Curtis made and fitted some bespoke under stairs storage units for us. We are so happy with them! Our hallway now not only has concealed storage but looks absolutely beautiful! Can very highly recommend Curtis, he is very polite and is very thorough and tidy in his work. The work was completed on time, the price very reasonable and as originally quoted. I had been looking for a good carpenter for a long time, after a couple of let downs. I did a Google search of local carpenters and saw Curtis’s website. I liked the look of the reviews so asked Curtis if he could come round and give me a quote on a new landing balustrade, stair handrail and spindles. As soon as Curtis turned up I liked him, really nice guy, helpful and professional. I went with Curtis to do the work. His standard of work was exemplary, and he was prompt, tidy and professional. Happy to recommend C.Perkins Joinery - we are delighted with the job Curtis has done for us (making and fitting a solid oak fire surround). At every stage he has done what he said he would, listened to our requests, provided samples of wood and advised us on finishes to ensure we got what we wanted, kept in touch about dates/timescales. Curtis has fitted oak, bi-fold doors for us and we cannot fault his workmanship. He is meticulous in his work, tidy and left the area he was working in spotless. We are absolutely delighted. A real craftsman.

Rafal came by recommendation and has now done several jobs for us fitting custom cupboards in living room and utility, remodelled some of our kitchen and fitted over 70m3 of wooden floor. He is superb, incredibly skilled, tidy, efficient and reliable. We will be getting him back to build fitted wardrobes later this year if he can fit us in. Can’t recommend him enough.

Rafal's workmanship is to a high standard, I am happy with the under stairs storage he made and fitted. Communication was a bit tricky initially (and I was really adamant I wanted Rafal to do this job for us, after seeing his amazing portfolio!), once we passed that I can't fault him for the job done. I also have to say Rafal is a perfectionist and wasn't fully satisfied with how the door was installed, so he found a way to make it work better even if that meant a couple more hours of work. We are overjoyed with our new wardrobes and dressing table. Very happy with the entire process from working with us on the design, comprehension of the brief, cleanliness/tidiness, reliability and most importantly workmanship and the finished products! In mid 2024 we asked several local carpenters to visit to provide quotes for various jobs we wanted to be undertaken including under stairs storage, additional fitted kitchen units and various fitted cupboards and drawers. When Rafal came we knew that he was the right choice before he even sent his quotation, he exhibited calm confidence and also a warm and friendly nature. And we were pleased when his quotes were very competitive. Rafal's work was to an excellent quality. He was clear in what was achievable and good at communicating when modifications to any design were needed to be made. Rafal was great at communicating before and after the work was done, both by WhatsApp and calls, and was amazingly flexible on dates when we needed to adjust due to materials not arriving in time. As a contractor myself, I was very impressed by Rafal's van setup which is super clean and tidy and shows that he takes pride in his work and presentation of himself and his profession. I can highly recommend working with Rafal and we look forward to having him back for additional work.

We hired Roy to do a fair amount of work for us over the years. Our first job was decking which he completed wonderfully, he’s installed our door for us and painted several of our rooms. We had a new fence put in around our garden with the help of Roy and we really couldn’t fault anything he’s done. He was polite, on time and his advice was invaluable. He’s the most reliable builder/ handyman we’ve ever had and we’ve been home owners for over 20 years. We highly recommend him for all things home related.

Roy has helped us with couple of jobs. He has done outside painting and also fixing a kitchen cupboard for us. He has done a great job. Very helpful with giving genuine advice. We will definitely be using Roy’s services again at our house.

Would defo recommend! Roy answered my enquiry promptly and came to fix a tricky issue with our bathroom window sil. The tiles had fallen through and the support structure was wet and in a matter of hours he had restored the base work and retiled & grouted the surface area. Efficient, professional, skilled and polite. Would definitely use him again

Our new apartment came with a difficult design challenge; the radiator was positioned right underneath where the TV needed to be. We knew our only option was to get something bespoke made, which not only looked great, matching the styling of our living room, but also hid the radiator, whilst allowing it to still function and fully vent its heat, as well as a slatted wall feature with shelves. Jake was without question the right man for the job, demonstrating his expertise and professionalism from the outset. He was always friendly, punctual, easily contactable, and really professional throughout the entire process. Jake carefully guided us through the design phase, ensuring that we were involved in every decision. He created detailed 3D drawings that allowed us to visualize the project and make any necessary adjustments before the actual build commenced. This collaborative approach was highly appreciated and ensured that the final product would meet our exact specifications. He presented us with many different options for types of wood and treatments, helping us to select the best materials that would complement our living room's décor. The final build looked exactly like the 3D drawings, which was incredibly satisfying. The quality of the build and the finish exceeded our expectations; it looks amazing and seamlessly integrates with the rest of our living space. We couldn't be happier with Jake's work. The bespoke TV cabinet not only solved our radiator issue but also added a beautiful, functional piece of furniture to our home. We would definitely use his services again and cannot recommend him more highly to anyone looking for a skilled carpenter who can deliver exceptional bespoke solutions.

It was hard to get into Jake’s diary with our project. However, Jake is one of the best tradespersons that has ever come through our doors. He was very patient with our search for the exact product we wanted, requesting multiple samples and bringing them for review. The execution was smooth, tidy, clean and very neat. Top quality finishing. And just a great character to work with plus incredibly diligent - staying till 7pm on a Friday to complete a section of work. Highly recommended for sure!

Couldn't recommend Derek enough. He is a true craftsman and a pleasure to do business with. Absolutely brilliant at communicating everything clearly, and was very quick at designing and fitting the cupboards just how we wanted them. He was also very honest and transparent about payment. I will definitely be getting him to design more for our house in the future, the shelves and cupboards are great.

We cannot believe our luck in stumbling across Derek on FB whilst looking for a carpenter. From the very first email to the last brush of paint Derek has been utterly outstanding. Everything he does is with love, care and total precision which is only narrowly beaten by his knowledge and expertise. He is the epitome of excellence and we couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend Derek's work!! Previously Derek built two bespoke alcove cabinets for my office and more recently he's built our master wardrobe. I could not be happier with the finished products. He is very respectful when visiting the house and is always pre-prepared, meaning this work is completed in an amazing time. I had a hideous 50's built in wardrobe that needed replacing, Derek made suggestions and sketches of what I wanted, measured up, built and delivered it, all flawlessly painted to my specs two weeks later, he had it all fitted and finished in a day, you would never know any work had been done, everything was spotless. Absolutely delighted. (I should add I'm his brother so you won't trust me but check out the other reviews...!!)

I hired the services of Martin for an extensive remodeling of the downstairs of our home. We had a new layout and new kitchen. Martin was always on time, worked hard, was very knowledgeable and produced an excellent finish. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a carpenter or electrician.

Martin came highly reccomended from a friend , we got him in and he carried out numerous jobs.. he hung a few doors for us, he also layed a laminate floor and done a great job changing our worktops and sorted some electrical problems out for us.. Sebastian recently carried out some excellent work to doors on our premises. He is a skilled and knowledgeable carpenter and well aware of the regulations required for fire safety too! It was a smooth, trouble free process instructing Sebastian - he was reliable, tidy and carried out the work with great attention to detail!

Sebastain installed 6 oak doors for us and was able to accommodate at short notice. His work was highly professional and we are delighted with the end result. Our door frames were not the straightest, but he made every door fit perfectly - highly recommend.
