I was thrilled when Espressbros arrived in Ashford, finally high quality coffee made by proper baristas.The coffee is so good that I don’t add any sweetener because it’s perfect as it is. I often succumb to one of their excellent hand made cakes too. One other really good thing is that don’t charge for alternative milks such as oat, other coffee shops take note! Service is great and the team are super friendly. More people need to try them out - although I’m tempted to keep them a secret so it doesn’t get packed out, which it will when people discover this little gem.

Popped in for coffees when visiting the area and we were intrigued by the other reviews as we love real barista made coffee and not the large chain places. Glad we walked down here, nearly missed the location (on the corner near one end of bank St.) The coffee was carefully made and tasted great, we didn’t eat as it was a bit early for us. Definitely will recommend and will be back 😊

A gem of a coffee shop. Hands down the nicest coffee in Ashford. The owner really cares about the quality and flavour of the coffee (unlike the mass produced brands!) Great to drink in or grab for on the go. Has a real community feel to the venue.

We recently had Switched on electrical service come in and do a full rewire on our newly purchased property, As you can imagine we felt slightly overwhelmed with different quotes, but had been recommended to Steve by a family member, and thank god we did. The way Steve and the team went through the process step by step, made things a lot more transparent and gave us a better understanding of what was required from the start. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend!

Steve is fantastic, so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Offers great electrical design advice as well basic electrics advice and plans: Having just moved into the area, I was overwhelmed with how many local electricians there are but Steve was recommended and was a great find. He has come to do small jobs at late notice and has also done all day jobs for me. Everything is left tidy and he is very reliable. Would highly recommend

I cannot recommend Steve and Switched on Electrical enough. Where most Contractors tell you what you need without taking into account your ideas, we may not know everything but our input is also valuable and Steve took this into account after many bad experiences with other Electricians. It was nice to speak to someone who was so clear and concise and took our needs into account when planning the work moving forward. We knew what we’d be facing everyday, as we’d planned this ‘TOGETHER’ so we could make arrangements. Always tidied up after themselves, ensured our safety at all times and was so polite. I’ll reiterate again, I cannot recommend Steve and Switched On Electrical

This has become my favourite hot drink establishment of choice when anywhere near Ashford Train Station. Wholesome Hot Chocolate and Marvellous Mochas for me. Service is very friendly too. Definitely give this place a try if you can.

What's not to love? A superb example of how a community rail project can provide an excellent facility to the local community using existing buildings. Also great friendly service and a good selection of drinks, bakes and light snacks. We should all get behind and support initiatives like this, you won't get it back when they are gone.

We had a cooked breakfast at The Signal Box café at Hollingbourne station this morning. Excellent food, good coffee and tea selection and a friendly atmosphere. After sitting empty for years, the traditional Victorian station building has been sympathetically refurbished with comfortable tables and chairs and even fresh flowers on the tables. We didn't try the cakes but will do next time, they looked excellent!

This photo is taken from the back of the shop which is unfair. A crowd of us go in nearly every morning, for coffee. We have had breakfast, lunch and cream teas. There is also shelves ful of ideas for presents. The staff in there are wonderful and polite.

Ian undertook the job of replacing the original wiring in my 1960s rental property. He was helpful, honest and informative from the first consultation, confirming and explaining the necessity of the work due to the poor insulation readings and age of the wiring, advising on the number and appropriate placement of sockets and switches, and highlighting the possible problems and potential extra costs that might occur during the job. He was punctual and easy to communicate with throughout and contacted me immediately to discuss any issues. Ian was fantastic at working round the couple of problems that arose, and was able to find solutions without saddling me with extra costs! When the job was completed he cleared up thoroughly. Ian is always my first port of call for any electrical work I might need. I trust his expertise and honesty and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

We booked Ian (ETE Electrical) to carry out a survey of our building wiring, as he was from a local business. From quotation to completion of work, the service was first class. Ian attended site when stated, completed the work as agreed and left the premises very clean and tidy. He was professional and trustworthy. He made the whole process very easy to understand and explained what work he was going to carry out for us. We have now arrange for Ian to return every six months to maintain our fire alarm system, which is a comfort to know, as he clearly cares about the service he provides to his customers. We would 100% recommend anyone using ETE for their electrical requirements.
