I had Hayden come and lay our new flooring and beading around the edge he did a fantastic job, he was very punctual easy to get hold of and his quality of work was top notch. Price was very reasonable and he assisted us with buying the best materials with in our budget, I highly recommend him.

Hayden did a great job replacing our timber cladding on the gable at the back of house. He was very polite, friendly, honest and hardworking. Excellent communication throughout. He took away all of the rubbish and did a good job of tiding up afterwards even though it was pouring with rain! Would definitely use again and highly recommended.

Hayden fitted all of new internal doors - 13 of them. Excellent work, went through the costing of the work carefully. He as able to source the doors and furniture we wanted. Was respectful of operating under present Covid 19 requirements. We are very pleased with the fitting,. Highly recommended.

1st time trying this place, has a cosy atmosphere, nice and clean. Great value for the set menu at £14 per person! Papadoms and a generous serving of pickle tray, nicely presented and tasty starters, followed by delicious curry with a choice of nuns and rice which was also excellent and a scoop of ice cream to finish. The only problem I have is the time it takes between courses, could be a bit more fluid as it is a weekday and not that busy, but overall a pleasant experience.

A very busy night to be sure for Bengal Kitchen but that didn’t stop us being attended to like we were the only ones there. Lovely friendly chats with the owners, a real warm atmosphere. The food was superb. Would highly recommend the kebab mix for starters, wonderful meat cooked perfectly. Will be returning definitely!

First time coming since the new owners have taken over. We have always enjoyed coming here for a curry, but tonight with the new owners, the food was brilliant- especially the Onion Bhaji and naan breads. Lovely service and looking forward to coming again, thank you!

Staff were very professional, but also super friendly and easy to talk to. The whole process was wonderful, I had my hair dyed here and paid a great price for it. My first visit to this salon today for a curly cut and colour with Elysia. What a gorgeous and incredibly friendly salon. Everyone was so lovely and clearly work together as an amazing team. Felt totally comfortable from start to finish. Elysia did an amazing job, advising on colour and gave lots of hair care tips, listening to my needs and taking care to achieve great results. Colin replaced a kitchen window for us. Needed to fit in with a world heritage site. Made of hardwood and pre finished. Whole replacement took about two and a half hours. The job looks totally awesome. Cleaned up nicely afterwards. To say we’re pleased is a massive understatement. Would highly recommend Colin and team. Five Stars easily earned

We recently had some traditional sliding sash windows made by Tatlow for our house in a conservation area. We are so pleased with them, great quality and they look beautiful. Colin and the staff were so helpful through the planning application process too, nothing was too much trouble. I’d highly recommend them.

I have been going to Boss for cuts and colour for the past 4 years since moving back to Barrow…I wouldn’t go anywhere else, I leave feeling fab every single time! All the staff are friendly and welcoming and Adam is an AMAZING hairdresser!

Dave gave a very reasonable estimate for the jobs I needed doing. All jobs were completed with total satisfaction, an excellent finish in all aspects of his work. I asked for a slight alteration to one of the planned jobs which he completed to my specification with only a small minimal charge. I found Dave to be totally trustworthy, not only in his work but as a person and has a good patter to go with it. Excellent workmanship, trustworthy and good company. I have already booked him for another job in the new year and am sure it will be as good a finish. I’d give him 10 stars if I could.

Dave came to fit 6 internal doors, his workmanship is second to none, he arrived at about 8.15 and had a quick stop for his lunch, he was finished about 2 oclk!!! On top of this dave is a great bloke, I would recommend A joinery to anyone and we will be getting dave back for some other jobs we have. Thanks dave top bloke. Chris and pam

Dave has done a number of jobs for us after Wren Kitchens left us in a mess. He has been the antithesis of what Wren were as he's been incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and professional. Most importantly, he's highly skilled and we have been more than pleased with every job he has done for us including fitting skirting boards, beading, a new windowsill, upstands and a splashback in the kitchen, new doors, and best of all, crafting some shelving for us. In addition to all this, he's a top man which is always a bonus when you have somebody working in your home.

Dave has just fit 2 internal oak doors and skirting boards for the whole house, we are over the moon with the quality of work and at a reasonable price. We will certainly be using A Joinery again and recommending to friends and family.

Front of house staff very friendly from the moment we arrived, Service was very efficient but didn't feel rushed! The restaurant was very cosy and had a relxed atmosphere. The food was soo fresh and tasted incredible, packed full of flavour and plenty to chose from off the menu without being bombarded. Will definitely be going back

Recently visited on a Friday evening with my wife and honestly couldn’t leave a review to rate this place higher. Lovely size and atmosphere. Great setting. Very good service. Not too fast, not too slow, not overly fussy just perfect. The food was absolutely exceptional and I struggle to think of many better meals I’ve had! Loved it and will definitely be back soon.

What an incredible night at Leddy’s! Six of us wined, dined, and had the best time imaginable. The food? Absolute perfection. I kicked things off with the scallops, so good they deserve their own fan club. Then came the beef, which was so tender and flavorful it practically melted in my mouth. And that sticky toffee pudding? Let’s just say it was love at first bite! The staff were total stars—fun, friendly, and always one step ahead. Our wine glasses were magically never empty (how do they do that?), and their energy added to the already buzzing vibe. The atmosphere was spot on—relaxed, lively, and the perfect setting for a great night out. We all left with full bellies, big smiles, and plans to come back soon. Very happy with the work done by Anu. He fit three door locks and handles as well as a banister on the stairs. He was punctual and had all the equipment needed with him. He gave us different options beforehand so we can choose the items that suited our budget. He takes pride in doing a good job and on top of that seems like a decent guy. We’ll definitely use him again for the next job!

Excellent workmanship, efficient despite being very busy on his end and yet exceptionally accommodating. Anu listened to concerns about expense and provided a really good quote for the work needed, helpfully answered any questions, provided us with documents we needed to keep track of expenses and carried out work as quickly as possible. While his colleague, Jay, crafted and fitted a pvc window and door quickly and neatly. Highly recommend, would likely consult them in future for any repairs or carpentry work needed.

The Cove Carpentry team recently replaced my old wooden staircase fittings and posts with glass and stainless steel, found them to be both courteous and professional. They arrived when they said they would, were respectful of my home, covered everything up and cleaned up at the end of the day. In my opinion, they carried out the work professionally, and we are really pleased with the results. I would definitely use Cove Carpentry again. Many thanks.
