Gav has done loads of work I'm my home since I bought it. From plastering to bespoke shelves and cupboards, skirting boards to hanging door, he does it all including some teaching along the way. I couldn't recommend him enough!

I would highly recommend his services. He doesn't charge the earth and does what he says he will no fuss.

The question you should really be asking yourself is why would you not get Gav in? Offers up clear and fair estimates and a real attention to detail in what he delivers; little things like a proper clean up of the area or looking to maximise the use of the materials purchased, just go a long way to cermet a top-notch service. He's also just a really nice guy. I've engaged him a few times now and is absolutely my go-to to get projects done I can't/won't do myself.

I chose to ask Dave and Caroline to do work on my house on the strength of their reviews, I was not disappointed! Initially the paths were jet washed at a third of the price 'requested' by a previous contractor, holes in floor tiles were repaired, wallpapering done, gutters cleared and the porch painted. This time, the kitchen was refurbished, with new wall tiles, worktops, sink, taps, hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The finish was excellent, I noticed that Caroline was shaving 'dust' off a wall tile in order to ensure a correct fit and Dave simplified the intricate 'Heath Robinson' under sink plumbing. Dave and Caroline went beyond expectations, both worked late to make sure that I was not inconvenienced and all with a cheerful attitude. I was thrilled with the result, and will ask them to return to plan and execute changes to the bathroom. Thank you to you both for such a fantastic job and for the tea, soup and hot buttered toast!

He came on time as agreed , surveyed the area and understood my budget. He shopped around for me to get the best quality material to meet my budget. Lucky and Son fitted a 17ft (5m by 3m) by 10ft metal garage which required bolting to the ground. Also, the garage assembly required 100s of screws to be fitted. They provided a professional quality service, fitting the garage exceptionally, preceded by a quick prompt honest transparent quote. All this was carried out with humility and character. Ben recently completed several jobs around the house for me (ranging from installing a new dishwasher to repairing an old wooden window frame, grouting the hearth tiles to repairing a kitchen cabinet door). I would highly recommend Benvale Home Maintenance - Ben was happy to tackle a variety of issues in our house including fitting a dishwasher, a complicated problem with fitting a cooker hood, putting up blinds and basically anything else we asked him to help with. No job is too much for him he just gets on with sorting everything and I wouldn't hesitate to book him again.

Ben did a brilliant job for us repairing our leaking gutters which had been poorly installed. He was also incredibly helpful offering advice for other issues we had with the house. I wouldn't hesitate in using Benvale again or recommending to friends and family.

Albert was recommended to me through a friend. He fitted 7 internal doors over 2 days. His work was of a very good quality and the price was spot on. He also cleaned up as he was working which isn't always the case when having work done. I will definitely use Albert again in the future.

Albert has been absolutely fantastic in the service he has provided. We have had all external windows, doors and patio doors mastic’d. Two broken extractor fans replaced, a set of patio doors readjusted and a new lock, fitted new blinds and a new shower screen.
