Johan provided a top rate service. He restored our broken Futon Company oak sofa bed back to full working order , which was not an easy task. Johan is very friendly and very skilled both in finding solutions and in the quality of his finished work. I would highly recommend him.

Johan recently completed some work for us to locate the source of a water leak in our downstairs WC and repairing water damage to our internal walls and timber work. We are very pleased with the job that Johan has done for us and he was really good at explaining things to us as he was doing the work. Johan was very prompt in responding to my request and skilled in many areas. I requested him to decorate my downstairs loo. He made me a bespoke boxing in of pipework which was removable incase of any future plumbing problems, with tiling and decor. I was pleased with all his work and although I thought his day rate was high once I considered the skill and time involved I realised this was a fair price for the work undertaken. He did also give me a time frame in which it would be completed minimum to maximum which is unusual for workmen. This took him 2 days and am pleased with the result.

I contacted Johan regarding boxing in my old fireplace and making a bespoke stud wall to cover under the stairs and create a media section. He was extremely professional, kept me upto date on times and days and discussed design ideas taking onboard my needs. The finished products exceeded all my expectations, the craftsmanship was simply superb and the cost was extremely reasonable, given the attention to detail, and skills involved. If you want a professional job then I would highly recommend Johan. I'm definitely retaining his number for future works.

Had a great experience with Hasan - just about able to do any task that needs to be done. He tiled our bathrooms, fixed our plumbing, painted walls and ceilings, assembled furniture, and travelled across the whole city to collect items for us. He’s hardworking, reliable, and really goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done properly. He’s also really flexible, making it easy to fit the work around my schedule. Peak Renovations converted an old, large detached garage in my garden into annexe accommodation for my mum. Our experience with Peak Renovations has been brilliant. While having building work done is not an easy process, Ben, James, Chris, Jaz, Tom, Phil, and all the guys who did work on our loft conversion have been fantastic. The work is to a very high standard and we are thrilled with the result. We were kept informed throughout, communication was excellent which made the whole process much smoother. The work was done on time and on budget, which we are extremely grateful for. The guys have all been super friendly, respectful of the house and us (and the dog - who is especially going to miss having them around), and have all been a pleasure to have around. Simon did a great job putting up a curtain pole for a heavy thermal door curtain. He is professional and friendly and made sure that I was happy with the job. He also did a short repair of a light fitting, which was very good of him, as I had not arranged this in advance. I'll definitely be asking Simon when it's time to start on that ever-increasing list of jobs that need attention.

Simon has installed an electric radiator in my elderly parents house. He gave us wonderful service and piece of mind. It was nice to know i could rely on Simon to provide such trustworthy service during these difficult times. He prioritised work ahead of other jobs due to their vulnerability, at his own doing without prompting. He is now fixing up their tired kitchen and no doubt will be able to assist further in the future. Tradesmen like this are hard to find, it's just a shame I can't keep him a secret !

I’m very pleased with the work Simon has done in my home, and I highly recommend his services. He initially did a tricky job in my bathroom that involved both joinery and plumbing. He quickly identified the causes of the issue, clearly explained the repairs needed, and followed this up with a written estimate. During the work, he kept me well informed and did a thorough job to a high standard. Needless to say, I had no hesitation in booking him for other jobs - he came up with a straightforward solution to sort out a damp issue and did a top job of fitting skirting boards. Whilst doing the work, he pointed out an issue that needed a gas fitter and helped with a contact. He is friendly, trustworthy and works very efficiently. A battered old porch needed some major TLC. Dan and Ben not only made it look brand new but painted it beautifully too. No worries about dodgy builders with these guys! Had a new kitchen fitted and plastering done to walls. Service from Level Best was first class from beginning to end. Every aspect of work carried out to perfection, plumber and electrician visits co-ordinated effectively, achieving smooth running and the place was tidied up as much as possible each day. Also, Dan's expertise on what accessories to buy was invaluable. Price was very fair.

I've used Level Best since 2017 when during a thunderstorm one Sunday evening I discovered rainwater pouring in from above my kitchen window and door. That left me blindly trying to find a tradesman to assess the issue and fix it. Fortunately, Level Best were on hand to offer sound advice, practical solutions and reasonable prices. I've since had many jobs carried out by Level Best from roofing works, re-pointing, floor joist repairs, lintels replaced and most recently a bathroom remodel, all of which have been done to the same high standards of craftsmanship, and with a professionalism that is second to none. So much so that I am already planning my next project with Level Best. If you are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable and professional company to assist with any and all aspects of building work, who will turn up when they say they will, not try to get you to have more work done than is necessary, whilst charging a fair and reasonable rate, then you won't go wrong with Level Best. I was very nervous about finding somebody to help with a multitude of jobs which would normally require several tradesmen as there is lots of people that claim they can do everything, but doing it to a good standard is another. I can honestly say it was a pleasure having Ben here, he was not only a pleasure to have round, he was extremely tidy, very fairly priced - the hourly charges generally work in the favour of the customer as he doesnt stop, he had stripped some very old lining paper off for us which was not the easiest but he was patient to get it all off without damaging the walls underneath, he also ensured he put the room back together to enable us to use the room until the plasterer arrives. We will definitely be having Ben back round again.

Ben recently completed several jobs around the house for me (ranging from installing a new dishwasher to repairing an old wooden window frame, grouting the hearth tiles to repairing a kitchen cabinet door). I found Ben to be professional and friendly, organised and neat and tidy in his approach to the work. I would highly recommend Benvale Home Maintenance - Ben was happy to tackle a variety of issues in our house including fitting a dishwasher, a complicated problem with fitting a cooker hood, putting up blinds and basically anything else we asked him to help with. No job is too much for him he just gets on with sorting everything and I wouldn't hesitate to book him again.
