we paid a deposit we harassed Kerry quite a lot and she was always happy to help, we went back to venue 2 or 3 times and she was very accommodating and supportive and gave lots of good advice. Honestly Kerry was great and she made everything so much easier. We would message or call her for queries regarding table clothes, and table layouts etc and she didn’t mind at all. The other staff were great too, Pip in particular who handled the drinks package was really nice and helped too. Unfortunately, Kerry wasn’t there to facilitate on the wedding day but we had Pip who performed well and made sure everything ran smoothly. All the other staff we came across were great too. They’re very accommodating, you can even bring pets. No problems at all with the staff. And Kerry went above and beyond. PACKAGES Food / Catering – our catering was actually really good and the food was really nice, but only bad side for me was the lack of choice for the caterers. The Night Yard have a selection from a few caterers to use which fits into your package but for us some wasn’t available on the day and we had a choice between only 2. It did work out well but I think they should have a larger choice (but then I suppose its what makes them good because they know their suppliers etc). External Caterers – you can bring your own external caterers in, but they will charge £500 to do this, however that option isn’t that bad if you have your own preferences as most caterers are very expensive (ours was!). OVERALL I 100% am happy with the venue and the service, the wedding was great and I had no issues or problems at all.

We used Thanetians for our works annual dinner for around 80 people on Friday 7 June 2019. Our theme was “The Great Gatsby” and we could not fault Thanetians they did a fantastic job in decorating our 8 tables in a black and gold theme. They really listened to what we wanted and made any additions along the way and made the room look fantastic. We were at St Augustine’s in Westgate-on-Sea and we had the Chapel. The tables looked stunning with big ostrich feathers and tall vases with led lights around the top. The table and chairs covers looked amazing really did take our breath away when we walked into the room. Thank you Nikki and Amanda for making our annual dinner brilliant.
