In Nov 19 Derek fitted a new fuse box for me, rewired my cooker, new outside up and down lights and new down lights internally in my lounge diner & kitchen, with dimmer switches. He planned and actioned everything in between other work I was having done to ensure there was no risk of getting plaster & paint on the new lights, meaning he had to drop in and out a few times. We found Derek to be friendly, efficient, knowledgable, responsive, he explained everything well and the results are great; we'd have no hesitation engaging him again or recommending him to friends.

We were very happy with Derrick, he did a great job changing our fuse box, installing a CCTV camera and complete revision of the electricity and plugs and wherever he found something which required an attention he just fixed it. Very pleased for the service.

I've used Derrick twice over the last few years, once for a full rewire on a renovation, then again for a fault in a different property. Derrick is always efficient and reliable, with no job too big or too small. Five out of five stars!!!

I had my colour done with Leah Which turned out amazing thank you very much. I will be back as usual!! The salon is beautiful and clean and all staff very friendly! I also had an eyebrow wax and tint and for someone very fussy I was very pleased with the result! Thank you very much 😊

Always a pleasure to go into this salon & they offer the best advice as I have very dry skin which has now been the best it’s ever been. From facials to waxing nails & hair I don’t need to go anywhere else. Keep up the good work ladies ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I would just like to say being able to have everything done under one roof is a blessing from the hairdressers to the beauticians. This place is a five star all rounder you can have waxing, massage, lashes, makeup ,nails, eyebrows, hair and much more to offer all all under one roof. I’ve been very happy with all of my services from this business and the staff are very welcoming and take care of your every need.

Rang UC electrical and within a few hours they came, couldn’t believe it. The jobs were done speedy and efficiently and we were back up and running again with power and lighting straightaway. A rapid response was received by this company who completed the installation of a new 10-way mains fuse box making way for an additional fridge freezer. A clean, neat professional job was completed in record time. Then, another piece of work involved access to the loft to provide connections for two pull cord switches in two further bedrooms. The creative use of trunking meant redecoration was not necessary. I would highly recommend this company for any domestic electrical work.

This time for solar panels, excellent team work from start to finish, Tim even booked the scaffolding required to help install the panels, nice neat tidy wiring and panels level, lots of care taken to ensure we were happy! Tim back yet again , to check everything is ok, fit smoke alarms, put up chandaliers, fit 3 more double outdoor socket boxes, and transformer boxes, fit more down lights, and generally check all going ok with the solar panel system. I am very pleased with the service from Bulldog. They responded quickly to my initial enquiry and were courteous on the phone, email and in person. They turned up on time to replace a faulty socket and fit an exterior security light. The work looks good, especially the neat exterior cabling, and they tidied up after themselves. I would say that the price was very reasonable, especially considering how long it took to drill and cable the exterior light. Overall, I am very pleased with the service and would use again.

I had Jess do my hair and I absolutely loved it! She's so professional, so friendly and welcoming I can't wait to go back. I had a balayage for the first time, I wanted something more natural and lived in. Jess had a really thorough consultation with me and explained all the ins and outs which was so refreshing! I was so excited when I heard Alma was opening in Matlock, I had to book in as soon as it did! The booking process was so easy, all done online & confirmation given at the end. Upon visiting Alma, I was seated at the plush sofas and given a form to fill in. Once I'd done this, I was seated at one of the nail counters. I had my nails done with bio gel by Louise. She was so lovely, really friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. I opted for gold nails (a bit of sparkle for Christmas) and the treatment was lovely! I also had biogel toes so Louise asked me to take a seat by one of the foot spa basins. This was also lovely and I opted for navy blue which looked lush! I was also offered a drink which came with a gingerbread cookie. The salon itself is absolutely stunning - light and airy and very spa like! It's modern and classy and it's been renovated to an incredibly high standard! Prices at Alba are also super competitive! I'll definitely be visiting again and might have to book a massage soon! Thanks so much for such a lovely first visit to Alba, I'll be raving about you to all my friends and family! x

Anna has worked an absolute miracle! She completely dissolved my 6 year old lumpy, migrated filler, injected 1ml back in & this has given me the most gorgeous lip shape & restored the proportions in my face. Anna is a lovely person and such a competent practitioner. She tailors her technique/approach to each individual client’s needs, is incredibly precise to ensure she gives you the best result and it is obvious that she takes pride in her craft. Joseph’s Electrical installed a new Consumer Unit to the house, another consumer unit to the garage along with a new socket ring main, external IP Rated Socket Outlet, 20W Floodlight and Festoon Lights on PIR’s and a separate supply to an outside cabin. Excellent service and installation, we will be using them again.

Wayne and his team have seen to all our electrical needs over many years. They are responsive, professional and all really pleasant people to have in the house. Last week Wayne arrived on time (with a smile), wore a face mask and removed his shoes before entering the house. The job he did on this occasion was to fit 3 new LED light fittings perfectly and efficiently. Part of a previous job he did for us was to supply and fit an outside LED light which unfortunately stopped working after only a few months as it was faulty - no worries! a quick phone call to Wayne and he appeared the same day and replaced the faulty light, so we know that his after service is brilliant to. We would not choose anyone else to do any electrical work for us. He is very highly recommended.

Wayne was head and shoulders above the other specialist PV contractors we asked to quote to install solar panels and a storage battery. Wayne was able to answer all my questions during the quoting phase and he and his team were very diligent during the installation. From the outset I felt they were doing their very best for us, rather than a smash and grab - which was the impression I got from the other contractors we approached. Importantly it was Wayne I spoke to, rather than someone from 'sales'. Everything was well explained and after a few weeks of operation I'm really very happy with our system. If you are considering a solar-powered system then you won't be disappointed with Wayne. I'm glad we chose an electrician passionate about his craft rather than a 'pop-up' solar installation company that just want to get in and out.

I've been visiting Erika's Beauty for years now and have had a number of treatments including, gel nail manicures, the Brightening Facial with Joanna, lash lift with Erika and brow lamination with Aiko, Erika and Adelina. All the staff are professional, friendly and do an excellent job - they are perfectionists in their fields and I always leave the salon feeling fantastic! Biggest praise to Erika who I trust with my eyebrows - she always does an impeccable job with my brow lamination and I wouldn't go anywhere else now!
