The freshest fish and chips we have had for along time. Great flavour and big portions. Will definitely return.

Very tasty and not at all greasy, I stopped in this fish and chip place while I was at work for a quick lunched very friendly and polite staff and very clean deffo recommend

Lovely little restaurant overlooking the bay. We visited on a Friday evening - only outside seating was available when I booked, which was fine and even though it started raining, fortunately we were seated at a table for two along the front, which has a canopy over it, so we were dry and got a great view. Delightful service, and delicious food. A good range of drinks including for non-alcohol drinkers.

Loved it! Great food, staff and sea views! Although fish restaurant They had a few veggie options too. Great kids menu Very attentive waiter. Shame the bar area was a little bit messy which would be my only negative bit of feedback (kinda ruined the look they were going for - see photos) Highly recommend a visit though, the food was pretty amazing!

Oh my goodness, your team ACED my brother’s beautiful wedding meal/evening bank holiday Saturday!!! AMAZING food, fab staff, perfect atmosphere and you even nailed the sunset for them! Thank you all so much for your efforts, they had the most special day - it was all perfect! Special shout out to Lauren who read the room and interacted impeccably! Kelly was discreetly in full calm control and nothing at all was too much trouble for anyone - every want and need was met, all with a super relaxed atmosphere. Honestly, every person from our party was overwhelmed with the meal and service, so even guests who’d travelled for the occasion will be heading back to Finbars now! Lovely little restaurant with nice views overlooking the beach. Food was good, service was a little slow at times but satisfactory. Steak was nice but was large and not served with enough fries to balance, could definitely do with serving more fries with the steak. Chocolate Ganache was hands down winner of desserts, everyone loved it! Recommend a visit.

Had a few mandatory fish and chip suppers on the beach whilst on a short break - this place was recommended to us and am soo pleased it was. The food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. Staff are friendly and offer a cup of chips to nibble on whilst you wait. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area

Really good quality, everything super crispy and hot. You can tell the oil it's fried in new and clean. Very good prices and large portions.

What a true little gem by the sea. Everything was five star, food exceptional, great atmosphere ,clean . Made for a perfect afternoon. A very pleasing disabled toilet, very clean, lots of hand rails and no clutter ( so many people want to put extras in disabled toilets as there is so much room,reality is that room is needed) so big well done. We will return.

We had an excellent seafood meal here with our two young children. Food and drinks were high quality, the staff were amazing, really friendly and made sure our kids had colouring in paper and pencils to keep them entertained from the start. Great location, great food and top service.

We had a little sausage dog family meet up at St Mildred's bay. Highly recommend the place, very dog friendly, as we had 6 dogs between around 10 people. They not just care for the people, the whole team made sure the dogs had water and also some sausages for the sausage dogs🥰 The food was amazing and good size portions, we will definitely come back.

Amazing food, great service, classic atmosphere, if you're in the Westgate way I recommend coming here! (And bring your own alcohol!)

We visit Westgate-on-sea once or twice a year. We never miss a visit to this unique and fabulous restaurant. If you want the usual white shirts, black waste coat, fast food, plates removed as you finish the last bite, then don't come here. If you want a relaxing take your time, incredible food which is cooked as requested and not earlier and heated . The owner is so funny and cheerful. Nothing is too much. Prices are brilliant. Portions are great, always food to take home. I honestly couldn't recommend this jewel of a place enough. We've been here every year since we were told about it, so around 6yrs. Another great meal tongiht. Will be seeing you again next year. Thank for the memories.

The food was fantastic. Change from your regular Indian restaurant and all the better for it. Fresh ingredients and great quality. Service was very attentive and friendly.

The food and beer are very reasonably priced and the dishes are well executed classics. My vindaloo was nice and hot, and quite dark and angry 😁 and the portions are good. The service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely go again when I am next in town 🙏🏾 Oh my only observation is that there wasn't any background music being played which would have added to the atmosphere 👍🏼You've got to love a bit of Indian music while you crunch your poppadoms 😉

Honestly the best pizza ever. This place seriously knows what they’re doing in terms of flavour. Wish I could go every night… pepperoni pizza is to die for and their tomato base is unmatched.

What an absolutely fantastic place, we visited for a Saturday night dinner and it was perfection. The staff and atmosphere is so welcoming and chilled. The tomato and onion salad was a show stopper for me, such perfect balance of flavours . The pizza was just delicious with enough to take home a few left over slices. The cherry on the cake for this experience was the choc ice, white chocolate raspberry ripple, wow oh wow you will never taste anything soooo good! Cannot wait to go back!

Had a delicious meal last night, recommended by a friend. We had a green salad (big!) and the mac n cheese to share as a starter. This would have been enough for us really however we had ordered a pizza to share too. Everything was tasty. Service was super friendly. Wine was organic. Price was surprisingly excellent value - highly recommend ! Oh and the honeycomb choc ice was incredible. Left feeling stuffed & happy 😀 will be returning!

This establishment is a gem right on the sea front, great choice of beers spirits and wine in a relaxed and very comfortable environment. Staff are very friendly and efficient, not in your face but there if you need them. Their Sunday carvery is delicious and great value with a competitive price, set in a spacious and tastefully dressed wing of the building. Michelle..... the proprietor, is so pleasant, engaging and just wants to please her clientele. Can't more recommend you give this establishment a go, because you, like myself will simply want to return again and again.

Lovely pub, but no easy parking areas. There is a great view from this pub and they do instant table service which was fast and the staff were really friendly I had the hunters chicken which was okay but not the best I’ve ever had.

I’m an American visiting Westgate-on-Sea where I found the food, service, and ambiance at the Swan absolutely fantastic. The baked camembert was delicious as was the sea bass and my dinner companion’s Thai curry. Our server was extremely attentive and courteous, and the roaring fire and Christmas decorations made for a very cozy atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Lovely location and really nice staff and customers. Food portions are quite large but otherwise a nice place to visit. Has excellent disabled access.

What a fabulous little place. The seafood and fish was superb - fresh and prepared and cooked perfectly. Extremely good value for money. Staff were helpful, friendly but not in your face. Loved that it was also doggy friendly as our pooch was very happy also! Will definitely return!

A great restaurant right on the seafront. Was quite busy when we visited at lunchtime so no room inside but managed to get a table outside. Prompt service, with friendly attentive staff. Ruby was amazing & gave great customer service. Will be back.

We’ve come here a few times - and under new ownership this place feels cosy. And the food itself - as vegetarians we had a few things, but the butternut squash ravioli was actually really different: it really impressed me. Plus - the oat milk hot chocolate was expertly prepared. There was some unknown ingredient that really made it taste silky and lovely!
