I contacted Johan regarding boxing in my old fireplace and making a bespoke stud wall to cover under the stairs and create a media section. He was extremely professional, kept me upto date on times and days and discussed design ideas taking onboard my needs. The finished products exceeded all my expectations, the craftsmanship was simply superb and the cost was extremely reasonable, given the attention to detail, and skills involved. If you want a professional job then I would highly recommend Johan. I'm definitely retaining his number for future works.

Johan provided a top rate service. He restored our broken Futon Company oak sofa bed back to full working order , which was not an easy task. Johan is very friendly and very skilled both in finding solutions and in the quality of his finished work. I would highly recommend him.

Johan was very prompt in responding to my request and skilled in many areas. I requested him to decorate my downstairs loo. He made me a bespoke boxing in of pipework which was removable incase of any future plumbing problems, with tiling and decor. I was pleased with all his work and although I thought his day rate was high once I considered the skill and time involved I realised this was a fair price for the work undertaken. He did also give me a time frame in which it would be completed minimum to maximum which is unusual for workmen. This took him 2 days and am pleased with the result.

I chose Johan because of his great reviews - and they are all well deserved. I needed a new front door fitting into the existing frame with new fixtures and fittings. He did a brilliant job, despite the frame not being exactly square. He was prompt, reliable, skilled and knowledgable, and he kept me informed of everything he was doing. Highly recommended.

100% recommended Andrew to anyone looking to freshen up their garden and create a lovely relaxing space to be able to sit out and enjoy. We had a bespoke fence installed, bushes removed, weeds tackled and the grass that had been neglected for almost 9 months is now manageable for us and thriving. Great bloke in general and listened to what we wanted and the vision we had for the space. The workmanship is impeccable and we are really pleased with how our garden has been transformed. Will be coming straight back to Dronfields Got Wood for any other work that we may require in the future.

Andrew made us some bespoke gates .They are really well made ,sturdy and a reasonable price . We love them! We couldn't recommend Dronfiled Got wood more . Good quality and fair prices . Ben recently completed several jobs around the house for me (ranging from installing a new dishwasher to repairing an old wooden window frame, grouting the hearth tiles to repairing a kitchen cabinet door). I found Ben to be professional and friendly, organised and neat and tidy in his approach to the work. Ben did a brilliant job for us repairing our leaking gutters which had been poorly installed. He was also incredibly helpful offering advice for other issues we had with the house. I wouldn't hesitate in using Benvale again or recommending to friends and family.

Ben has done a wonderful job on refreshing our walk in shower cubicle, removing and replacing all the old grout,re-grouting and resealing. He was recommended to us by a friend and we have not been disappointed. Very professional, cleared away all evidence of a very messy job we are very satisfied, our bathroom looks as new again.

Simon did a great job putting up a curtain pole for a heavy thermal door curtain. He is professional and friendly and made sure that I was happy with the job. He also did a short repair of a light fitting, which was very good of him, as I had not arranged this in advance. I'll definitely be asking Simon when it's time to start on that ever-increasing list of jobs that need attention.

I’m very pleased with the work Simon has done in my home, and I highly recommend his services. He initially did a tricky job in my bathroom that involved both joinery and plumbing. He quickly identified the causes of the issue, clearly explained the repairs needed, and followed this up with a written estimate. During the work, he kept me well informed and did a thorough job to a high standard. Needless to say, I had no hesitation in booking him for other jobs - he came up with a straightforward solution to sort out a damp issue and did a top job of fitting skirting boards. Whilst doing the work, he pointed out an issue that needed a gas fitter and helped with a contact. He is friendly, trustworthy and works very efficiently. Its my honest review about Mr. Colin. Mr. Colin is very Honest , Friendly , Professional , Punctual, Hard working and Dedicated with the work. I was planning to get a Decking in my back garden for a size of 6m x 3.6m. I contacted Mr. colin over the phone , arranged to view the area and provided me a quote. He came on time as agreed , surveyed the area and understood my budget. He shopped around for me to get the best quality material to meet my budget. He plans his work methodically and executes it preciously as per the design. He kept me updated with every stage of work ( Removal , Frame work , Fitting and Painting ). I am overall Happy and Impressed with his work. He surpassed all my expectation. It's difficult nowdays to find trades man like Mr. Colin. Recently moved into my home & needed the kitchen refitted & new flooring laid down. Justin was an absolute star. He really brightened up my kitchen & his suggestions made the kitchen even better than I could imagine. Having been looking for a person to repair the ridge tiles on our bungalow without much success, I eventually found Justin. A more pleasant, hardworking, and very efficient man it would be hard to find. He did a terrific job for me and cleaned the roof of moss as well as running a check over the rest of the roof. He turned up when he said he would and cleared away every bit of mess from the roof with no problem. I highly recommend Justin to anyone looking for a fair.friendly and honest person for your job.

Justin visited today fitting window blinds & curtains rails . I'm very happy with the work Justin has done . Justin is very polite friendly & professional . Arrived on time, fully equipped to complete the jobs in hand . Justin has done many jobs for me inside and out , in my garden he built and put up my back fence on top of wall and also laid and fitted my false grass . When an ex partner left my en suite leaking down into main bathroom . Just the job saved the day once again , he very quickly removed and fitted a corner shower and put up a ceiling in my main bathroom . Alway very polite and extremely tidy .
