The Best Restaurants in Cecil, Kent, United Kingdom (2025)

Went here for a quick weekday dinner and it was great. We had our 3 year old with us and our waitress Stephanie was wonderful. She was super sweet to our boy and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was very good and came out really fast. Had the shrimp scampi, 2 lbs of steamed shrimp, crab spinach artichoke dip and a grilled cheese kids meal. The kids meal was only $7.50 and came with fries, apple sauce a drink and ice cream. I think that's a great deal! The rest of the food was a little expensive but not outrageous

First time visiting this restaurant and had a pleasant experience. The restaurant is quaint and cozy, loved the decorations they have hanging around. Unfortunately for us, they were out of blues but not a problem as it’s November. Instead I ordered the stuffed lobster with the crab cake, green beans and a twice baked potato and it was great (crab cake could’ve been a little more seasoned but still great). Also had the bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp, blackened and it was phenomenal. Also had some of my friends fried calamari, which I’ve never had before but enjoyed them as well. The best part of the visit was our server Ruby. She is a gem!! Her bubbly personality and professionalism was excellent and her energy was through the roof!! I can’t give her enough credit! She made our visit so much better…thank you so much Ruby!! I will definitely be returning!!

Checked Woody’s out on google. And their rating. And decided to give them a try for our 34th wedding anniversary. Definitely was worth the 1 hour and 10 minute drive. Plus the 50 minute wait time. Food was fantastic and delicious. Served hot. Pleasant staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant. If I could give them a 10 star review I would. I definitely will be going back in the near future.
