Ben did a brilliant job for us repairing our leaking gutters which had been poorly installed. He was also incredibly helpful offering advice for other issues we had with the house. I wouldn't hesitate in using Benvale again or recommending to friends and family.

I would highly recommend Benvale Home Maintenance - Ben was happy to tackle a variety of issues in our house including fitting a dishwasher, a complicated problem with fitting a cooker hood, putting up blinds and basically anything else we asked him to help with. No job is too much for him he just gets on with sorting everything and I wouldn't hesitate to book him again.

Ben recently completed several jobs around the house for me (ranging from installing a new dishwasher to repairing an old wooden window frame, grouting the hearth tiles to repairing a kitchen cabinet door). I found Ben to be professional and friendly, organised and neat and tidy in his approach to the work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben (as indeed, I already have) and look forward to welcoming him back again in the future as my new ‘go to’ handy person. A well deserved 5 star rating !

So glad that I went local. Really good service and excellent work. A local family business that made me feel like I was part of their family. Obviously with a big job there were going to be issues, but they were worked out seamlessly. Select recently replaced my timber conservatory with uPVC. The team Nicholas and Hayden are conscientious workers meticulous with detail tidied up each evening before they left and left me secure until new conservatory was in place.Terry who did the surveying etc managed to source all components to do the job in spite of all the difficulties in getting supplies to do the job. Select windows fitted new windows to our house. Whilst talking to the owner (terry) i asked him about installing a conservatory (which they could do) or them building a extension. We opted to go with having a brick built extension with a conservatory feel to it ie lots of side windows, opening doors and velux windows in the roof which open. We also choose to have a eco friendly roof installed by select which retains heat alot better than a traditional roof. Terry project managed the whole build from start to finish whilst the family team (trev, nick and ross) completed the extension which has exceeded our expectations. We had a Solidor front door and side panel fitted this week, and we had excellent service. The showroom has a good selection of doors on display. From seeing the one we both liked to the installation, was a great experience, very professional, a family owned business with the personal touch. Highly recommended

Lucky and Son fitted a 17ft (5m by 3m) by 10ft metal garage which required bolting to the ground. Also, the garage assembly required 100s of screws to be fitted. They provided a professional quality service, fitting the garage exceptionally, preceded by a quick prompt honest transparent quote. All this was carried out with humility and character. We had Ben round to our new home for a whole range of Improvements last year. Prompt, polite, clean, excellent standard of work and fairly priced, too. We have used him many times since, including the installation of a rubber roof on a flat roof extension which was done quickly and to a very high standard. Finding a reliable, fairly priced builder who delivers a high quality job can be tricky, so Ben is someone I can recommend and promote without hesitation. 10/10

Justin has done many jobs for me inside and out , in my garden he built and put up my back fence on top of wall and also laid and fitted my false grass . When an ex partner left my en suite leaking down into main bathroom . Just the job saved the day once again , he very quickly removed and fitted a corner shower and put up a ceiling in my main bathroom . Alway very polite and extremely tidy . Many jobs are lined up for Justin to do as his work is top class . 10/10

Recently moved into my home & needed the kitchen refitted & new flooring laid down. Justin was an absolute star. He really brightened up my kitchen & his suggestions made the kitchen even better than I could imagine. I recently had the pleasure of hiring Justin to mount the TV on the wall and put up some acoustic panelling, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. Justin visited today fitting window blinds & curtains rails . I'm very happy with the work Justin has done . Justin is very polite friendly & professional . Arrived on time, fully equipped to complete the jobs in hand . We have arranged with Justin to visit again with his colleague Lee, to complete further works, such as skirting boards , shelving , refitting of cupboards. Justin & Lee are also to quote for decking on the back garden. Decking to be completed in the spring. I highly recommend Justin & Lee. ( Just The Job) I will be using their services again .
