Look at the difference! On the left are a set of 135 year old stairs that where falling apart and on the right my beautiful, refurbished stairs. And I adore them. I contacted Brothers Carpentry Ltd to get advise and a quote to replace the staircase. Rafal advised that the stairs where built into the house and would be a huge job to replace. He then suggested having overlays instead which would be less mess and more cost effective. No brainer!! The team arrived bang on time on the agreed date. To complete the stairs, it took 1 day, and they are superb. They look amazing, I chose solid oak with no knots as I wanted a modern look, which has been achieved. Rafal and Ollie, are the cleanest workers I've met. Apart from the lovely staircase, they left without a leaving a trace of dust. All rubbish was removed without question. I would 100% recommend Brothers Carpentry Ltd and will definitely consider th for our next project. Hi. I had these guys build a gazebo from scratch on site in 3 days. Some 5 meters wide and 3 meters deep. They are awesome. Hardworking guys who got on with the job with a high degree of skill. The quality of the materials they use are excellent. All solid and good quality. Their knowledge of how to build and construct properly is great. Cleaned up after themselves and left the place tidy at the end of each day. Thoroughly recommend these guys if you want the job done properly.

We worked with Brothers Carpentry last summer to get bespoke, pull out, under stairs storage built. The guys worked with our ideas, their own ideas from experience and the bespoke requirements of things we needed to be able to access behind the storage to design and build excellent and quality storage. We've lived with it for a few months now and are really happy with the quality, finish and design. We've had lots of compliments. Thanks again!

After being let down by numerous other carpenters we were so glad to find Brothers Carpentry. Our first project was to utilise an alcove in our bedroom into a shoe/handbag wardrobe. They responded promptly and arrived when arranged, with an array of samples to choose (this was a first!) Great start guys! First impressions count, very polite and helpful. Quote arrived in good time and date was arranged. Communication was great. I absolutely love my shoe/handbag wardrobe. Exceeded all expectations and I’m so happy we were let down by others initially because I know the project would not have been as aesthetically pleasing. We then went on to use Rafal and Jan for bespoke corner units for bedroom and living room. Finally this week a bespoke wardrobe fitted, designs were agreed, changed and changed again with no issues. Very accommodating to our needs. Even took delivery of wardrobe doors whilst we were on holiday to prevent any delay to fitting date. Again exceeded our expectations and finally now have the organisation and a beautiful dream home. Thank you! Now, for the next venture…Rafal and Jan will be back to build my new aesthetics salon/clinic (Aphrodite Aesthetics) in our garden next year. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it as I know they will go above and beyond to bring my vision to life. We cannot believe our luck in stumbling across Derek on FB whilst looking for a carpenter. From the very first email to the last brush of paint Derek has been utterly outstanding. I highly recommend Derek's work!! Previously Derek built two bespoke alcove cabinets for my office and more recently he's built our master wardrobe. I could not be happier with the finished products. He is very respectful when visiting the house and is always pre-prepared, meaning this work is completed in an amazing time. I'm already planning for him to build our next set of alcove cabinets, and wardrobes for the kids bedrooms. If you are considering Derek for any carpentry, you will not be disappointed.

Couldn't recommend Derek enough. He is a true craftsman and a pleasure to do business with. Absolutely brilliant at communicating everything clearly, and was very quick at designing and fitting the cupboards just how we wanted them. He was also very honest and transparent about payment. I will definitely be getting him to design more for our house in the future, the shelves and cupboards are great.

Curtis has fitted oak, bi-fold doors for us and we cannot fault his workmanship. He is meticulous in his work, tidy and left the area he was working in spotless. We are absolutely delighted. A real craftsman.

I had been looking for a good carpenter for a long time, after a couple of let downs. I did a Google search of local carpenters and saw Curtis’s website. I liked the look of the reviews so asked Curtis if he could come round and give me a quote on a new landing balustrade, stair handrail and spindles. As soon as Curtis turned up I liked him, really nice guy, helpful and professional. I went with Curtis to do the work. His standard of work was exemplary, and he was prompt, tidy and professional. Curtis was at our property for three days removing 11 internal doors and fitting 11 new ones. Firstly, He is a really pleasant guy. He was very respectful of our property and decor and left the house clean an tidy. He did a great job with the doors and was kind enough to cut all the old doors in half to make it easier for us to dispose of them. Unlike some tradesmen he wasn’t interested in tea or coffee and only had the odd glass of water whilst with us.( Although he’d have been very welcome had he wanted hot drinks!) I would certainly use Curtis again in the future and have no hesitation recommending him for your carpentry needs.

Curtis made and fitted some bespoke under stairs storage units for us. We are so happy with them! Our hallway now not only has concealed storage but looks absolutely beautiful! Ted has done some great work for me in 2014 - we worked together to design this wine wall and Ted then built and installed it to a very high standard. He also managed all the other trades, Electrical, Air Conditioning and Glass doors. A complex job that turned out really well. Many thanks.

Ted built a cupboard for us to house our boiler and hot water tank. It was in a tricky spot with sloping ceilings and very few straight lines in a very old house. Ted did an amazing job to a really high standard, worked quickly, and always cheerful. Really happy with the work done!

Ted came to our rescue as we were let down by our staircase fitter half way through installation. His work and attention to detail is of an extreme high quality. Our stairs look stunning after he completed the work which included fitting glass panels. Highly recommend.

Ted has worked with us for three projects over the last year, 2024, a library, dressing room and media wall. These have been completed to an exceptional standard. We love so many of the details, particularly the attention to detail, the use of led integral lighting and the use of real woods. Ted came to visit to ensure he understood the brief, sent us drawings and ideas and then came to install on the dates he had promised. This is a rare thing with contractors, being on time, on budget and very helpful. Ted ensured the area he had been working was tidy and safe at the end of every day. Furthermore, even if the weather was atrocious, he turned up! He brought with him a tent to work outside on cutting and plaining so there was limited mess inside. We cannot commend Ted highly enough. He has delivered what we wanted with thought, creativity and care about our projects. Thank you Ted!

My new kitchen is absolutely fantastic! The design is spot-on, and the quality is top-notch. The installation process was smooth, and they really paid attention to all the little details. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do up their kitchen!

I had dean fit a kitchen for me last year and make some custom built in wardrobes at the same time. He turned up when he said he would and left the area clean and tidy when he was finished. There were a couple of issues with the kitchen designs(designed by myself not dean) and he was quick to find a solution and complete the project on time! I would recommend!

Dean did a great job. He was very punctual and answered any queries we had. Very pleased with the outcome and kitchen looks bra d new!

We asked Chris to replace our banister rail. He turned up when he said he would to measure and estimate and again to complete the work He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Good quality materials, a job well done.

Chris did a great job for me. Made bespoke cabinets for my living room and then I had him back to put new decking in my back garden. His work was excellent both times, and very reasonable in terms of cost.

Chris has just completed a couple of jobs for me including redoing the opening mechanism of my garage...which now opens with ease. He turned up when he said he would and left the work area tidy. I will definitely be calling on Chris for my next job.

I asked Chris if he could fit a couple of doors for me. He made some really good suggestions as well as having reasonable rates. Chris is a brilliant carpenter, really reliable and always leaves the job clean and tidy. I am really glad I found him and am looking forward to finding more projects for him.
