As others have experienced - Andy and his team at Ferns restore your faith in high quality work and great customer service. We were provided with regular updates and pictures identifying what needed to be fixed and how they had fixed it. Andy uses high quality materials and pays meticulous attention to the task in hand. He keeps the site safe and tidy and is a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend him to others.

I would highly recommend Andy and his team following the work they have done on our re-roof. Due to the age and condition of our roof several unforeseen problems were encountered along the way, Andy always kept us well informed throughout and came up with solutions each time, at no point did we think the work wouldn't be finished to the highest standard. The attention to detail is second to none and you can tell that Andy and the team take great pride in their work.

Andrew undertook a complete reroof of our house including tiles, membrane, lead, and where necessary, remedial work to timbers. He also replaced our loft insulation and brought it up to standard. He is a perfectionist and would never cut corners but insures the job is done to his very high standards. He is an excellent communicator and kept us up-to-date with progress and any issues throughout the process. His team worked hard and he always left the site tidy at the end of each day. We would highly recommend him.

Andrew and his team have done several jobs at my home, including replacing our roof in 2021. The quality of workmanship is always excellent. It's no secret to his clients that Andrew is a perfectionist, and that shows in every job he does. But as well as first-class work, Andrew explains everything he does, and is keen to show the work as it progresses (you get a great view of your property from up on a scaffold!). As a customer, I am also reassured by the fact that whenever I've had any issues after the work has been completed (which is rare), Andrew responds immediately to contacts and invariably calls round to check in. The fact that I always go back to Andrew when more work is needed speaks volumes about how helpful and trustworthy he and his team are.

Naz and his team did a fantastic job landscaping our garden. From start to finish it was a stress free, enjoyable experience. We had a new patio installed, walling, screening and a bbq area created. The work was done exactly to time, despite having to deal with road closures and adverse weather. Naz’s communication was excellent throughout, we knew what was happening each day. Every decision was well thought through, with different options and their pros/cons discussed. We were away for a week during the work and had a video/photo updates each day, which kept us fully informed on progress. We’re really pleased with the end result, the work has been done to a very high standard. If you’re considering a garden project, and want a team that works hard, is trustworthy and gets the job done, I would thoroughly recommend Square Pear.

Naz and his team have just completed a landscaping project in our garden. We are so pleased with the outcome and they have been a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Naz had excellent ideas for what could work well in our garden. He always explained each aspect clearly so we knew what to expect. Once the job started, Naz, Sam and Ben worked hard every day, come rain or shine. They were also a pleasure to have around and always respectful of our property. Square Pear have been brilliant for our project. A really stressfree experience, Naz and the team have been great to have around. Prior to the work starting Naz visited a few times to discuss exactly what the project would involve. It really did feel like we were listened to regarding what we wanted and our ideas incorporated. Throughout the project they involved us in what was happening. The attention to detail and getting everything to link with other areas of the garden was meticulous. Heartily recommend Slater & Myles - we needed a full re-roof due to the age and condition of our 60s house and the whole experience was top rate. Quoted well from the off, with a full written quote rather than a spitball verbal figure, turned up on time and worked like troopers, finished when they said they would and did a fantastic job - it looks brilliant with some really elegant choices they made. The roof was in worse condition underneath than expected but they just cracked on, it needed two new beams but they just charged for material and not the extra labour. Very reasonable costs as well, which meant we elected to have the fascias etc redone at the same time within our budget. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Contacted Slater and Myles for a quote to repair a leaking roof. John gave me several options identifying the that issues he'd found and solutions at different price points, breaking down the work involved with each. More than one problem was found so we opted for a full re-roof and couldn't be happier with the completed work. The team worked hard through the snow, were always on time, we were kept updated on issues that they found and they were very professional throughout the work. I'd happily use Slater and Myles again for future projects.

I initially contacted Slater and Myles roofing LTD to provide me with a quote for a full roof replacement on my Victorian terraced home. Their communication was absolutely excellent from day one, and they arrived very quickly to provide us with a very well priced quote, alongside their comments on the condition of the roof and what they'd suggest. We decided to proceed with Slater and Myles and I'm extremely grateful that we did! The team were all extremely well presented, organised and always on time, their conduct throughout out of the whole process was immaculate. There wasn't the usual swearing or lingering smell of cigarettes etc. Every single worker was polite and extremely helpful and grateful for the drinks etc. Every single day they were on time, there wasn't any surprising extra costs being forced upon us etc.They always made sure that the site was cleaned up and safe after the day, this was particularly important within our shared yard with our neighbours who have a young baby, plus we habe a dog ourselves. John and Terry were the 2 in particular who carried out the works and the end product is to a very high standard. They both take extreme pride in their work, this was reflected by them even cleaning the gutters out after the work was finished! They were that good that even my neighbours have all commented on how friendly, respectful and professional they were throughout of the whole process, alongside commenting on the high standard of work that they have performed. I couldn't be any happier with the work. If you want a rushed, poor job then these guys aren't for you, but if you want top quality craftsmanship for an extremely good price then you'll certainly find that with these guys. I couldn't recommend them enough. They deserve every single cup of tea and every single biscuit that you provide them.

The team have done an excellent job fixing our roof - they went above and beyond to repair the valley guttering / flashing on our roof - showing us drone footage throughout so we could see what they were doing. Left everywhere clean and tidy and scaffolding taken down quickly! Can't recommend enough. 5 stars from us!

Sophie planned our daughter’s 18th birthday party last week end and we would highly recommend Luxe events. Sophie and her team were amazing, creative, professional, dedicated (in adverse weather!) and her attention to detail was second to none. She has such talented musical and culinary professionals and made the room look absolutely incredible. I called for an urgent installation of a new cooker, after my old gas hobs abandoned me. This was a non standard installation, because the cooker was a different size of the previous one and needed to fit between two units of my kitchen, which needed to be moved. I am very happy with the job - they have been responsive, organised, punctual and very reliable. I will definitely call them again in the future for small and big projects in my house!

Lawrence went out of his way to help us decide on what was best for us and kept within his budget and timescale. 3 times he came to visit and measure up and he never once complained. We called Ricky and the team out to fix our dormer roof that had heavily leaked. The overall process was super quick and they gave us really solid advice to help whilst the scaffolding was setup. The leak was fixed and has been in perfect repair since, and the new flat roof looks clean & well finished. Absolutely can't recommend these folks enough, great work, professional and speedy!

I called RW Roofing when I noticed a leak into my loft. They came round promptly and put me a quote together for repairing that and for some other work that needed doing but I had been putting off; replacing the top 3 rows of roof tiles and replacing the flat roof on a bay window. The work started the following week and was done to a high standard, the replacement lead flashing on the chimney stack was done very neatly. They also repaired some pointing on the chimney and the flaunching that they only saw once the work had started. The guys who came to do the work were all very polite and just got on with things in a professional manner. There is a 5 year guarantee on the mortar work and a 20 year guarantee on the flat roof in the event of any issues down the line. I have recommended RW Roofing to some of my friends who are planning on having some roof work done and I would use them again.

John and the team were excellent. We had a change in circumstances that meant changing the quote and work schedule which was all worked through and consulted over. The garden clearance and removal of ivy and weeds left the place looking like a whole new garden. The team went above and beyond, were honest what they could and couldn’t do and even gave some helpful advice on what to do next to maintain it. Definitely use these guys again.
