Over the years we have had a lot of electrical work carried out by different electricians, some better than others. Matt carried out a full electrical survey of the house, identified a few faults, carried out some remedial work and fitted 2 external lights. He is very knowledgeable and meticulous in all his work, and it is nice to have everything working properly and know that it is all safe. Matt is highly professional, turned up exactly when he he said he would, and left all the areas where he worked clean and tidy. I would highly recommend.

Linear Electrical are the best tradespeople we’ve ever used. Matt was professional, completely reliable, and incredibly friendly while offering very competitive pricing. We contacted Linear with a few issues which were not straightforward and Matt took the time to take us through all the options and what would be best. Nothing was too much trouble and when the work was done it was to a very high standard, with the area left very tidy. I would recommend Linear Electrical to everyone - fantastic service.

Chris recently completed a job chasing in new plugs and switches for us. From start to finish Chris was fantastic. He was quick to answer my call, send across a quote and book me it at an appropriate time. He was polite, tidy, and talked me through what he was doing at each stage. He was also super friendly and very competitively priced. It turned out to be quite a long job but Chris went above and beyond to ensure it was done before the plasterers arrived. I would not hesitate to recommend Eldred electricals and will definitely be using their services in the near future.

Chris has completed two jobs for us. Installing a electric hob and replacing all lights and fan in bathroom. He was efficient, very reasonably priced and great attention to detail. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Really excellent work done in a few hours in my first full day in my new flat- radiators replaced with a simple, slick replacement as requested, new light fittings from the choice kindly provided, new bathroom light which was really needed and a good replacement too - very reasonable rate indeed. Scott carried out a complete replacement of our ageing central heating system in July. Existing Baxi back boiler removed together with hot water tank in the airing cupboard and all the pipework and tanks in the loft plus a switch over to mains pressure. New combi boiler installed upstairs together with new radiators throughout the house. A real professional at his job and very happy that this expertise was available locally for the work done and knowing he is there for any future work that may need doing.

Really impressed with the service, came round promptly to quote, could have quoted for a replacement hot water cylinder but gave an honest opinion that a repair could be carried out and save the extra expense. Was then able to come the next working day to do the repair, worked cleanly and quickly and happy with the outcome, saving me £1200 of cost another plumber had quoted me for without the option of the cheaper repair.

Scott is absolutely wonderful. After commenting on a post I'd written in our local community facebook group about a suspected faulty gas oven after we'd moved in, he attended at short notice and quickly identified the problem. Throughout the whole process he was professional, personable and always turned up when he said he would. Attached are photos when the old oven was removed and the new one which he fitted. After just a couple of days, we had to call Scott out again unfortunately this time for our faulty boiler. He managed to squeeze us in at short notice right before Christmas and kept us updated as best he could. To anyone looking for a Gas Safe Registered Engineer, I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Been here a few times now and can say that it’s definitely time to commend this beautiful coffee shop. Delicious food and incredible service - nothing ever too much trouble for this lovely team. I’ve tried various items from the menu - I just love the Asian twist! Hot honey halloumi on the most gorgeous sourdough! Onion bhaji wrap and the poached eggs and avo - wow! My go to spot for a coffee catch up and girlie brunch. Cannot recommend enough.

I love this family run coffee shop owned and run by Ruh & Georgia. Its beautiful surroundings add a touch of class to the high street it’s what I’d call boujee. They have a great selection of food great breakfast choices or lunch they also do take away they have some tasty cakes and if you have never tried a paratha desert you should they are delicious. The coffee is freshly brewed and its the best coffee on the high street in my opinion.

Best coffee shop in Kent! Friendly service, amazing food and great selection of drinks. Really appreciate the attention to detail, with the stainless steel straws, instead of the paper ones that disintegrate in most other places. Tried their festive mint hot chocolate today and it’s a 10/10. (Also, don’t pass up on their sweet chilli chicken bites)

Absolutely amazing coffee shop; lovely staff, very welcoming owners. You're made to feel welcome and at home the second you arrive, until you decide to leave. The coffee is amazing and there are lots of flavour choices. As for the food... wow! So, so good! It doesn't disappoint and is so much nicer than supporting a large chain with the same old menus and lacking syrups! 10/10 would choose over any other place nearby!

I have been very pleased with the recent installation of a combi boiler and radiators with Kentish Plumbers. ‘You’ll eat in the kitchen’ Silke said; well it was some kitchen. In fact it’s an enormous modern stylish room, specially designed for Adrian the chef to cook and guests to eat in comfort. It makes for a great relaxed atmosphere. The food is imaginative, tasty and well presented; pub grub it is not. Three generations shared the experience of eating at Silke’s and they were unanimous in their delight.

Dining at Silk House Kitchen & Garden was an incredible experience and one of my highlights visiting Kent. It is run by this lovely couple, Adrian and Silke. They made sure we had an amazing evening. We were happily surprised by their flexibility regarding our allergies. They provided a multi-course set menu for us. The food was thought-through and nicely presented. We were given a tour of their serene Japanese garden, filled with koi ponds and wildlife. This added a nice touch to our evening. We will definitely be visiting again for this experience!

We were thrilled to join Adrian and Silke for one of their test kitchen openings to their recently launched Supper Dining Club. We were warmly welcomed by Silke and shown their beautiful and peaceful Japanese Gardens before being seated in the open plan kitchen dining area which has a relaxing and sumptuous ambiance overlooking the garden and ponds. Our meal was excellent with some highlights including an unusual chilled cucumber and avocado summer soup with olive oil dressing and slow roasted smoked chicken done on the Big Green Egg barbeque served with crispy roasted potatoes and a broccoli and parmesan dressing that we had never savoured before. The whole experience was friendly, accomplished, delicious and unique. We highly recommend.

Christian and Vikki really are great, and we would highly recommend them. They replaced our consumer unit and installed a number of lights and sockets for us, both internally and externally. Contacted Secure Elec to help fix an electric gate problem. Fast and responsive and just the best quality customer service. Charles replaced our hot water cylinder which was leaking. He was responsive and competitive with his quote and the installation was very well done. It required some pipe work moving, so which he did with no concern and the whole job was professional, tidy and completed without fuss. I would certainly recommend EHS.

Professional, friendly, quick and efficient. Charlie and Jason came to our rescue after we encountered a rogue builder. They were able to quickly identify our plumbing related problems and fix them including a roof leak, radiators and pipe related issues. They were also available and contactable at all times.
