Ian undertook the job of replacing the original wiring in my 1960s rental property. He was helpful, honest and informative from the first consultation, confirming and explaining the necessity of the work due to the poor insulation readings and age of the wiring, advising on the number and appropriate placement of sockets and switches, and highlighting the possible problems and potential extra costs that might occur during the job. He was punctual and easy to communicate with throughout and contacted me immediately to discuss any issues. Ian was fantastic at working round the couple of problems that arose, and was able to find solutions without saddling me with extra costs! When the job was completed he cleared up thoroughly. Ian is always my first port of call for any electrical work I might need. I trust his expertise and honesty and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Downstairs rewire, hob and shower rewire completed at residential address. The quote given was accurate, when the final invoice was received. We booked Ian (ETE Electrical) to carry out a survey of our building wiring, as he was from a local business. From quotation to completion of work, the service was first class. Ian attended site when stated, completed the work as agreed and left the premises very clean and tidy. He was professional and trustworthy. He made the whole process very easy to understand and explained what work he was going to carry out for us. We have now arrange for Ian to return every six months to maintain our fire alarm system, which is a comfort to know, as he clearly cares about the service he provides to his customers. We would 100% recommend anyone using ETE for their electrical requirements.

Installed a new small fuse box in my garage and fed a supply to a new shed and a summerhouse. Really great job completed 100% as requested and within the timescales and costs quoted. Everything properly tested and even done an extra job for me in a spare 10 minutes. Great job, thoroughly recommend.

Darren is a very personable and friendly man. I have used him to do numerous jobs, over the past few years, adding and changing sockets, changing and fitting most of our ceiling lights, fitting external sensor floodlights, fitting all of our external Ring security and also adding new external weather-proof sockets. I think on nearly every occasion I have been shocked by the cost, always expecting the work to cost more than Darren charges! Darren always responds to request messages quickly, is relatively quick to book you in, always keeps his appointment and is never late. I have recommended him to friends and neighbours on a few occasions and the feedback is always very positive. Call him, book him, use him, you won't be disappointed.

Brilliant! Darren stopped our house going up in flames so what more can I say 😂 Darren is a walking encyclopaedia of electrical knowledge and governance but explains everything in an easy to understand way. Was clear from the get-go on pricing, answers queries promptly, turns up when he says he going to and is honest. Work was completed quickly and efficiently, looking forward to him coming back to complete the other work we have that needs doing. I generally don’t feel comfortable around people due to social anxieties, but Darren is great be be around and loves dogs, so that’s all good in my book 😂

Hyland Electrical Ltd were recommended to me, and naturally you always feels sceptical of using a new firm to carry out works…. But I am so pleased that I went ahead and booked the electric works to be carried out by Paul and his team. What I loved about Paul, is that he listened to what I was wanting (my own little piece of Love Island…) and bless him he didn’t judge LOL. I explained what type of lights I wanted and where I wanted them placed in my new patio, and Paul went away, researched the lights he thought I would be interested in (based on our consultation), brought these lights to me to choose and voilà, before you knew it, they were in! Paul is really good at keeping in contact with you throughout the project, which was highly appreciated. He worked really well with the Patio team and they liaised together and therefore, I did not have to get involved or follow up with him, a big tick! Paul reasonably priced up the job and there were no hidden extras. A big Thank You to you Paul and your team, you truly delivered my little piece of Love Island.

I have previously had work carried out by Paul from Hyland Electrical Services and was very impressed with his workmanship and knowledge. I now live a long way from Kent so having Paul to carry out a repair was not feasible. After accidentally damage to my trusty hedge cutters I decided to call Paul for advice on repair. Calling out of hours on a Friday evening before a Bank holiday Paul could not have been more helpful. Paul has saved me the considerable expense that a new one would have set me back. TH Electrical are first rate professionals that not only completed the initial network wiring project to connect 6 externally mounted Ethernet cameras, 2 internally mounted Wifi Access Points, and 2 power sockets exactly as spec'd. ... but wait, there's more...they did not hesitate when the scope was expanded to include the installation of 10 recessed lights along with dimmers that replaced pendant lamps in 3 rooms. All of the work was accomplished in one, albeit long day with grace, tidiness, and attention to detail that I've rarely seen. The network termination area shown in the photo below did not exist until it was created by TH Electrical. It also supported the Internet fiber connection equipment. Brilliant!

Having used Luke previously for a small job, when I needed a Hot Tub installed, there was only one call to make! Sadly, Luke, who had been magnificent previously, was going on holiday (how inconsiderate, I should knock a star off for that alone :-)), he arranged for Charlie to visit and do the job. Charlie was everything you want from a tradesman, arrived on time, honest, well presented, friendly, explained in great detail what he was going to be doing and why he was going to be doing it. John and the team have been with us all week and they have done a fantastic job. Super professional and really friendly, most important their work is top notch! The team are a pleasure to have around the house, easy to get on with and really knowledgeable, Professional, courteous and respectful of any covid safety elements. They have done a lot of jobs for us, the main job was replacing lights with spots/down lighters in every room and changing all the switches to Lightwave smart switches so the whole house now runs on smart lighting. Additionally john fitted smart relays for our outside lights and programmed them all, and installed a security camera and extra sockets. Anything electrical I need in the future will be a call to john and Onic electrical. I would recommend them to anyone.

We recently fitted a new kitchen and needed a reliable and good electrician to help us with the basics, plus an intelligent lighting system. We found Onic on google and we couldn’t be happier. John provided transparent quotes and really good communication from the outset. Very reliable, knowledgeable and a high standard of finish,which is not easy to find. The work was completed under lockdown conditions and we were highly impressed at the measures John took to ensure all were safe throughout the work.
