Elegant Touch Beauty is not just a nail salon, it's an experience. The breathtaking view paired with the immaculate cleanliness and luxurious ambiance creates a truly special setting. Niamh was fantastic. She's not only incredibly skilled but also a joy to chat with. She helped me choose the prefect colour for my occasion and the end result surpassed my expectations. This was one of the best nail salon experiences I've ever had (Despite me using many famous ones in London) and I can't wait to return. Fatin x

From enquiring to booking (and rearranging due to illness) staff were cheerful, professional and helpful. Sophia greeted me with a smile and explained in detail the treatment I had booked. Two hours later I was leaving feeling thoroughly relaxed and feeling much better. Thank you so much Sophia.

My pedicure treatment was with MilIe think her name was, softly spoken young lady. The lady I had was lovely and listened to my wants and pressure when massaging my feet. The treatment was amazing and those views were great! Highly recommend to friends and family. All three girls were lovely and chatty,when they could join in as me and my friends were talking but including the girls into the conversation too. Lovely treatment by some lovely ladies

The new space is lovely. I went for my first pedicure (it was a gift) and I had Niamh (I think). She was great and did a fabulous job - I upgraded to gel nails which she liked and advised (again never had before). There are 3 spaces for pedicures to be done and they are quite close together so I would recommend putting your bag/stuff behind you on the seat and your shoes on the floor near the basin. The foot treatment and massage was really relaxing and the view of the Marina was gorgeous. I was offered a drink immediately when I got there which I appreciated as I hadn’t had my morning coffee, and everything was explained. Would definitely go back!

Fantastic job delivered by Lee and his team today. Called Burton Flat Roofing couple of weeks ago to get a qoute for my outdoor building roof and also to have a look at my bathroom roof as a water leak developed over some time, affecting ceiling underneath. Before getting a competitive qoute, Lee had a good look at the current state of both of my roofs and then recommend what needs replacing and changing, rather than just getting a qoute from someone just looking at the roof from bottom up and giving a price going through the roof! Lee and the Team turned up on time and done a great job, exceeding expectations. So, would recommend to anyone and use again for flat roofing.

Brilliant honest hardworking. After a really terrible job from a previous roofer (waterproof roofing ltd )who left me with a leaking roof Lee and the fantastic team sorted it out for me.The other roofer has conveniently disappeared and won’t answer calls to fix it. Lee and Jordan replaced our leaking felt flat roof with a rubber roof, repointed a valley, replaced a few broken tiles and corrected some guttering. Lee and Jordan completed everything to a very high standard, cleaning up as they went along. Excellent service from start to finish, friendly and professional: would highly recommend and will be definitely using them again. Everything looks fantastic, thank you so much Lee and Jordan.

Fantastic service. Lee and the team were prompt, diligent and hard-working. They replaced my damaged flat roof with a new rubber one in less than a day, and all for a very reasonable price. Honest tradespeople are hard to come by, but Burton Flat Roofing definitely go into my book.

I have mobility issues and the staff were so helpful. They made the whole experience relaxing. I was offered a drink as soon as I was ready. I had a very relaxing pedicure my feet feel and look amazing. I would recommend The Treatment rooms in Tutbury as all the staff are very professional yet kind and friendly.

With my usual therapist poorly I expected to have to reschedule another day, but I was accommodated perfectly with the lovely Gracie. She was just as excellent as Imogen and as always I was pampered and looked after in style!! Wouldn’t consider anywhere else… all work so hard, salon is clean and hygienic, each and every therapist is fabulous. Can’t recommend them enough!!

We had Carlo and his wife do our wedding day, we had photos and video of the whole day. They got every little detail and I’m so happy I picked this package with them. I can’t thank them both enough we have such amazing photos and watching the video is like reliving the day again! The lead up to the wedding Carlo was always at hand whenever I needed to ask something he was there and helped guide us throughout it all. We also had the pre wedding photoshoot which was also amazing and we even used one of the photos for our newspapers for the big day! I can’t recommend them enough not even just the photos but as people you really are lovely and so down to earth.. and this is exactly what you need and want in someone for your big day. We had so many guests complimenting the “photographers” saying how lovely they was and how much fun they was having. We booked Derbyshire Wedding Events for our wedding in September. We had Carlo as our photographer for the day. He is such a down to earth person and interacted very well we the bridal party as we were getting ready and also the groom and the guests. We had lots of fun with him taking random photos that you wouldn't even think of! We were laughing all day with him. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer, we've had the photos back already after only 6 weeks, they are beautiful we are very impressed. His communication throughout put us at ease too, lots of my guests commented on how good he was and I must say very good value for money too. Will highly recommend! Simon was recommended by my sister and husband. I had a problem with the ridge tiles, he came along quoted me a price and a week later the ridge tiles were replaced by an excellent team, also solved a further issue for me. I would definitely use Ark Roofers again.

I contacted Simon and he came round to give me a quote on a leaking flat roof. The quote price was as expected. Due to the weather his team could not do the repair on my flat roof straight away, but as soon as the weather improved and he could fit my repair in he sent his team round. 3 of them came and i could not fault them. They were all polite and kept me informed. The job was completed in a day but a a small area was missed. As soon as i spoke to Simon the day after when he came to take payment he understood and sorted the missed area straight away with no issues and before i had to pay. His team came round within half an hour and fixed the missed area. Brilliant. All rubbish was cleared from my drive as promised and the flat roof looks so good now. I would definitely contact Simon again and would recommend them to others who need a roof repair. Thank you Simon and the team.

Just had my gable, dormer and porch repointed, and I'm well pleased with the work Peri did..... the pics speak for themselves He couldn't have been more helpful, and even sealed my lead flashing on the porch, replaced a broken tile and a few other bits too!!

Peri and the team were great. We'd been struggling to get a roofer for our extension and they took the job on for a good rate. Delivered good quality work and communicated well throughout. Lots of advice and came back for a follow up when needed where it was a 2 phase job.

Peri has been brilliant from start to finish. He came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. He turned up when he said he would to give us a more than reasonable quote and then kept us fully informed as to when he would start the job. The work itself was completed to an extremely high standard (after we had previously been ripped off with a bodge job) and Peri has kept in touch after the work was completed to ensure that everything was ok and that the repairs were all good. Added to all of this is Peri's down to earth but professional attitude and I would happily recommend his services to one and all....Cheers Peri

Venue dressing and flowers for my wedding were done by Lola Rose and they were absolutely perfect! Great communication beforehand and managed everything with the venue on the day, so we didn’t have to worry about it ourselves. Nikki was an absolute pleasure to work with! We had a vision for our wedding venue and she did everything she could to make our wedding dreams come true. We had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic and Nikki did everything she could to help us move everything to our new date....and keep us calm. Finally we arrived at my daughters wedding day (14th May 2022) third time lucky due to covid and it was so worth the wait. The venue,food and weather were perfect. Lola Rose were amazing making changes to both colours and settings without hesitation. I cannot recommend them enough the wedding room looked magical and we didn't have to worry about a thing just enjoy the splendour. Just come back from my lovely slice of heaven hair appointment, My hair fairy godmother Emmy was as brilliant as ever. She is welcoming, friendly and her hair knowledge is second to none. When I first came to Emmy my hair was so damaged and thin. Now with Emmys care she’s made my hair healthy and the condition incredible. Emmy has been doing my hair now for a couple of years after me switching a lot between other places before and never really finding someone who made my hair look and feel as good as Emmy does! The salon gives such a relaxed and friendly vibe which is a nice place to spend over 3 hours there as I have a huge head of foils on each time! I wouldn’t go anywhere else, thanks for being there :)

Sharing because of the awful troll review I’ve just seen on insta stories! I started coming to Harpers in April 2022 and will be going for many, many years to come. Emmy has always been polite, chatty and kind to me. Always offering a drink top up, asking if I’d like the heater or fan on when I’m hot or cold, even moving me upstairs where nobody else was sat when I was having a bad day one time. I have never, ever received such incredible, empathetic customer service elsewhere in my life and will never forget the care I received that day. I was made to feel like an actual human being, when so many other salons treat you like you’re just another customer that pays them money. I also love how Emmy does my hair (obviously). The advice she gives on products, too. Not too pushy with sales, just genuine recommendations on what will work and what won’t. That’s always nice in a salon. All the other ladies in the salon are friendly and welcoming, as well. I once attended an appointment with my little dog and he was thoroughly entertained and doted on by the staff. I would recommend anyone to Harpers. Unfortunately I live in Chesterfield so most people I know go more local but when my daughter is old enough she will be coming with me to Harpers so that’s one extra customer I can make sure enters their doors, and I know she will be welcomed with kind, friendly faces just like I always have been :-) Ignore the troll review, some idiots have very sad lives they have to leave fake reviews under different names to make them feel better for a few minutes. Cowards!

Recently started using Fiona and have followed her into this new venture! I went to the new salon once prior to lockdown, and all appropriate safety measures were in place. I have very wacky hair colours and Fiona is never afraid to attempt what suggestion I have next! Even though it’s a time consuming process she always remains so calm, and her time management is amazing! I would not have the patience to do it myself! Amazing quality, amazing prices! I have a mad head of hair, curly and a little unkempt when it gets long. Not many places can do a decent job of it. The Haven fitted me in at short notice, because I had a date I wanted to look good for. Fi did an amazing job, real eye for detail and clearly cares that the cut was good and I was leaving feeling confident. Really recommend it, dead homely and seemingly is trying to use natural and sustainable products which is always good.

Just moved to the area so was nervous about finding, and placing my trust in a new hairdresser.....I need not have worried!! Fiona took the time to listen and understand what I wanted in terms of both cut and colour. She absolutely delivered on both counts. Plus, she is a very warm, welcoming person, who made me feel at ease from the minute I stepped into the salon. Fantastic!! Highly recommended.
