This company was introduced to us by friends in October. Tom Mastin, the professionalism and communications impressed from the start. After a few months of pause and mulling options we were being drawn to a Tesla Powerwall 2 PV solution and were disappointed that Smart Homes Electrical didn't offer that any more. Never mind we did have another reputable and local company in tow. Imagine our delight when a chance contact in mid March revealed that SHE had resumed fitting Tesla batteries. Tom visited on 18th March and we ended up with a quote for the 14 panels, Tesla Powerwall, EV charger plus micro inverters which optimise panel performance across the East and West roofs wonderfully and which we had not previously heard. Oh, and this was a better quote with a good saving too. The work was booked in for April 2nd and 3rd. Ben and team were knowledgeable, effective and totally tuned in with our needs By 4th our bird netting fitter has been too, Ben had returned to complete commissioning and we were up and running. SHE admin and support from Will and Amanda was equally good. Highly recommended for quality, service, sound advice, professionalism, reliability and value for money.

From first enquiring about solar and our options regarding maximising the power/batteries etc, the team were excellent. There is no pressure at all and they even advised against extra panels as it would not give a benefit, other companies would sell you anything to increase the prices but Smart Homes don't. The work they did was outstanding and very considered in terms of dust generation and mess (hardly any mess at all but they asked if we could move our washing in just in case of any dust). The explanations and walkthrough about the system with the team once installed was again well considered. The communication either via phone or email is fast and they are happy to talk about anything to ensure your happy with your system. The installation team themselves are great, polite, helpful, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking at getting a solar system.

We would highly recommend Smart Homes Electrical. The installation of our solar panels was completed efficiently and quickly, the guys who did the job were a pleasure to have around our home and the internal work was completed with the absolute minimum of disruption. We were very impressed all round!

I cannot commend Smart Homes Electrical highly enough. In September '24 we were entirely new to the photovoltaic world. I sent an exploratory email to Tom Mastin and by return was informed that Will Chamberlain, their sales and support engineer was going to be in contact. We went through the various options with Will's knowledgeable help. Will designed the specifics of our proposed system and Ben, Jack and Tom installed the new system on a steep roof in Matlock over 3 days. The team was superb down to each individual; as a company they do what they state in their literature. They did a great job and the system is already delivering. The Tesla Powerwall 3 (battery and inverter) and the associated app are something to behold. I'm very impressed and recommend Smart Homes Electrical with pleasure and without reservation.

I highly recommend Neale. He is an excellent, skilled electrician - from the big to the small jobs - and a polite, professional, who gets back to you straight away, arrives on time and completes the work with a high level of service.

We called Neale in as we had no electricity in our bathroom and the fan in the downstairs loo was intermittent. We were very happy with Neale's work and he corrected the faults quickly. We would certainly use Neale Brendon in the future and recommend him for any electrical work.

My wife and I were concerned that our home was not as secure as it could be. Many thanks to Lee for his friendly approach and good nature. Electrical problems are not a problem at all when this pro is involved. This guy knows his stuff. The first time we had a short circuit with the switches. Lee came, replaced it and fixed it in a few minutes. I want to note that it was a weekend. The second time we had a broken electric cooker. We had nothing to cook on. Lee came, quickly figured it out, fixed it, advised what else needed to be done. And again everything works. Clean and fast work, clear approach and knowledge of his business. I recommend Lee and his team to everyone. Дякую друже Лі.👍

Amazing service! James came out to us a few months ago when Virgin Media cut through our electricity cable whilst installing fibre and didn't tell us 🙄 James came out at very short notice and identified the problem and advised us what to do next. He also gave us really useful advice about our ageing fuse box! Would highly recommend to anyone 😊

James came to supply and fit me 2 security lights. He did a perfect job, even wrote down all instructions for me of how to change settings etc. Lovely helpful, friendly and respectful young man, nothings too much trouble for him. He leaves everywhere clean and tidy and doesn't leave the job until your completely satisfied with the work. He went above and beyond for me, even helped me sort a Blink doorbell out at no extra charge. He's a thoroughly nice guy, the nicest tradesmen I've ever dealt with and he's very reasonably priced too. I would certainly recommend James to anyone 100% 👍 Victoria

I contacted James very last minute after the dishwasher had leaked, tripped the electrics and damaged the socket and plug. He was upfront about cost from the start, gave loads of great advice and did extra checks whilst he was here. James was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him.

Searched around for a local electrician who installed home EV charges and came across Plexus Electrical. Michael was very informative in helping us choose the correct EV charger and arrived on time and was quick and tidy in his work. Michael also gave a run through the EV charger settings and set up along with sync the app. Great service and would definitely recommend them.

I recently had a Hypervolt Home Pro 3 EV charger installed by Plexus Electrical, and I’m extremely pleased with the service. Both Michael and his assistant were punctual, polite, and efficient throughout the entire process. They arrived on time, worked seamlessly together, and made sure to address all of my questions and needs. The installation was quick, tidy, and done to a high standard. They even took the time to ensure I understood how everything worked before they left.
