My first visit to this salon today for a curly cut and colour with Elysia. What a gorgeous and incredibly friendly salon. Everyone was so lovely and clearly work together as an amazing team. Felt totally comfortable from start to finish. Elysia did an amazing job, advising on colour and gave lots of hair care tips, listening to my needs and taking care to achieve great results. Staff were very professional, but also super friendly and easy to talk to. The whole process was wonderful, I had my hair dyed here and paid a great price for it. My mother had recommended this salon to me over other places she'd been to, and I can see why! I'd also recommend this lovely place to anyone that's reading.

We had Antony to do some fairly extensive repairs to our house and garage roofs during August 2024. The repairs consisted of completely re bedding all the ridge tiles and complete re pointing of all the gable ends including total replacement of all soffit boards. The workmanship and quality of materials were first class together with attention to detail. Antony was very thorough with clearing and removing rubbish every day and going above and beyond with additional work which wasn't charged for. He also keeps you well informed of progress and is also an extremely pleasant man. Antony loves a few mugs of hot, strong tea, but no biscuits though, without this affecting work output as he is very hard working. We would have no hesitation at all in recommending Mickleover Roofline for any roofing project large or small.

Antony was a lovely guy. He replaced the tiles in between our two bay windows. He did a fabulous job, really chuffed. Our house looks the best on the street 😊 Would recommend him to anyone. And would definitely use him for any other tile work.

We have known Anthony for many years. He is honest, hard working and has made an excellent job of releading around our chimney on our 230 year old cottage. Not easy! We had already paid to have it fixed by a different company who left us with a worse leak than we had before! We are now watertight and very happy! He knows his business inside out! We would recommend Anthony without reservation.

My flat roof was in a bad way and leaking badly. I had a few quotes which varied from £700 upwards. Some of the quotes appeared to be ridiculous and unrealistic. I finally made my choice of Jono and partners. What personable gentlemen. They came to my home and quoted me for the job and scaffolding. This was given in writing which made me feel comfortable in their practices, proving that they were not afraid to put money where their mouth is. Trust was both ways as no money was requested upfront. They trusted me to pay on completion and i trusted them to do a fantastic job. Scaffolding went up and in two days a new flat roof was under way. I asked Jono for proof of work by means of photos from start to finish. Jono delivered everything I asked and I was shocked at the state of my crumbling roof. After a full day's work my roof had been transformed accompanied with new facias. I was ecstatic with the end result as Jono delivered on his promise. For anyone reading this don't look any further. Your choice is Jono. You want a good job then I suggest you give him a call. I had two cowboys before Jono as there are too many people out there to take your money. Fortunately Jono is legitimate and honest restoring my faith in tradesmen.

They were very professional and friendly. The work was done to a very high standard and what they quoted was carried out. I am absolutely delighted with my new flat roof they have given me peace of mind. Although they planned to do it in two days due to weather it took three. Their cleaning up of the old roof was fantastic they did it very well leaving no waste behind. I totally recommend their services.

Jono, Rob and Paul, a very personable team that work together well. Their work is to a very high standard with a level of detail second to none. Jono was the only roofer that looked at the existing detailing and offered a solution, most just wanted to use plastic where ours and the adjoining roof next door are aluminium trimmed. A lot of thought went into the fall and drainage of the roof, resulting in a slight redesign which offered better drainage. I would recommend Amber Flat Roofing to all and already have passed details to two neighbours, who are seeking quotes.

These guys are amazing. They came at short notice and fitted me in for a full garage roof replacement, removing old leaking steel sheets and replacing with a complete new watertight and lovely looking new roof in two days. They cleaned up all the waste and even fitted in a soffit replacement on the house. They are lovely guys, lots of happy banter and you can just tell how much pride and attention to detail they put into their work. I am so so so happy with the new roof, not only is it watertight, it looks absolutely lovely and has transformed my garage completely. I cannot recommend this company enough and am so grateful to have found them.

Had my and my bridesmaids wedding hair done here. Great service Leonie did my hair and it was absolutely perfect and stayed perfect all day. All the staff here were super friendly made our wedding morning super easy. Leading up to the wedding leonie rang to double check everything which was fantastic piece of mind for a bride. Really reasonably priced too.

I had a free hair consultation last week with Natalie . I’ve had several bad experiences with hairdressers in the past , and Natalie understood everything I said , she went through the whole process with me and gave me all my options and information . When I came back a few days ago for my actual hair appointment , the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble , lovely friendly atmosphere. For the first time in many years I left a salon with exactly what I had asked for . Ive found my new hairdresser and I honestly cannot recommend Natalie or the salon enough . 5* service , staff and outcome , Thankyou !!!

Had my hair and nails done for my prom a couple weeks ago. Shown a picture of what nails I want and got the exact same nails I wanted( past experiences haven't done the exact design). Absolutely love my nails especially because they matched my dress. And also got my hair done with 2 half braids and curls and it was the perfect image of what I wanted. Would defo recommend this place to anyone.

So happy with my first visit here. I was just passing by and popped in to enquire about a full head colour/ colours. I met the owner first, who dropped everything to welcome me and had a full consultation including skin and hair test. I was booked in with Cami, who specialises in what I was asking for. I was looked after really well on the day, all the staff were very friendly and offered tea! Cami was professional, knowledgeable, competent and enthusiastic... couldn't ask for more. Not only was Cami friendly and funny, but I was kept in the loop as to what was being done throughout the process. The results are fantastic and I recommend this place to anyone 💗 Thank you!

Absolutely amazing hairdressers for the grey transformation! Vanessa and Sharna at 1717 are the only hairdressers who have confidently lifted my hair from red to grey. I have visited many hairdressers who have been unable to do this for me given I have been dying my hair for over 20 years! Really pleased - great staff with a great atmosphere. I went for a total look makeover where I change my extra long brown hair for a pink bob style. I couldn't be more pleased and happy. Both Sharna and Vanessa were so kind and positive that made the change natural and removed all my remaining nerves! They made me feel comfortable and at home and made my dream come true! I had an amazing experience at 17:17 Hair Salon! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Had an amazing curl experience with Georgia! After struggling to find a stylist with the knowledge to work with curly hair in derby, I was so grateful when Sally approached me and let me know about the new curl service her salon was offering. I learnt so much about my curls and Georgia ensured I was using my Only Curls products correctly, teaching me new techniques. Would recommend to all- whether you’re just finding your curls or an expert in your routine. Will definitely be back for my maintenance cut!

I recently tried the keratin smoothing treatment and I am completely blown away. My usually frizzy fine hair is so shiny! I woke up with sleek hair (usually looks like a birds nest in the morning). Having had bad experiences with roofers in the past, we were very wary of contracting " unknowns" for the very big job of a whole new roof for our bungalow. Out of the 4 quotes we had, we chose Derby Roofing, as Tom and Ash were honest, up front and very knowledgeable. l am so pleased we did!!! The job took two weeks and is immaculate! They worked so hard every day and cleared up mess as they went along. We needed some cladding replacing too and they used a contact of theirs, Dan, who was equally as good as his job. They explained the whole process as the job was proceeding and honestly, were really pleasant to have around too! Polite , cheerful and thoughtful. In short, a perfect job, done by honest, pleasant men for a reasonable price. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
