We recently had JK Joinery & Construction in to refurb our bathroom. From start to finish, Keith and Kieran were excellent and we will definitely be using them for all future projects. Their workmanship is second to none, with every last detail considered and executed to the highest standard. They worked very efficiently and were very communicative throughout. The house was kept tidy each day and where possible, they made the bathroom usable each evening for us. We really can’t recommend them highly enough!

We have used Keith for our projects for quite a few years now. His work is always outstanding. Most recently he did our full kitchen install, bamboo floor and oak doors throughout our house. I would highly recommend him and wouldn’t have anyone else.

Me and my wife recently had JK Joinery fit our Kitchen alongside some other works such as Fitted Wardrobes and a built in Media wall. I can not recommend these guys enough, they were polite, professional and courteous at all times. We are so happy with the work completed in our garden which included the building of an external staircase, renewing the deck and making a lovely feature of an out of an control tree! Thank you to everyone at JJ for their professionalism and hard work when completing our kitchen renovation. We found everyone to be very reliable and easy to communicate with. From the onset, Alan had a nice, friendly manner and it was his designs that enabled us to achieve a beautiful kitchen within our budget. Shelley in the office was easy to get hold of throughout the whole process. All the trades that visited our home were friendly and skilled. Matt and Rob were both outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and they worked so hard every day to ensure that they fitted our kitchen to the highest standard. We've been delighted with the work from JJ Carpentry, creating and installing bespoke casement windows for our home in Lewes, which is a Listed Building. They took great care to respond to a tricky and very exacting brief, to conform exactly to very tight planning regulations. They also did the work bang on schedule, bang to budget, and worked in tricky weather to install the windows on the top floor of a tall town house within the time schedule promised. Great care was taken throughout, while the craftsmanship and the communication with us, as customers, has been exemplary. Will happily recommend the company to anyone.

We commissioned a set of alcove-fitted wardrobes from Brothers carpentry, and were impressed with the service throughout. Rafal was friendly and informative at all times, providing realistic timescales and plans. When on site, they were clean and respectful, overcoming little obstacles (caused by an old house) as they arose. The end result is some good looking, solid feeling wardrobes. I would thoroughly recommend Brothers Carpentry.

Rafal and Janusz have been absolutely amazing! They have done a number of jobs for us including building shelves for our new build wardrobes and creating a beautiful outdoor space for us with a pragola and garden room which I absolutely love! They are extremely professional, hard working and have an attention to detail. Top quality work!!

Look at the difference! On the left are a set of 135 year old stairs that where falling apart and on the right my beautiful, refurbished stairs. And I adore them. I contacted Brothers Carpentry Ltd to get advise and a quote to replace the staircase. Rafal advised that the stairs where built into the house and would be a huge job to replace. He then suggested having overlays instead which would be less mess and more cost effective. No brainer!! The team arrived bang on time on the agreed date. To complete the stairs, it took 1 day, and they are superb. They look amazing, I chose solid oak with no knots as I wanted a modern look, which has been achieved. Rafal and Ollie, are the cleanest workers I've met. Apart from the lovely staircase, they left without a leaving a trace of dust. All rubbish was removed without question. I would 100% recommend Brothers Carpentry Ltd and will definitely consider th for our next project. Hi. I had these guys build a gazebo from scratch on site in 3 days. Some 5 meters wide and 3 meters deep. They are awesome. Hardworking guys who got on with the job with a high degree of skill. The quality of the materials they use are excellent. All solid and good quality. Their knowledge of how to build and construct properly is great. Cleaned up after themselves and left the place tidy at the end of each day. Thoroughly recommend these guys if you want the job done properly.

We have used Copycats on several occasions over the years.Most recently we have had them replace decayed windows and an outside door on our listed property with identical fittings. The standard of workmanship has been outstanding throughout and we are very satisfied with the results.

Our windows have been transformed this year. From replacement sashes with double glazing that look exactly like the originals but with the added benefits to new kitchen windows and stable door. Simon understood the brief exactly - the windows had to look the same as the old ones and the new kitchen windows (replacing ugly uPVC) had to fit in with the existing windows on the rest of the house. Our kitchen is transformed. We are delighted with all of the work Simon and Jasper have done and would not hesitate to recommend Copy Cats. True craftsmanship, true gentlemen. Thank you.

Our ancient steel window casements (in a conservation area) are being restored by a specialist firm that doesn't do carpentry. When the casements were removed, rotten frames were revealed. Copycats to the rescue. They made exact replicas of the original frames and worked with the casement restorers to ensure a good fit off-site. They arrived to fit the windows as planned and everything fitted perfectly. Communication was excellent throughout. The finished windows look amazing, and were cost effective compared to replacement options. We couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Copycats in particular for traditional carpentry for conservation projects and/or listed building restoration.

Copycats did an excellent job replacing two solid wood windows in my period property. Simon and team were excellent from start to finish, and the communication was great. They made and fitted beautiful windows, and they were brilliant at tidying up after themselves. I look forward to using them again.

Clive has created some bespoke cupboards in my cottage and I am delighted with the result. The cupboards fit seamlessly into the space and the oak top is stunning. Clive’s attention to detail and level of craftmanship is of a very high standard. A brilliant carpenter!

Rafal has created a fantastic bespoke banquette seat for our kitchen, tailor made to our very specific requirements. We set him a challenge and he delivered! Would absolutely recommend his skill care and precision.

In mid 2024 we asked several local carpenters to visit to provide quotes for various jobs we wanted to be undertaken including under stairs storage, additional fitted kitchen units and various fitted cupboards and drawers. When Rafal came we knew that he was the right choice before he even sent his quotation, he exhibited calm confidence and also a warm and friendly nature. And we were pleased when his quotes were very competitive. Rafal's work was to an excellent quality. He was clear in what was achievable and good at communicating when modifications to any design were needed to be made. Rafal was great at communicating before and after the work was done, both by WhatsApp and calls, and was amazingly flexible on dates when we needed to adjust due to materials not arriving in time. As a contractor myself, I was very impressed by Rafal's van setup which is super clean and tidy and shows that he takes pride in his work and presentation of himself and his profession. I can highly recommend working with Rafal and we look forward to having him back for additional work.

Rafal's workmanship is to a high standard, I am happy with the under stairs storage he made and fitted. Communication was a bit tricky initially (and I was really adamant I wanted Rafal to do this job for us, after seeing his amazing portfolio!), once we passed that I can't fault him for the job done. I also have to say Rafal is a perfectionist and wasn't fully satisfied with how the door was installed, so he found a way to make it work better even if that meant a couple more hours of work. We are overjoyed with our new wardrobes and dressing table. Torben made a bespoke hall door to replace one that was falling apart and which was unusable. Torben went to great trouble to save and incorporate the detailing of the original. Delivered as promised, fit to existing frame fine tuned on the day and glazier lined up to complete the project. Now we have a secure door that works.

Torben and his team have replaced 13 windows in our old house over the last 4 or so years. They are beautifully custom made and improved the thermal efficiency of our house massively. Torben replaced and renewed the facia boards on the front of our house and built and installed a new back door for us. The craftsmanship was excellent and the service was polite, professional and efficient. He and his mate Gavin also ensured that after the works were done everything was tidied up and clean.
