Dr Cox is a friendly, passionate and knowledgable tutor, his flexible approach and willingness to tailor his methods have made a world of difference to the mathematical aptitude and confidence of my son in the final year of his A levels.In particular, his approach of setting exam questions for homework and working through any mistakes have worked really well for my son. We are aiming for an A - A* and with Dr Cox's help this should be well within reach.

Stephen has been helping my son prepare for the TMUA and I honestly cannot recommend him enough. His friendly and thoughtful personality puts the student right at ease and then his commitment and focus on providing material tailored to his specific needs is an absolute joy. I am also very impressed by the detailed feedback he provides, always prompt when answering email queries, always on time for lessons and forever willing to listen and give additional support. Stephen is an exceptional tutor. He has been guiding my son in preparing for the MAT exam, and I honestly can't recommend him highly enough. My daughter was worried about achieving the GCSE grade she wanted so asked for tutoring. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m blown away by the progress she has made in just a few weeks. Steve puts effort into making sure the content of each session is tailored to her by setting homework to check progress and understanding for the next session, he also sends me feedback each week. When my daughter doesn’t understand any of the work she likes the detailed way he explains it without making her feel incapable. Steve's gentle and positive teaching methods have boosted her confidence. I highly recommend Steve.

We currently use him for maths but as they get older we will also be looking for science tuition right through to GCSE. Khalid has been phenomenal with my son in preparation for his GCSEs. We were in need of a maths tutor as he was struggling, both with the subject and with his confidence. Khalid has been an absolute godsend, improving him in both departments. From the get-go, my son was so impressed with Khalid calm and composed learning techniques. He compared this with his school teachers where any questions asked they needed to refer back to their notes, not with Khalid, he knew everything instantly, which gave my son confidence. What attracted us to Khalid, on top of his really good teaching review, was his expertise in exam preparation. The techniques he used and thoroughly went through each lesson set the foundation and this really did help my son when I was going through some of his past papers. And then, you don’t just acquire Khalid superb knowledge, he provides you with so much revision material whether it be revision guides, work books or past papers, all of these really did help. Khalid would use the work books and past papers and set small homework’s between sessions and would spend time marking it and provide feedback which was so important. My son went from not particularly liking/enjoying maths, to it being one of his favourite topics. He thoroughly enjoyed attending the lessons and would always come out of these very content with how it went. It was clear that Khalid cared for his students, would move things around to ensure it fit well, would be available if needed additional lessons and always provided feedback. Leading up to my sons exams, Khalid specialises in Physics as well as Maths and we were fortunate enough to get lessons for that as well. As exams approached, and throughout them, Khalid tailored his sessions around my sons exam timetable, going through Maths, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. If you’d have seen the difference between my son from his last mocks to his formal GCSEs exams, it was like looking at a different kid and this is purely down to spending valuable time with Khalid. If your indecisive to use his services, don’t be. Khalid has been an absolute godsend, we were so fortunate to find him, my only regret was that i didn’t find him sooner. Excellent! Highly recommend! My daughter is in Year10 amd does the higher Science tuition. She is loving it, her confidence has increased massively and in her own words she 'loves the small groups and the fact there is no distractions'. Huge thanks to Danny for that. The tuition so far has been a mix of some topics that she's covered so therefore allowed her to consolidate her learning and further her understanding and some topics that she hasn't yet covered in school...this has made her more confidence in class when these topics have been introduced. Win, win! I'd highly recommend no matter what stage your child is at. The knowledge amd confidence that they will gain I'm sure will be as valuable as my daughter is finding it.

Rose Tuition Ltd - We used the services of Rose Tuition after our son failed one of his GCSE's. I got in touch with Danny who explained what options were available for our son to support him with his pending resit in October 2024. It was decided that due to the short time frame we had before the exams, 1-2-1 tuition would work better for him at home. Mae Mae was our son's tutor and she was fantastic. She was very thorough and set him specific pieces of work for him to complete during his tuition time and for homework which targeted his needs. She respected our home and was such a pleasure to have. I am pleased to say he has now passed his GCSE English Language as of yesterday and I truly believe, he passed due to the 1-2-1 support from Mae Mae. Thank-you Rose Tuition

This was a thoroughly professional job Lee reroofed my small galley kitchen in a very limited space. He reset the roof at the correct angle, replaced all the rotted interior , fitted a new Velux window and removed and replaced the plastering on the external walls. All work was skillfully performed and fitted in with existing external piping, and he explained everything to me as he proceeded. It still looks good and does a good job, even in the extremes of weather we have had. I highly recommend.

We had a leak on an old tiled roof above our bathroom. Lee responded quickly to my message and came to look. He identified the problem and took photos to help explain what work needed doing. He told me what the options were and his quote was very reasonable. The job was finished to the highest standard, well repointed, good quality replacement tiles and felt. He was polite in dealing with us and our neighbour. Lee cleared away all the rubble after the job was done. This is the second time that he has done work for us, I would definitely recommend him as a reliable, honest, knowledgable and professional builder.

Lee has done a number of jobs at our property, the latest (Oct 2020) being rebuilding/repointing our 2 chimneys and rebuilding part of an existing extension (which had been bodged previously by someone else). We will definitely use Lee again when we next need building or roofing work done. He's open and honest about what needs to be done, does work to a high standard and for a fair price.
