Judith was amazing!!! She took time to listen to my issues with my thinning menopausal hair. She made suggestions and I trusted her completely. She left me with tears in my eyes at the result. Gem is just the best. I have just had had luxury derma-planing followed by a back neck and shoulder massage. She is just so professional, makes you feel so relaxed and is just so good at all her treatments. I Would definitely recommend her, came out feeling really pampered and relaxed. Such a beautiful salon with such a lovely atmosphere. All the girls are fabulous.

You will struggle to find a lash tech who is as professional as Gemma! Availability is great and if there are any issues then they’re dealt with easily. The whole salon has a lovely atmosphere, everyone is approachable and you’ll leave feeling fabulous. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to Gemma and the team since the salon opened over a year ago. All the girls are so lovely, friendly and professional. There is just a beautiful vibe in there and you feel so welcome. They've became more than just somewhere I get my nails done, they've become so much more and I wish nothing but success for Gemma and all the team. Beka is my usual gal for treatment and she is an absolute joy and cares so much about getting everything perfect for you. Could not recommend anymore ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a cupping treatment today. I have never had this done before and was a little anxious however the treatment wasn’t painful and the results are amazing. I feel like I have had a deep tissue massage and afterwards I felt like I had more energy than usual and no pains in my back. I will be booking in again for this treatment and would recommend. Louisa as always is highly professional and explained the whole process to me so I was relaxed and enjoyed the treatment. Thank you

Attended the salon for my 6 weekly treat. Junior therapist Daisy was my therapist for the my pedicure, eyebrow lash tint and lip and chin wax. As usual we had a good natter whilst she did my treatments. Daisy has progressed enormously and as she does the treatments she has developed her own style. She is much more confident when doing all my treatments and has a business acumen to add to her abilities. Thank you Daisy

Had an amazing afternoon at the spa. It was lovely for us to be able to relax in the private area without having to share the facilities with other customers. The lunch boxes were delicious and we were able to enjoy them whilst sat on a comfy massage chair! I have been to lots of different spas and I have never seen one so clean - there wasn't an ounce of dirt anywhere. Can't wait to come again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They took my dog for a fractured bone operation on Friday night, and after the surgery finished on Saturday, both: vet and nurses, stayed in contact with me during the weekend, checking how the recovery is going and replying to all my emails. Highly recommend this Veterinary clinic!

I simply cannot thank the vets that took great care of my dog falling an attack from an off lead dog. Start to finish we were kept up to date. I have never felt more looked after and confident in my pets care than when I brought him here, the staff and nurses are all amazing bubbly and kept us at ease through a difficult time. He's hime now recovering. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕

This is the 2nd time my dog has had an operation. The staff are all caring and helpful. The vets explain the procedure with a follow-up apt. There is also an in-house physio to support the welfare of the pet. I would highly recommend these wonderful people.

The whole team are all very polite and helpful. Lucas had ruptured both his cruciate ligaments and has behaviour issues. I was very worried about him having to go through 2 surgeries and whether they would do surgery due to his behaviour. The vet we had Dimitris was very understanding and none-judgemental of my dogs behaviour problem and gave him the best treatment plan. He listened to my concerns and dealt with Lucas in the best way, as hands off as possible! Dimitris was always very professional and knowledgable. We’re relieved the surgeries are done and hope for a more comfortable future for Lucas. Thank you to the whole team from Sarah and Lucas!

Had my and my bridesmaids wedding hair done here. Great service Leonie did my hair and it was absolutely perfect and stayed perfect all day. All the staff here were super friendly made our wedding morning super easy. Leading up to the wedding leonie rang to double check everything which was fantastic piece of mind for a bride. Really reasonably priced too.

Thank goodness for Ellie! It’s amazing to have a vet who knows and loves guinea pigs so much. Coco has only just started her treatment but I’m feeling really at ease knowing she’s under Ellie’s care and expertise. The option of her video appointments for advice is also very helpful and reasonably priced.

So unbelievably grateful for both Ellie and the rest of the team at Derwent Valley Vets! They have been incredible in treating one of our guinea's who sadly had to have his eye removed after our previous vets showed little interest in adapting his care or changing his antibiotics despite little improvement in a month. When we came to Ellie, we were scared we were going to lose him; we knew we were close to the point of no return. Ellie and the team have absolutely given our boy his life back; even with one eye he is much more himself than we have seen him be in the last 2 months and we're so thankful. Even now, 2 weeks post surgery, we are in constant communication with the team, sending regular updates and receiving brilliant advice. I cannot praise this team enough! We travel 3 hours to see them, and will gladly do so for anything so important again because the standard of care is unbeatable. Oh, and they provided double the amount of treatment for half the price we were quoted elsewhere, so pricing is absolutely incredible value for the skills these guys have. Much love to everyone in the surgery, thanks for all you do!

I had a Zoom appointment with Dr. Ellie. I live in the U.S. and was thrilled to be able to meet with a guinea pig expert. She was thorough, efficient, caring, very knowledgeable, and invested. It was an extremely worthwhile visit! I also appreciated the extensive follow-up notes she provided and the time she took to compile them. I wouldn’t hesitate to schedule another appointment with her in the future when needed!

I have been using Poppies for a number of years now for both home and office and we have always found them reliable, professional, honest and trustworthy. Always love arriving to find a lovely clean home (and they make a fuss of my dogs) and our office is always of a very high standard and they are in and out before we arrive. Would highly recommend for both office and home cleaning.

Following an illness my house was very much in need of a tidy and deep clean. 2 lovely ladies from Poppies came and spent a few hours bringing it up to standard, I thought the price charged was very reasonable. We then booked them in to come once a fortnight to do a general clean of the ground floor and do not regret it. Anna (and occasionally Karen) are pleasant and hard working. They are always on time and best of all are flexible so that they can accommodate my husband who works from home. Even though I am now slowly getting better this is the best decision we have made recently and I look forward to seeing them regularly.

We've been using Poppies for over a year now. Tracey and Paula have been absolutely brilliant and we've not had a bad experience yet. Any feedback is always addressed promptly and we've never had a day be missed - they always find a way to cover sickness or holidays which is really great for us! We have three cats and a very(!) lively dog so I bet our house is not exactly a dream client house but our regular cleaners have always been amazing with our pets and very patient. Thank you!

I decided to bring my dog to this vet practice after all the amazing reviews. The vet was absolutely wonderful with my dog and I have no complaints about her. However the receptionist was unkind and unfriendly to us. I have a big dog - almost 100 lbs and my husband couldn't join us to the appointment. She asked me to weigh my dog alone - no one came to help me or asked if I needed any help. When the reception was busy and full of cats I have asked if I could wait in a quiet room as my dog could get agitated in a new environment. She have told me to wait outside even though it was a cold rainy day. During the entire time I had no assistance, no friendly manners and I didn't feel welcomed to the practice. I have joined their plan per suggestion of the vet and again the receptionist was quite reluctant to enrol my dog, saying first she will send the information via email. I have never received any emails from the practice including my invoices which makes me think if her cold manners to me it's regarding the fact that I am an immigrant and not a local resident. Which is a shame as their practice seems lovely and the vet is really good. After my first review they changed completely with me and my dog. I can't praise them enough about taking care of my Skyla.

Having 2 senior pets means a vet practice with a lot of care is so important. Gemma, Lisa and the entire team are so caring. Receptionists are so helpful and have sorted Insurance claims every 3-4 months and prescription scripts. Recently needed a dog’s Physiotherapy referral and Sarah sorted that over to Dr Lisa the same day. They are aware the cost of everything, not just pet care, has gone up and are communicative and happy to work with you to suit your pets and budget. My pets have a team of superstars behind them ⭐️

I changed my vets to Paw Print after a long time and a few bad experiences with another practice. In the short time that my Dalmatian, Bailey and cat, Sushi have been with them they have looked after them both wonderfully. I initially joined the practice after my cat had a partial tail amputation elsewhere, which had gone wrong, and had to have a full tail amputation. The care and guidance was second to none, and the vets take their time with you, are genuinely concerned and put you at ease. Shortly after, my dustbin dog ate something that he shouldn't have, and again, they were fantastic. The vets are knowledgeable, caring and kind and you are not made to feel as though you are on the clock. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you.

Great first experience yesterday with my 3 amigos. Very thorough, professional, helpful and friendly. Big shout out to Mandy for persevering in obtaining my dogs clinical histories, which was like pulling teeth, thank you. Thank you also to Katie who was professional, thorough, helpful and informative ( It was nice to see a familiar face ). To the receptionist who assisted me in completing the Healthy Pet Club forms and booking further appointments, thank you. The hospital was clean and everyone was very welcoming. Ample parking. I am so greatful to everyone at Dovecote vets for saving my cats life. When every cat owners worst nightmare came true on Sunday night our usual vet wasn’t open, so we rushed to Dovecote and I’m so grateful we did. After 2 emergency surgeries for 2 open fractures and 4 nights at Dovecote we finally got to bring our boy home yesterday. I will forever be greatful to Adrian and the rest of the team for giving Dexter a second chance at life. No matter how many times I rang a snivelling mess to check on him they were nothing but compassionate and assured me he was having so many cuddles and lots of fuss. They were completely gracious to my financial stress and eased my mind so much. Words can’t explain how happy I am he’s still here with us and it’s because of the wonderful team at Dovecote, a huge thank you from me and Dexter 💙🐾

Had an amazing experience with Justine recently when my dog was referred for an endoscopy. As young owners, River being our baby and first pet, we really needed answers to all of our questions. Justine gave that to us, she spent an hour before and an hour after all her testing to keep us at ease and explain everything in our terms which over the course of 2 months of Rivers bad health, we haven't ever experienced. Also shout out to the two lovely ladies on reception, no question was too much of an ask when it came to insurance claims etc. Wish I lived closer so these were my dogs go to vets. Came here in January after being referred by our own vets about my dogs glucose level wasn't coming down. First impression lovely and clean and friendly staff. We seen justine who was amazing she went through everything with us did plenty of tests scans etc which all came back clear. We have to give her updates and she has also kept in touch with us. Barney is now doing alot better We have got his diabetes and glucose level under control. Thank you.

Most of the time I don't like going to the hair dresses as they make you feel uncomfortable, but not at the second image hair salon, she make you feel welcome and comfortable to be there.
