As always, excellent from start to finish. Wonderful staff who go out of their way to help especially as we were with my elderly mother. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, with the roaring fire a bonus. Absolutely delicious, and innovative food, faultless. We look forward to returning in 2025. Thank you all.

My friend and I both thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Boys Hall restaurant. It was a special occasion and not something we do every day and we were both glad we booked Boys Hall. It ticked all our boxes. We were treated to delicious food that was carefully prepared and presented, friendly service and a relaxing and festive environment.

Nice atmosphere and ambiance. Not too big, not too noisy. Lovely fireplaces and the Christmas decorations were excellent. Coffee is great. Food was lovely- we had the shared porterhouse and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sides were nice, starters were very tasty. Service was mostly great and very friendly , except that one server dropped bernaise sauce on my partners lap and wasn’t that fussed about the fact he had stained his trousers. Nothing more was said or done and it did take the shine off of a perfectly nice lunch.

Love this place! It's a few minutes walk from my house so we come here for a drink quite regularly. Some friends and I had our Christmas meal here last night and it was delicious. It was also the first time, I couldn't manage everything on my plate. They do seem to have increased their portion sizes -certainly on the main-and that's a good thing. The food was delicious and well flavoured, the service attentive but not intrusive. It's always a joy to come here and the place is beautiful.

The koyla just opened today under new management and it’s incredible! The goat curry is so delicious—rich and bursting with flavor. The momos are fantastic too, really tasty! The mula ko achar and mango pickle are just wow, the perfect taste that paired so well with my goat curry and rice. The staff were very welcoming, which made the experience even better.Definitely a must visit! I wish I had taken more and better pics I was too eager to devour my meal!

A pristine fine dining restaurant with a warm welcome and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are attentive and the food which is beautifully presented is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and will certainly be returning.

Excellent food, tasty and well presented. Imaginative starters. The Nepalese touch works well. Highly recommended. The acoustics aren't brilliant if there's a noisy guest two tables away.

Recently had the pleasure of dining at The Koyla and the food was so delicious! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and was bursting with flavours. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

We visited on the first night after a friends recommendation and had a really wonderful meal. My wife left her sunglasses on the table so we returned on the second night we were in Ashford for another wonderful meal. Thank you so much for your service and attention to detail. Brilliant service and amazing quality produce. The lunch set menu is a steal for the quality of food offered here. We were looked after very well and the place was quite clean. The Italian vegetarian options were offered well and enjoyed the lasagne. The wine option by glasses could cover quite a bit more options, that was the only blip. Other than that, everything was fab!

We all know Wye is a beautiful village. But this little gem of a pub just makes it better. Have been many times now. And always have something different. The staff are just so friendly and welcoming. The food is just amazing every time I have never had a bad meal. My red husky also loves coming here on a regular basis just for the treats and attention🧡

This pub has an extraordinary atmosphere , excellent food like the braised sea bass or the partridge pate. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The staff is always around and open for special wishes or just a talk Unfortunately we cannot give more than 5 points. Adrien November 24

We've stayed here twice now. The latest stay was for 2 nights for my boyfriends birthday which included a family Sunday lunch for 14. Staff are friendly, attentive & helpful. Food is well done & generous portions & and as a coeliac I was well looked after. Our stay was near perfect. Thanks to all involved 🙌🏼

A truly lovely place to stay and relax. Breakfast was so tasty and varied. My room was clean, comfortable and loved all the extra chocolate treats made by the kitchen & a good old fashioned "choc tea cake" We enjoyed the garden & walked round the village as we were attending a wedding at Crown Lodge, thanks again it was very memorable .

Lovely and lively little pub in the countryside near Ashford. Spent a few hours having a quick lunch and a drink while watching The Rec live. Very good beers (including one specially brewed for the pub), good food (including the icecream) and a big collection of vynil records.

A great place to breakdown! Our motorhome starter motor packed in on site. The staff went out of their way to help us and put us in touch with a local mechanic who came out next day and fitted a replacement part to get us underway and onwards to France. It's a great venue for good food and beer and is dog friendly, as the name implies - but the quiz questions are too hard! So close to the tunnel too. Beware - all being well we will be visiting you again in early January 2025 (but we will avoid parking in the bosses parking space) !

Looking for a pub car park stop over in our 9 meter motorhome after crossing the tunnel, we had passed two that claimed “ample parking” but unaware you must be able to now buy smart car motorhome and not owning one we persevered, only to drop on this absolute gem of a place. Located on a very smart commercial / retail park, with massive parking, dog walks with foul bins, amazing views, the location was second to none. The venue was, as its name suggests dog friendly, the drinks were well selected and very welcome after 3 months in Europe ! The decor was as funky and inventive as it comes, and the street food was delicious. Well done everyone you have got every element correct on what customers expect, see you same time next year

Had the most amazing breakfast today, cool decor, good tunes and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know!! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

We had a lovely 2 night stay from 20/12 to 22/12 for our wedding at a local venue. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The beds were so comfortable and we slept so well. The food we had for both dinner and breakfast was delicious and fresh. The lovely people at the pub also went above and beyond for us to make our weekend special. Thank you so much! We Will definitely be back!

We held our small wedding meal here, hired the potting shed for our guests and it was perfect. Staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The venue is wonderful, it was private enough that you couldn't hear the bustle of inside the pub. Parking was great too. The food quality was fantastic and staff were super helpful when accounting for all of our dietary requirement variations. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Quirky old pub with great food and quaint bedrooms. Sunday roast and a vegetarian roast were excellent. Our bedroom had a chandelier. Comfy night sleep, then a tasty breakfast with plenty of choices. Friendly service. We only stayed one night but plan to return next year.

What a friendly pub, greeted and treated like special guests. Food was delicious, short rib was the best ever eaten. We can't recommend highly enough. And the bonus was being able to park our motorhome overnight, and discovering this is community run, well done community! We'll be back

Great country pub. Really nice classic pub feel inside and super friendly staff. Great outside seating area and the food is brilliant too. If you’re in the area it’s well worth stopping by.

The Farrier Arms provided a delightful experience that exceeded all our expectations. A quick call to confirm they were open and dog-friendly turned out to be a fortuitous decision for our evening plans. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and immediately felt at home. The Hobgoblin ale and a fine selection of wine were just what we had been waiting for, perfectly complementing the relaxed atmosphere of this charming pub. The addition of two cups of peanuts made for a perfect snack. Sitting in the garden with our three dogs was a serene and enjoyable experience. The garden itself was beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and welcoming environment for both us and our furry companions. The Farrier Arms is an absolute gem, and it provided the perfect setting for a cosy drink before settling in for the night in our VW campervan. We highly recommend this pub for anyone looking for a friendly, dog-welcoming spot with excellent drinks and a lovely garden to unwind in.

Have been visiting the pub for many years but never reviewed it. A great place to stop for a drink (they brew their own beers), for a quick grab or for a nice meal in their pub area or restaurant area. Their menu changes regularly (while they have a core pub menu), with special tasting events (dishes paired with wines). The field at the back of the pub is perfect for the kids to play football. Overall, one of my favourite places in the area.

Lovely little stop off for lunch on our way to Dymchurch. Great food, gorgeous decor, good prices, lovely service and friendly locals... a real hidden gem!

Out for Sunday lunch with friends, Great choice on menu, Sunday roast trimmings etc.Other pub grub available. Good choice of draught Ales and beers. Wine and spirits available. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Went on quiz night and had something to eat there as well . Menu was quite simple , sensible as there was a quiz , we both had scampi and chips ( £12 ) good value and quite tasty . The friend I went with is in a quiz team there so we joined and won the quiz which was nice . Found the quiz enjoyable . It was a little on the warm side in the pub but over all had a good night .

First time at The Woolpack but it won't be the last! We booked for a family lunch for 9. The food, mains and dessert course, were, without exception, first class! Freshly cooked, ample portions, great flavours. We were served by friendly staff and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We moved into the garden after lunch, only to be very pleasantly surprised at a lovely, well maintained, open, green space with seating areas, crazy golf ( for a minimal clubs hire fee) and climbing frame for the kids...plus a fabulous outdoor pizza place! I can't rate it highly enough. It's a hidden gem and definitely a place to return to! Thankyou Woolpack team! We've had a fantastic English pub experience, best one in a long time and certainly the best pub food!🥰

To our delight, the food arrived promptly, piping hot, and without the usual long wait times. It certainly feels like there's been a change in management, and if so, they're off to an excellent start. Wishing the new team every success – we'll definitely be back!
