Ordered an afternoon tea as a takeaway. The stand, cups, plates, cutlery, teapot and delicious food were all delivered at a time convenient to me and in an extremely friendly manner. All the food was delicious and we enjoyed eating it in the comfort of our own home (which was handy as the weather outside was cold and miserable). We would definitely recommend.

An amazing shop. Love that it is basically there as a literal shop front for local artists and creators..Bought some upcycled tables here but a lot more small scale art, cards and craft.

We were given an Afternoon Tea voucher for Kent Loves. The tea was quite the nicest we have had, a wonderful and generous selection of sandwiches and cakes, plus scones with fresh strawberries, all attractively served in a tea-room just for us (with its own loo!) Absolutely delightful, we will be recommending it.

Outstanding venue! Excellent value for our accommodation because it was out of season and they’re looking to build trade. We didn’t eat there because although the food looked to be high quality it was unaffordable, given that the variety of food on offer was no different from the normal pub offer. For example, four small portions of bread cost £4.50, yet when I bought a whole loaf it was £4.00. Porridge alone for breakfast would have cost £6.00! Fortunately we had taken our own food to support my dietary requirements.

Firstly, absolutely beautiful food. We had the soup, lamb, crab tacos and the pie followed by deserts. All top class and faultless. Lovely atmosphere in the pub. Secondly, the room was amazing. Panoramic views of the countryside and far reaching views of the sea. Breakfast was also amazing, which was delivered to us at the morning. Excellent service and staff. We will definitely be returning, next time with the pooches!

First rate food. Delicious meals from Chef owner. Wonderful character old style country pub in glorious Kent landscape. Will come again. Four diners at lunch loved the food and atmosphere on a bright November 20th.

Just had 3 really, really, enjoyable nights at the BHI. Wonderful location, went on two lovely runs in the area directly on to the North Downs Way. Rooms were fine, great bath and shower, plenty of space. Lovely food, dinner and breakfast were great, in a wonderful atmospheric pub. (Amazing mushrooms at breakfast!) Lovely staff across the board , helpful, friendly, welcoming from reception, to the owner, to the cat, to the wait staff - all lovely. My one, single improvement point would be to have fresh coffee for breakfast over instant. Would absolutely come back - thank you for a lovely friendly stay.

We didn’t stay there. But had really great dinner! We have tried Vebison (deer) and meet was really great! The dish in general was amazing! Great amount of food, and it was very delicious! We also tried different drinks, ginger beer was nice. My colleagues got cocktails and beer and we all were happy with the place. Place itself very well decorated!

I have been staying at the Black Horse a lot in the past few months because it's a brilliant establishment. Firstly the Black Horse Inn is a beautiful pub. It has great food, friendly staff and lovely aesthetics. Secondly, the hotel is unique, always clean and priced fairly. The reception staff are always really friendly and make you feel so welcome. Highly recommend this place if you're staying in the local area or fancy going out somewhere for a nice dinner!

We booked for my mother in laws birthday and it was fantastic. Upon arrival we asked if we could have our cake (that we brought from M&S) lit up for dessert and they were extremely facilitating. We sat down and there was lots of room between us and other customers, this meant it wasn’t too loud. The toilets were clean, the staff are very friendly and the food was 10/10. At the end of our meal they brought out a second birthday dessert from them to my mother in law, which was kind and made her day. An overall brilliant experience, we would recommend highly.

I stay here regularly whenever I’m working away in Kent, probably a dozen or so times in the last couple of years. The rooms are spacious with good size desks, offering plenty of room for Teams calls etc. The food is great, so rare to be able to buy a vegetable when working away and I really appreciate the seasonal variety. Location is convenient, easily accessible by car or a 10 min brisk walk from Lenham station, direct line from Victoria. Lots of decent walks nearby for the summer evenings. Best of all is the exceptional welcome from Jozsef, Zoe, Julie, Norrie and the team. When working away multiple nights per week the friendliness really makes a difference, and man do these guys pull out all the stops. I tend to sit quietly in the corner whilst I witness countless locals pour out their souls speaking of divorce and regrets, all of which are handled with professionalism from the Elite pubs team. As I sit there admiring the patience of the team I can’t help but wonder what my own wife is up to 250 miles away from me. I assume she is enjoying a good film night with her bf. Until next time Wishful Thinker team, please keep up the good work. Giles

I have to say the whole experience was above and beyond what we were xpecting. Everything from the welcome to the cocktails, food to the walk around the grounds was exceptional. Thankyou to you all for making our stay just seem magical, it was a time that will live long in my memory. We laughed, ate, drank and discussed to the early morning and then some. Just simply amazing.

The service was wonderful. kiera and Becky looked after us making us all feel at home. There are too many names to mention they were excellent.Thank you for making it such a special day.

I was here for a complimentary overnight stay and was very wowed. Though getting here was a challenge from the train station, no local taxi service or Uber available, no walking paths, best bet is to drive! We waited for a while before the hotel then sent some of their colleagues who eventually picked us up. From the moment we drove into the grounds, it was stunning. Such a pleasurable group of staff who catered for our needs efficiently! We got checked into our rooms (each room has its own theme and no one room is alike) I stayed in the main building however there are nice cost cottages for families with kids etc The dinner was amazingly spectacular! Beautifully curated by their chef 😋🤤 So so great tasting honestly, he grows his own herbs and vegetables used and products are sourced locally from farms. They have their own bees that produce honey and lambs on the grounds. With vast acres of grounds, a lake, converted stable, conference and meeting rooms, private dining spaces, and so much more...this is one hotel that feels like a family home. The staff are happy and the guests seem happy too. The closest train station is lenham from London Victoria. The breakfast was beautifully presented to my room with so much to eat and their afternoon tea is one of the best around there. They host large outdoor events as they have the capacity for it. You will be pleasantly surprised with little touches of care and professional hospitality when you visit. We had a wine tasting dinner which was pretty good though I am non alcoholic 😊 the mocktail was lovely 😍 I recommend for all your event types as staff is happy to accommodate and tailor their services to your request.

A wonderful time staying here for the night. It was reasonably priced which meant the experience could go either way (good or bad) after reading the reviews I decided to book and very unusually the great reviews were right….the staff here absolutely make the place. The gentleman on checking couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The standout here however is the bar/restaurant which although pricey is outstanding….many restaurants these days promise fine dining and forget that includes the service as well. Matt in the restaurant deserves a shout out of his own, his attention to detail while serving was impeccable. Service with style. The grounds in the hotel are jaw dropping….our visit was winter with a howling gale outside (which did make the hotel feel more cosy) but during summer I’m guessing this hotel is absolutely beautiful with grounds to stroll around. Rooms are very nice if slightly dated….(that’s my only criticism) for me the rest of the hotel well and truly made up for this. Oh and the fast WiFi worked everywhere….why do so many hotels drop this now vital ball? I will stay here for business trips now too.

We have eaten here a few times and has always been very good. This visit was a Sunday lunch for nine people outside, and although most of the food was of good quality as usual and the staff very pleasant. Those of us that had the garlic lamb were disappointed as the meat was tough and bland. Three knives had to be returned as they were rusty and dirty and a glass had a crack in it. We were disappointed this time but will definitely return. It's a lovely old pub, and up until now the food and service has been excellent.

We went for the festive afternoon tea and it was the best we've ever had. The food was amazing and worth the price. The staff were really friendly and in a lovely setting - you can see why they win all the awards they do. Our only small grumble is the driveway - I've never seen so many potholes! But well worth the bumpy journey to get there.

My Husband and I 😁 got married recently, in a small intimate ceremony with just our immediate family. From the first meeting Lisa completely got what we wanted and along with Jo, Ben and the rest of the team they created the most PERFECT day. We got married on the Stags barn lawn with a beautiful countryside back drop, the food and drinks that followed were incredible and every person who attended commented on how amazing it was. I have always loved Frasers and on the multiple occasions we have stayed or eaten, it has never disappointed. I cannot recommend Frasers enough!

We had our small intimate wedding at Frasers. My husband & I could not have asked for a more perfect setting for our special day. Jo and her team were exceptional in all that they did. I booked the absolutely stunning Pond cottage for the night before with my sisters. It was the perfect place to stay and prepare for becoming a bride:). From the moment we arrived we were taken care of. Thank you Jim (the chef ) for cooking a wonderful evening meal and serving us :). Thank you Jo, & your team. You are wonderful and looked after us, ensuring every fine detail of our stay and wedding was absolutely perfect. We choose to have our intimate ceremony in the gardens, this was followed by an absolutely delicious afternoon tea for our 30 guests in the most stunning barn resturant and a wonderfully relaxing several hours in a private garden with outside bar with family. We couldnt have asked for a better day & setting for our wedding. Thank you everyone for making our day absolutely perfect. Love Jim & Trish

It was so lovely and Christmassy inside as well with the fires going. The homemade mulled wine was delicious too. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend a visit to The Ringlestone.
