Can’t thank Claire and the team enough for all they did to help decorate and set up our wedding. Their experience with weddings and the contacts they have really helped us and we certainly couldn’t have done it without them. Claire totally understood our vision from the get go and really brought it to life - it looked better than we could have even dreamed of. Her calm demeanour was a real comfort to us throughout. She goes above and beyond to help out and is a lovely easy-going person in general. We couldn’t recommend Village Green more!

Claire and Laura are literally the best team ever. Helped me through so many aspects of the planning from napkins to disco balls they were able to deliver every thing I could dream of and more. Their experience and skill for wedding styling helped me feel so reassured and relaxed as I could sit back and enjoy watching them make my our day come to life. My husband and I got married in August at Wildhive in Derbyshire. Village Green Events helped style the wedding and Laura, who was our contact, was amazing to work with! She leaves no stone unturned when it comes to her attention to detail and execution. Everything was so well thought out and her ability to foresee things you will need or might want is truly amazing. I went over my ideas with her and inspiration for what I was looking for and she ran with it and did an absolutely amazing job. Her communication is great too and she is quick to respond. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Claire for our wedding, and she was a joy to collaborate with from start to finish! The room styling was incredible and matched our energy perfectly. We knew we wanted pops of colour but were pretty relaxed about the rest—Claire took that vision and made it come to life effortlessly. She not only helped us bring everything together beautifully but also made the process completely stress-free, coordinating seamlessly with our other suppliers. I booked a curling master class with Hayley. I have been struggling for years to curl my own hair so I decided to attend the class. The atmosphere was so lovely and Hayley was so professional explaining and showing us all the different ways to curl. We then got to practice on our own hair and for the first time I managed to do it. I would definitely recommend 100% the curling Masterclass to all that struggle with curling their own hair. Hayley is very professional and helpful the best Hairdresser by far xx

After having a really bad experience at another hair dressers which left me dreading having my hair done else where. I went to Hayley who listened to what had happened to me. We talked through what she was going to do which settled my nerves and she gave me the most beautiful cut and colour I have ever had. 10 years on I still go to Hayley every 6 weeks as I will not let anyone else touch my hair. Fabulous person with excellent skills.

I hadn't had my hair cut in years (5+ years ago) so I was skeptical about booking in. However, I have just come out of my appointment and I absolutely love my new hair style! I showed Hayley pictures of the style I was going for and she's done exactly that. My hair looks so healthy and bouncy now. I was unsure how much to cut off my fringe so she said if I want anymore off just to message her and she'd be happy to go over it again, which is so kind! It was also at a really good price for what I got. Really happy with my hair and I will be coming back in the future!

We had a great deal of work done to the ground floor of our house resulting in the downstairs hallway and top landing needed to be decorated. Ben was recommended to us and we are very pleased with the work that he did and within a tight time-scale as we where in temporary accommodation, his attention to detail and the quality of his work means that we are more than happy to recommend Ben to anyone we will definitely be having Ben back for any other jobs that come along in the future.

As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! Victoria is the kind of person that is so on it as well and thinks of every little detail but is so creative and flexible in how she works to help and assist with whatever you need throughout the day. Not just for the couple but for the suppliers too! I would urge people to hire her and highly recommend Victoria as the lovely person she is and for the great services she offers!

We hired Victoria for the wedding day management for our wedding, and I can't say enough positive words. Even from the start during our intro call, to coordinating with vendors, to the final day wedding celebration, she exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant to hire someone for the day of coordination because I am a planner myself, but Victoria checked every box and she allowed me to unplug and really enjoy the day with my family and friends. Highly recommend her because of her organization skills, professionalism, and how pleasant she was to work with!

We hired Tor to help with our wedding in July and really cannot thank or recommend her enough. Our wedding was held at our family farm, and whilst this seemed like a great idea, we also had so many possibilities of things going wrong on the day. As soon as we had Tor’s input into the wedding, she gave us every bit of confidence that the day would run as beautifully as it did. From the week leading up to the wedding, all of our suppliers couldn’t believe how relaxed I was and this was definitely thanks to Tor. Tor was there at all hours to answer any questions, help me make decisions, and make suggestions that I definitely wouldn’t have thought of (without being annoying ha!). On the day of the wedding I was able to have such a lovely morning with the bridal party, and throughout the day knew everything was being taken care of which resulted in being able to actually enjoy our wedding day without any stress (which a lot of couples don’t get to do). Tor is such a lovely person and so easy to get on with, even if it wasn’t wedding chat we would still have a laugh.. we had so many comments from guests about how incredible our wedding was, how smooth the day went, and how fab Tor was behind the scenes. We have said from the start, hiring Tor was the best decision we made…we are also convinced she could plan a wedding on Mount Everest and it run smoothly. Tor we thank you so much for all your hard work, time and just being fab! You are welcome at the farm any time :) xxx

We hired Victoria for on the day coordination for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made during the whole planning process. She's detail oriented, passionate, and amazing to work with. No task is too big or small for Victoria, and the entire wedding ran so smoothly thanks to her help! Love this salon, I have been going for 10 years+ now. The stylists really take the time to make you feel special and talk through your requirements. Love to have my hair done with Kelly,wouldn't go anywhere else now, she takes her time and listens to what you want doing with your hair. Everytime she does my hair she surprises me with her good work and I am always happy how she's done my hair. Only reason I have my hair done only with Kelly is cause I like to stick what I am used to . Rhona and jayne are brilliant too i have seen loads of work they have done. Love to walk in the shop to see the lovely ladies 😍 xx

A small, local business but smashing out numbers and balloons for so many venues and parties - it's like they're a huge company! We have used Styled Events several times for birthdays and always have been on point - definitely recommend!!! *I made my own balloon arch - Styled Events are WAY better!

I used style events to do a 40 light up display and balloons for my partners party. The response and service was first class and value was excellent. We arranged times to set up at the venue and it looked amazing ans then collection after the event was seemless. I messaged style events to do a 40 light up display, the response and service was fast, a few weeks later I decided to add on my balloons, again wasn’t a problem, replied and we sorted the colours out very quickly. Then two days before I asked for a back drop… yes I know very indecisive person but they was able to accommodate this. They had contacted the venue and arranged times to set up, and they did it beautifully. Chloe made our special day very memorable, nothing was ever too much to ask. I had a song which was memorable to my Grandpa which wasn’t on her song list but Chloe was happy to practise and sung the song so beautifully whilst signing our certificate. Chloe was very helpful with giving me tips a couple of days before the wedding making sure the songs she sung for us lasted a good length of time. Oh Chloe where do I even start!? Being a wedding photographer myself, I had already had the privilege of witnessing Chloe sing at a wedding & knew how talented she was! When I then saw her advertise a competition to win her singing at your wedding, I entered and was lucky enough to win! On our wedding day, Chloe sang outside during the drinks reception, and then inside during our wedding breakfast! Her voice is so beautiful, and provides the perfect atmosphere on the day! Not only that, Chloe then surprised me with a performance alongside one of my bridesmaids that they had secretly organised... safe to say I sobbed!! After the wedding, Chloe sent me lots of behind the scenes photos and videos that she had taken, going above and beyond what could ever be expected of a wedding singer! I cannot recommend Chloe enough. She is not only a wonderful and beautiful singer but also in personality. My wedding was on 3rd May 2024 and Chloe had been in touch since the moment we had booked her almost a year before. I think she knew more about my wedding than most of my guests. Her singing was amazing, some of my guests thought we were playing a CD it was that good. My only complaint was that because I was the bride I didn’t get to hear all the songs she sang whilst the guests were arriving. If you are wondering if you should book Chloe, do it, you are missing out. I am so glad she sang at my wedding.
