Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! We would highly recommended hiring Jess to coordinate your wedding, it’s a no brainer really, you can have an amazing well-put together wedding and no stress!

My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. My husband and I were so pleased with how Sam styled the venue for our wedding ceremony and evening reception. Wow, where do we even start with Just Ticketyboo? I can't recommend the team here enough, we truly have had the most magical experience with Steph and Jackie from start to finish! We had our very first meeting around 2 years before the big day - we were pretty clueless on how to plan a wedding but Steph was able to bring our visions to life perfectly and completely blew us away ❤️ She arranged our whole venue dressing, booked all of our suppliers (who were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!) and also did our full on the day management, which I'd 100% recommend. On our big day, Steph and Jackie turned up bright and early to start setting up, they took my smaller touches I.e favours, slippers, signs etc and took care of setting everything up perfectly. They made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, took care of all the suppliers and timings etc on the day. They helped me into my wedding dress!! plus so much more & On top of all this, they were the kindest, most caring people to have there on your wedding day! They treated my husband and I amazingly and we truly felt blessed having them there for our whole day... right til the last person left! Even at the end of the night when I (may have..!) had one too many, there they were, still up and chatting away to me just as positive and happy as they were at the very start of the day. We chose Deb and Steff at Just Tickety Boo to decorate our wedding venue for the big day. We had several meetings to discuss what we wanted and they are such lovely people who have a very good eye for what looks great. On the day they went above and beyond what was expected and the venue looked phenomenal. We cannot thank them enough for their help and would highly recommend them.

Steph and Debs are just amazing. I’m so lucky I had them for my wedding, the venue I hired was rubbish and so were the staff but these lovely ladies turned it around and were able to cover all their mistakes on the day. My venue looked stunning after these ladies transformed it, nothing was too much trouble anything I asked if they did it and even better than I expected. The most lovely genuine ladies you will meet. They also decorated the church and stayed with me all day on the wedding from getting out the car at the church and fluffing my dress ready to walk down the isle to helping me on the coach in the evening. Zest provided a delicious meal for our 120 wedding guests including those with specific dietary requirements. Everything was beautifully presented and served piping hot. The staff team served in a helpful and unobtrusive way going the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly and in a timely fashion. We hired Zest 4 Events & Catering to do the buffet lunch for an 80th birthday party. Helen and Natalie were very helpful in planning the event to provide plant-based and vegan dishes for some of our guests. The food as delivered was plentiful, very tasty and beautifully laid out. Our guests thought it was an excellent spread, particularly as some of it was accessible to those with dietary restrictions. Great value; great service. A pleasure doing business with them - highly recommended.

We just wanted to say a proper ‘thank you’ for the fabulous food that you provided for my Mum’s funeral refreshments at St Barnabas. Right from when I first contacted you, you have been quick to get back to me with answers to any questions I had, and it definitely felt as though nothing was too much trouble. We got married at Haarlem Mill in August 2024. It was the fourth venue that we viewed and we knew as soon as we walked in that it was for us! The decor is a mixture of rustic and modern and the venue is already dressed to such a beautiful standard that very little extra decoration needed adding on our wedding day. All the added extras such as festoon lighting and foliage in the ceiling ladders are included in your the hire price (which is already super reasonable!) along with the so much more decor the team offer to you when setting up for your day. We were worried about picking a venue that would pressure us for decisions and need to be in constant contact & Haarlem Mill really is the opposite of that. Shannon is the friendliest and most knowledgeable wedding co ordinator who was able to offer us help advice whenever we needed it. She ensured the year planning our day was stress free, and organised a lovely evening where we could taste potential menu options. A separate ceremony room & reception room was important to us and Haarlem Mill offered us this along with a lovely bar area outdoor terrace which we were able to take advantage of on our day! There is an extensive list of food to choose from and the catering team are very flexible so let you pick from different menus, plus will try to accommodate any extras you wish to add into your menu. The food & drink on our day were both fabulous! Thank you to Shannon & the amazing team at Haarlem Mill for helping us plan our day, and also ensuring it ran smoothly! From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how beautiful Haarlem Mill is. It was the perfect blend of stylish and cosy, with its dramatic industrial backdrop and modern touches that suited our tastes perfectly. It has every room you’d want for a wedding all in one location, and as we got married in February, having plenty of space indoors for guests was hugely beneficial. The quality of the mill is only matched by its incredible staff. Shannon (the wedding coordinator) was invaluable throughout the planning stages: she addressed every question we had leading up to the event, providing advice, reassurance, and support whenever we needed her. On the day, she was exceptional; we were told weddings were stressful, but thanks to Shannon we didn’t feel any of it. No matter when we needed her, or what we needed her for, Shannon was there to support us and we cannot thank her enough. The catering was also wonderful. They went above and beyond for all dietary requirements and made sure that every single guest had food which was delicious, beautiful, and memorable. As soon as we walked in to Haarlem Mill we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The aesthetic is just absolutely beautiful, and the service is incredible. Shannon made planning our wedding super easy and orderly. We used Haarlem for our reception, the staff were excellent meeting us at the door with drinks and canapés. The food was to die for, absolutely incredible. The food and drinks are all locally sourced which is such a nice touch and something we really appreciated. After viewing a few wedding venues we chose Haarlem Mill because we loved the industrial mill itself, it was great value for money and Shannon was so helpful. The venue on the day of our wedding looked perfect and we were able to include everything we wanted to, like our dog which was really important to us. We had so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the food and Shannon. We can’t thank Shannon enough for all the help from our first meeting to the wedding day and even after. She made the day flow so well and couldn’t do enough for us, it took all the stress off of us and allowed us to really enjoy the day. We couldn’t recommend Haarlem enough to any couples looking to book their special day.

Sophie planned our daughter’s 18th birthday party last week end and we would highly recommend Luxe events. Sophie and her team were amazing, creative, professional, dedicated (in adverse weather!) and her attention to detail was second to none. She has such talented musical and culinary professionals and made the room look absolutely incredible. We can’t recommended Louise and the lush team enough. From start to finish the lush teams customer service was impeccable . We had meetings at our venue prior to our wedding day where Louise created our practice table , in doing this it put our minds at rest and we felt even more confident in the lush team. Louise knew exactly what to do but made it even better than we could have imagined. Louise styled our wedding in October, and we honestly could not recommend her enough! The best decor company in the UK. They went above and beyond for my reception decor, dealt with my indecisiveness for months, advised me on what would look best and allowed me to make my own changes making the arrangements bespoke, to reflect my colour scheme.
